Cristi do you think that Depth Blur is a good alternative for your older method of blurring a background like: cutting object from the photo and using content aware fill + blur tilt shift combination?

If you want to be in control of the blur and you have the time, I would go with the older method if it's a more complex image. But just for fun, I would start with the new Depth Blur and see what I get. Maybe it will give you a very good result. It all depends on the image.
