Well centering the voice coil is for the weak And if i am not mistaken the former is just paper i mean no resin no nothing 100 degrees and boom goes the coil if it has not shorted out prior to that while scraping the motor

If it has a transformer on it, it's probably a Field Coil. Vintage kind of speaker driver used in many vintage guitar amps and class A Tube radios. I know nothing about repairing FC speakers, but It could be very difficult. However if all it needs is a recone, use some Loctite rubberized or flexible glue. Those paper cones are quite brittle considering their age. I dunno what the transformer does, but DO NOT EVER Connect the speaker to AC power. This will guarantee that your property goes down in flames. Instead, use high voltage DC current or a tube amplifier to drive it. Just be careful of it - Tube amplifiers have the Mains wired directly to the metal chassis as they don't have a Transformer, so don't touch the chassis, otherwise you'll have 110V right in your face. Replace any paper wax capacitors and resistors that are leaky or "open" by using a Multimeter and the Schematic that came with that tube radio. No not plug it in before servicing it. This will short the capacitors and possibly blow the tubes. I'd recommend watching some Shango066 to get the experience of what's it's really like to resurrect or restore even tube radios. But I'd recommend getting somebody that knows stuff like this to get it working properly. I'd also do research on FC speakers to know what you're getting to.
Hi! Can someone telle me please whats the problem with this speaker? It started to resonate/vibrate since yesterday. It resonates even on low volume level. It sound almost like when the volume level is to high and a speaker isnt capable to play without distortion. You have to watch the video on earphones to hear the wrong vibration. I can hear it comes 99 percent somewhere from the membrane. When i touch the membrane it becomes louder. I tooked the speaker apart, but found nothing loose inside that need to be tightend or something. Also when ive tooked the bass speaker from the housing it sounded normal. Only when i put it in the housing it started to resonate. Like it has something to do with the air. Also when i put a towel in the "subbasshole" in the front of the speaker the resonation disapears. Wow... soldering almost on the cone surface is a brave thing, but to leave all the dry glue under the dustcap, where weight ratio is the ultimate key, not to mention the corrosion on the basket seems for me literally an awful work... so please do not continue this activity...
First, and only thought. Sanding rusty metal will result in metal particles in the voice coil gap that will not come out do to the magnet.
