maybe a good middle ground for spoilers is letting yourself learn one thing about this game per day from vids? if my friends ever get this game imma push them to do that
This is why I love noita. It isnt just random, if you remember things like where you found a heart you can start good runs fast and dont have to worry so much about health in later levels
i actually see heart formations a lot, especially the toxic rock one, but they're usually empty for me. i would always explore them and usually get hurt in the process if they're dangerous, then end up seeing they have jack squat in them. i figured they were custom made, they looked too regular, but i also figured they were just there to troll me so i ended up ignoring them when i saw them in future runs. i was confused when i recognised some of these, but my questions were soon answered. you're quite good at explaining how the game works! i'll be sure to investigate these formations more thoroughly in my runs now
Seed #324901435. Great chest at the bottom of the ramp at the starting area. A few health flasks, spore flasks, like 3 health hearts, a shit stone and a water stone. I heard it was difficult finding the shit stone, and I couldn't remember the video asking for the seed if you stumbled across one. Hope this helps 😅

Thanks to your videos I have now made several actually decent wands that I could have made it to the final boss with if I didn't make some silly mistakes. Noita is a game I really, really want to like, but I haaaaated it for the first 5 hours or so. The game truly tells you nothing and then punishes you hard for not knowing the things it didn't tell you. I still think it could surface a little more information than it does, but I am actually enjoying playing the game 12 hours in now. Trying to only do 1 or 2 runs a day so I don't get too frustrated with it. Have yet to make it to the boss but I've gotten close and had a handful of runs with potential to make it there now thanks to information I learned watching your videos. Thanks! I post this after a frustrating death where I made quite a good wand. I never knew there was a wiki page on heart formations specifically, but I did memorize almost all of them over time because I always prioritize finding digging wands before going to coal pits. I did have this discussion with a friend that has even finished the sun quest (I am very, very behind on that) and he said he doesn't see any worth in looking into coal pits, that until I started to cosistently reach 400hp by the time I get to hissi base and my runs improved a lot.

I used to play noita a bunch, and recently came back to it. But it seems like now I frequently have runs where i will explore the entire first 2 floors, going top to bottom left to right without finding a single heart or chest. I've even had several runs where i made it to the second holy mountain without even getting an extra wand. Did they change the generation to make everything less likely to spawn or something?
I think the right term for what you're calling a "formation" is "tile." But yeah, spot on. Also, I feel like the Jungle is crazy good for finding hearts.
ok wait the wood formation at 8:55, the image says theres a wand there but there's no wand sparkles when youre there in the video, was there just no wand that time, or is there something that prevents the want from sparkling?
Found out there's sometimes a lot in the mushroom place, left to coal mines, probably some in the jungle as well. (Also im always too low of an hp to not get the mountain health.)
You could either try getting teleportanium and teleporting back up or teleporting into the portal room. You could also just go to the tower then from there go to overgrown cavern to get the fat loot
@@buttbutterson5326 I meant to get all orbs without completing cheesing the game, so without teleportatium for this purpose too haha Getting back up from by the tower seems the right way then :p
I think it is though it would be hard for me to tell if one was missing because I just know them from memory. I haven't noticed any missing in the earlier levels so far

Cant say I like these low effort rambling guides. I love editing and not having to wait until something is found by the youtuber. Also people don't realize how important a script is so you don't say the same shit 5 times. like "after a while you really get to know these formations" x100000. Make a script record the footage then edit it, objectively betetr videos
idk i like this rambling type because its down to earth and it shows me how he plays and his thought process instead of stitching together quick 60 second shorts

same thing happened to me i was having a great run then i got a homunculis and stepped in poly and he killed me
@@Magick_Creeper never get homunculus, all it does is ensure an enemy will be there to murder you if you get polyed.

it only hurts you if you go back while it's collapsing / there's the red particles in the air

When I get to the first holy mountain I'm usually under 10 health. Brutal.
I used to play noita a bunch, and recently came back to it. But it seems like now I frequently have runs where i will explore the entire first 2 floors, going top to bottom left to right without finding a single heart or chest.
