I'm not sure how long you keep the colors on the cars before changing them, but it might be cool to try coloring the cars half black half white so we can see how the hypershift works on both shades.
This is a fucking great idea and something different to plus it kinda wid give us viewers and idea of what to request for future dips as then we can first hand learn from seeing a difference side by side plus again just a neat idea maybe then get the viewers to vote on which they like best and then maybe make the winner dip a custom of “dip ur car “ and name then vote for a name ?

It will. In nail tech circles we call this unicorn pigment. Over white nail gel it comes out as a purple mix with undertones of those seen over black. It's often called a dual pigment. Can also be used over other colours, and it will enhance that particular colour.

I think it would be interesting to maybe do a few different bases on speed shapes and then get viewers to vote on a full project with it like you've done before. This pigment is crazy and I love the shift. Solid 4 out of 5. Would love to see this over white or a purple candy concentrate to see if that purple in the powder shows up
Agreed! My initial inclination was to see what it would do over a straight red, but given how crazy this came out on the car, seeing what it does over different speed shapes with different bases would be the way to go. Maybe White, Blue, Red, Yellow, Grey? I've got a feeling that this pearl has a lot of tricks up its sleeve that we'd have to see it on several bases to see just how many.
I think with a Pastel Lavender base coat, you may get better results. You might try a Prismatic Clear Coat on top of the Hyper Pearl for a deeper 3D aesthetic.
Definitely did not expect green, but it will have to be a 4 for me, it is really nice. I can only imagine what it will look like with a orange, or even a red base coat.
Cool color kinda think it would have been cooler with what it looked like in the clear mixer wonder how much more of the purple would come out on a white base
I’m really curious how a white base coat would affect the end result. This color looks really interesting and am wondering if it would be totally different over white or still close to the same! Either way, I really dig the way this came out!
I've watched quite a few of your vids and must say that this paint job is the best looking out of all the others I've seen. This one just pops and has beautiful green highlights that shine.
Wow that was totally upside down to what I was expecting out of the beaker. I saw purples and cyans with a hint of gold. Not a harlequin green! I vote to spray this over a super bright lime green paint, or a deep purple , and I agree with the lighter pigment load. Not personally a fan of this combo, but it's absolutely a standout colour
What a shame, the final color is still a 3/5 but if it had looked like it did in the mixer it would have been a super easy 5/5, that purple to gold was awesome looking. Also please do Mandarin Orange base and Burnt Copper Alloy mixed with ZTU HyperShift on top. :)
You guys need a "test board" with a bunch of base colors lined up side by side that you can spray pearls over to see the effects of different colors all at once. Kinda like how you've done in the past where you do multiples of the little car shaped sample things
What a color shift! 4/5 Would love to see it over the purple color it looked like it was going to be, maybe the right base can reinforce that quality it starts off with?
Not usually a fan of the hypershifts but I rate this one a solid 3, it's like looking at the car through a heat camera. I would love to se this over at white base coat
On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the highest, I give it a 10. This is so outrageous it is completely awesome. YES, I really mean this. I love the colors that grab your attention so quick, your head nearly snaps off. Super cool.
It looks the same outside as in. It was weird watching a can full of purple hit the car as green, but I think that’s mainly due to the way it interacts with the black base. This would look completely different on a much lighter base, probably purple with gold highlights. I’d love to see that. Still so cool.
@@TheGreatKatulu Primary colors can be mixed to make the entire colorspace, red yellow blue produces a far inferior colorspace compared to cyan magenta and yellow.
That’s fantastic, solid 4.5-5. I would love to see it on a white base coat too see what the full opposite contrast would be. If it catches more of the blues and purples I might consider it for my ATS.
I think it looks awesome! I'm always a sucker for color shifting, and I think the very chrome, metallic look this one comes out as looks great. I love the emerald to teal color most of the car occupies at any given angle, too. I just wish what the almost copper/bronze/maroon color some spots get depending on the angle was more of a blueish purple.
I was trying to figure out whether that was a pale copper or sort of a lilac shade! My brain couldn't handle what I was looking at and the fact there was like zero purple despite how purple it looked as a powder.
I don't know how many of your videos I have watched (a bunch), but this may be my favorite color. I'd love to see this on my little pickup truck. That's an awesome color!
3.5 for me.🤔 That was interesting. The hint of purple/magenta is to faint to love. Not sure what white base would do. I like the idea of speed shapes as well. Seeing this on multiple base coats would be awesome. Choose the best one for a bigger scale. Hmmm a Persian Blue as a base might be quite interesting.
I love it. its awesome how it starts off purple and ends up green.! would love to see if the colours mix better if you put the dry colour in and then add the liquid on to[.
I knew it would come out in as green just wasn't expecting how brilliant it would be. I would love to see this over a bright red, but with one as tricky as this I would find it fascinating to see multiple colors on speed shapes (white, purple, yellow, blue, red, orange, green, etc) cause I feel like that would be mind blowing.
I like the 'Green Chrome' look this ZGP Hypershift has over the black base so I'll give a 4.5 for the color. I wonder what a 5g/gal over a medium-dark blue would look like (something between Pantone 2935C and 2945C)
Beautiful! Does have a definite insect iridescence to it - I’d love to see how it would come out on a silver base - see what colours come through then….4.5/5
I'll give it a 5! I would love to see this color rocked over a dark or electric blue base coat but thinned out some to make more of the blue to show up from underneath. And if you really want to go wild then spray a thinner coat over a silver base coat and topped off with a super thin layer of diamond dust layer on top..
I love the exchanges golden, yellow, olive green, lime green...all the way to dark forest greens and dark blues and and many other shades. I would definitely cover my ride with it.
5! Definitely one of my favorites! Super surprised how it turned out! Think I really like the pewter silver tones that come through. BTW; your biceps are awesome but tri's and traps need to grow for balance. You look good, have a seriously cool job and are probably a nice person!
Man, that is sick! How in the world did it go from mostly purple in the package to green & gold?!?!? I thought the base color was the perfect foil for this. But that oil slick/unicorn blood topper was the kicker.

For the experiment of course we need to see the difference on oposit base. Meaning - white. But to get the most out of such sort I would suggest yellow. Yelow base would conflict the colour turning car unrecognisable.
I like green. It is one of my favorite colors. Between the green and gold, it loses too much of the purple. Ends up being like any other shift. I agree that there is too much saturation. Way less pigment, and a purple basecoat.
*We didn't see that coming at all.. What base color should this go over next?*
Idk cause i haven’t seen the video yet!
Try white next time

Genius!
😮😮😮
I was thinking same.
I was thinking different bases: red, dark blue, dark green, and a white/silver to see difference.
It looks like an iridescent beetle wing! Amazing! I think we need to see it over white though, see if any of that purple pulls through.
I totally agree. Over white. My guess is that it would definitely 1 be brighter and 2 bring the purple out more

Or with some candy combos…
yeah i mean if they did it on black why not white, just kinda crazy how it looked blue and purple in the can but turned green on the stick and car.
I agree, I would love to see a lot of these projects with a lighter base coat. I say do some white base coats for a bit!!!!
definitely a 5. I'd love to see this over a dark chrome base.
That's a 6/5 for me. I'd love to see that over the arctic camouflage base, it would be an insane 1-of-a-kind car.
I'd like to see it over a cobalt blue at the lighter load. The silver/gold flairs of this hypershift would be a great combo.
I honestly think this would shift hard between a teal to purple if put over a medium blue base coat. It could be stunning.
Exactly .... and just to git StupiT with it , Metallic Matte Ice Blue.
