Is this from the final cut? Some parts feel a bit off...? Like when she says "what a stupid sentimental thing for Diana to do", i swear it's different than the movie, at least the one i have. Am I just tired? Anyone else hear the difference? I may need to get out my dvds and do some sleuthing!! 🔎🧐
No you are not just tired! There are two different takes here. In my old original The Sequel as it aired in Australia (which is different from this one, which is the Gazebo TV/official streaming one) the close up is from the original take used but the walk with the bikes, Jonathan's slightly different delivery about "it makes a lot of difference to her - he's proposed and Diana has accepted" and then Megan's slightly different delivery of the above line you mentioned - and also she took a little longer to put her bike away and drew out her next line - are all from a different take. When I first watched this version I lost my tiny mind!!! I still prefer the original take used of the whole scene but it all just adds to our love of it all - and it takes a true kindred spirit to notice the difference!!!

Funny how the script can contain the right words, but even a slight change in delivery, and it just feels wrong, after hearing the other version so many times! I think i need to watch the sequel all the way through to restore the balance! 😅
