Just as surprized as when I saw this one a good while back. The color shift is subtle but quick and close enough in shades that it makes you question your own perception. Years later, but this has got to be one of my favorite ones you've done. You got the full color spectrum with the color shift, from red to yellow to green to blue to purple, without any one color or range of colors being too dominant at any given angle, but the effect also being somewhat subtle but still noticable.
If he had told me it was mixed with just two colors I would have thought he was lying and used five colors! Still, gorgeous results. It would look great on a '19 Corvette or '94 Lotus Esprit.
By the time you get a couple passes on the car, the different colors have been agitated in the cup enough to thoroughly mix. But that color is amazing and its perfect with those wheels!!

That got to be one of the more interesting colors that you have painted a car. 35 years ago my future wife got a gold colored 2 door compact sedan, but she liked the car but not the gold color, a friend of mine offered to paint it blue using some paint that had been over ordered. However he made a mistake due to the type of candy paint and we did not get a Blue car back it was more of a dark teal, but looked amazing, as the grill looked old we replaced it with chrome tubing, we got the wheels painted the same color and put chrome trim rings and hubcaps on it, and took a coil out of each string to firm up the ride, which also lowered. A month later we went to a local car show and ended up parked next to the show cars, we managed to pick up a 1st prize of the paint work, not bad for a mistake.
This blend reminds me of a gorgeous beetle I saw once. The insect, not the car. I love that it has a 3-color shift effect. The 4th seems to vanish, but enhance the others.
The mixing could have been minimised with an index card in the center acting as a temporary separator. HOWEVER, between the sloshing while painting, and the act of the gun sucking and spraying the paint, it probably would have been the same result.

Omg looks so amazing, I like how there’s an orange tinge when you move around the vehicle
It’s freaking oil slick! That’s sick! I want that on my bike!
This blend reminds me of a gorgeous beetle I saw once. The insect, not the car. I love that it has a 3-color shift effect. The 4th seems to vanish, but enhance the others.
Definitely mixed in the cup when pouring
Looks cool but not as expected
Edited for spelling
The mixing could have been minimised with an index card in the center acting as a temporary separator. HOWEVER, between the sloshing while painting, and the act of the gun sucking and spraying the paint, it probably would have been the same result.
Does it matter ? What add a note about me leaving an edit note ?
@@intothecalm420 It's fine, and Squatchin Outdoors is just being honest. TH-cam doesn't tell you WHERE the edits happen. You could completely rewrite the post to make everyone who replied look like knobheads.
What about alternating coats with two different pearls? Not sure if you'd tried that, but awesome color nonetheless.
Another similar idea would be to do a base color, then a bunch of clear coats with really light amounts of pearl in each one, so you get a ton of depth to your finish
these colours make me feel like its need for speed most wanted and we get the crazy shift colours. epic
I love how the colours change as you move the camera. That's beautiful.
Try different viscosity paints with a double barrel atomizers
I think Biden will require a background check for those!
wow. that is not only cool, it's fantastic. and it's a color changer
That must be one of THE best random outcomes, Awesome :)
I wasn't expecting a lot out of this experiment, but really love how it turned out. 5/5
