Great video, thanks so much for posting. For those noticing the demo used a Buick without the front window...yes it can be done without removing the window. I did it yesterday. Make sure the window is up when you start the process. All steps are the same except forget about using your left arm/hand to remove and return the rear 10mm nut. The window slider assembly gets in the way. I used my right hand for both nuts. Front one wasn't too bad...the back one, ugh! On the reassembly I dropped it a couple of times but finally got it started. Then due to no clearance space for the wrench I had to deal with little 1/16th of a turns with each wrench turn. Helps to shine a light down towards the nut/stud from where the window meets the bottom edge of the window frame. In the video he is able to force his left forefinger down this gap since he has removed the window.Again, great video and saved me a lot trying to figure out the little tricks GM used on assembly

This method only works if you have small hands.... I just had to remove 4 mirrors (2 at the Junk Yard, 2 on my vehicle), and install two (replacement mirrors) in the same vehicle. Everything is accurate, and help me a bunch, except I had to remove the Window guide in the door to access the 10mm bolts closest to the door handle. I had every tool possible, and tried doing it without, but it was impossible. Definitely have some time allotted when trying this, definitely takes longer than 10 mins. It looks like the window is either down or missing from the door. Can the mirror be changes with the glass in the door? Thanks.

Going to use this to replace the mirror on my 93 Park Avenue
Just and FYI for people out there. They did remove the hardware for the window and the window itself so when you go to do the inside bolt where he puts his arm through that is the only way possible to shove be your arm in there. I highly recommend doing this although it is more steps and you’ll have to find the corresponding videos for that. If you don’t remove the window it’s is still possible to remove but it makes it way harder to do with very very little room to get to the second nut. If the mirror is broken and you don’t care about it you can break it off and take needle nose pliers on the bolt and screw it off from the outside. But getting the nut back on the new one will be a royal pain. Just an FYI. Why anyone would make it so difficult is beyond me.

took me 4 hours to do this, my panel was not the same 1995 lesabre it looks like a 1996 pannel some how. thank you for the video because without it id never have been able to figure it out

Pull the glass. The video doesn’t mention it but if you’ll notice, they’ve pulled the glass. In the least pull the window track.

Wow what a nightmare. Guess I'm going to have to call my mechanic to put a freaking mirror on. I'll definitely not be able to do this. Even with all the tools.
