    I just found your wonderful video. However, when you say hold CTRL and click on layer mask, what do I choose there? For some reason my selection lines all disappear and I do't have modify options

    Hi. I like your tutorial, but maybe a bit of extra help? When I come to your step "Edit/Content-Aware Fill" this Content-Aware Fill is greyed out, not clickable. I tried several things to get around it, but no success.... Any ideas?

    • @CristiKerekes
      @CristiKerekes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Make sure the layer where you want to apply Content Aware is not a smart object.

      I had the same issue. You must rasterize the layer you want to apply content-aware fill to.

    • @CristiKerekes

      Make sure you have the quick selection tool (for example) selected. The select and mask button should appear.

    how to lens blur object in the front? i want to make the object out of focus instead blurring the background

    • @CristiKerekes
      @CristiKerekes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      After you cut out the object, apply lens blur on that layer, not on the background.

    Does the subject have to be in the middle of the photo? every SINGLE time I get to the edit menu and select "fill" it's never bolded to where I can use it. I can do every single step before that but when it is time to select fill I can never select it. I have the updated version and everything! please help!

    • @CristiKerekes
      @CristiKerekes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Check if the layer where you want to apply the content aware fill is a smart object. In that case, "fill" will be grayed out. You need to right click the layer and choose rasterize and then try to reapply the content aware fill.
