It was working an hour ago so I looked on TH-cam and found this video. Had no idea the pump came apart and could be cleaned. Just saved me from ordering a new pump. Thanks for posting!!
My fountain stopped working, and I just did as you directed - cleaned the motor- and it's now working like a charm again! I didn't even know we could take the motor out! Now I will make sure to clean the motor regularly. Thankyou!

😳 I did not think this was going to fix the pump. It did!!! I thought I had burned up the motor when it ran out of water. Replacement part was only $5 and change, but the shipping cost was double that. This fix was FREE and pretty easy. Thanks so much!

@@CatsLifePH I am same my right hand is so shame to show even worse since covic started cause wash too many time, my hand has no oil as alcohol gel wherever I go, also working in the department and customer service job, I constantly cleaning my hand, at work I wear disposable gloves n my right hand cause it’s sting if I contact hard solution. Thanks a lots for the video. I have shared worlds by my Facebook if you happy about it ? I have never thought of opening the motor or anything just clicked amazon stupidly but I was so pleased when I found your video, and when it start flowing water again, I yelled Yey ! It’s working again! Then immediately canceled amazon order as it only still midnight and within half an hour since I ordered then amazon accepted it. I am glad, if things get broken, yes I may have to buy next time but touch wood ! Hope not break too soon. Thanks a lots, you take care wherever you are and please stay safe. 💖

But occasionally bite cheese, pizza, chocolates, ohhhhh, itchy itches always my arm bleeding during night cause scratching without notice. Haha, hope you take care too, we seems having similar issue. Xxx

I just got this fountain and didn't have a clue how to clean the pump plus I was lost trying to figure out which way to put the pump against the black filter or facing away ! Unfortunately your fountain didn't seem to have that bit in it so I guessed ... my cat seems delighted to have it although the first few says she went a bit mad drinking water. Very informative video.

Cleaning the pump didn't fix the issue and it still blinks red when turned on in water. Is the whole pump dead or is there a way to revive it somehow?
