And pretty powerful. Even during the Vietnam War, few artists really reached the same level of quality in terms of writing effective music about draft resistance. "Give Peace a Chance" was a good song, but it's lyrics were mostly superficial. That Country Joe song "Fixin' to Die Rag" was pretty good, but also loaded with sardonic humor. This one really hits home in terms of the actual human TOLL of drafting young men in wartime.
