So guys at 12:15 in the video it’s doing the same thing but just not as loud…
today actually throughly testing the 3rd base this new one from Overclockers is still broke 😂 so yeah unsure what to do from here will update soon 👊
Shocking!!😮 We need more straight talking reviews like this....
Worst thing is I thought it was okay on the newest one and it isn’t
Cheers for the review man 🤝🤝
Welcome 🎉
Wow, sorry to hear about your experiences! I think I'm lucky as I just got an R12 as an upgrade to my R9 V1, and haven't had the same issue with my CS V2P, RS V2 and FSR wheels.
Glad to hear you haven’t had an issue, do you know on the side of the box there is a bar code with a date on it could you see what date it is
Love your editing mate , it’s brilliant 👊
Legend!
atlas here from the boosted servers i have an r9 and cs wheel. I bought it used and ive put alot of hours on her close to 300. so far so good with mine no rattle but i also have the older beefier design. hopefully its really bad luck because i really like moza personally at its price point. now if i could afford it i would 100% go full sim magic! i have there e brake its awesome.
@@dgkallday897747 this a W comment am glad it’s all not the same user case like to know how many others have issues or how many have good experiences
Have you tried simagic?
Probably you’re right just rattling. I have purchased two r9s and one for a buddy. It a single issue. You are the first to come out with this. And if they are bad, get them replaced. They are under warranty.
Yeah but the thing is why I am making this is because I bought two different bases from two different companies and they both have the same issue… and my third Moza base is the same, if you see my comment…
I’ve had two R3 wheelbases with this exact same issue. My second one is worse than the first and it’s unusable. Very frustrating!! 😞
Oh shoot, my R5 comes tomorrow... fingers crossed
i have an r5, from OCUK btw, touch wood all good after 2 months plus, enjoy when you get it, love mine.
My r5 was fine too it was just the Moza r9
@@YSGiant my r9 has no issues and its used have had it 3 months now
@@hellrazor1646 i think ive just been super unlucky its a good thing though am glad others dont have this issue
So far all good with my R5 with the exception of a connection issue that sometimes just makes the wheel stop responding. I've read it's potentially a Bluetooth issue if there are lots of devices around. I turned off my PC Bluetooth and it seems to be fine since. Love playing truck sims in VR and some Assetto Corsa, though I have a long way to go with my racing skill haha no where to go but up! I also like BeamNG when it doesn't make me angry for being so realistic xD
w vid man 🔥
Cheers dude
I have a Moza R12 and wheel with no issues, however 2 weeks ago I bought an Moza extender that did rattle, did replace it and the 2nd one had same issue. I gave it back and took money back. Looks like they changed something with the qr manufacturing.
This is interesting, I think there an issue with the QR SHAFT ON THE BASE ON NEW products. It’s not a massive issue but it shouldn’t be happening it’s suppose to be silent and will get worse over time
@@YSGiant the extender also have a QR, the QR in my extender did a lot of noise, my KS wheel did nothing. So clearly an issue with some new QRs.
oh damn thats not good information.. i got my r9 2 weeks back but wheel came yesterday ... any idea if it can be tested without mounting the base to something? cause my TR order has not arrived yet and i didn´t order desk mounting..
no it has to be mounted i wouldnt worry too much but checking the comments for other users with the same issue
@@YSGiant i'll let you know once i'll be able to check it mounted to something ..
@@Tigrhaam pretty sure it should be alright dude but there is a chance it’s faulty if you bought it from uk
@@YSGiant well as there are no resellers that would have both wheels and bases in stock here i bought it directly from Moza.. came from some warehouse Moza has in Austria i think
Shitting hell. Bought an r9 v2 from abbruzi uk. Arriving this week.
I saw another content creator have the same exact qr issue, forgot his name but it seems to be a common issue with moza.
it just seems crazy that i have had 3 bases with the same issue 3 out of 4 have been bad is that just bad luck or a moza issue
Can't say Iv'e had a better experience with fanatec when I have had to RMA, took over a month and a half to have my pedal base repaired and sent back.
I think its just to be expected, the wait and turn round but I bought a second product to avoid this, and the worst thing about it is that the second r12 is also the same defect 💀
Good stuff man, yeah keeping my G29 smooth no issues cheap does the job. Had my g29 over year now drift everyday!
The g29 is at least a solid wheel
No issues whatsoever with my R9. Many use Moza. Yes one of so many can be faulty.
I’ve bought 3 bases and 2 of those have the defect and am now on my 4th with the same issue so it’s not just one in this case hence why am making this video
Whats the cop car game?
assetto corsa
@@YSGiant Is it the High Force mod?
Ive been happy with my Moza R12, i only get the rattle at top speeds like on the long straight at the nurburgring. If all i need to do is add a piece of tape I'm cool with it. The only option at this price is Fanatec , which is a big NO for me. Worth the compromise.
yeah i dont want to switch to fanatec just going to see what happens and your issue is mine all the time just play in the shaft and the wheel fitting
This can't be a serious vid? $100 it's the QR on the wheel side, not multiple faulty wheelbases.
100% he didn’t try a single other rim, like come on bubba 🤣🤣
Did you guys even watch the video?
You've got rocks in your head if you actually believe this bloke. I've had a r5 for near on a year now with constant use and abuse and still works the exact same way it did when I first got it, silent. You've gotten a faulty one, simple. Now get ya warranty and jog on 🏃➡️
@@lewisferguson8004 one Moza r9 3 Moza r12 and I’ve got another video coming it didn’t end there, so it’s not a faulty one it’s a faulty few
@@YSGiant how are you the only person with this problem then? Doesn't seem to add up mate
@@lewisferguson8004he’s not.. there’s a few people with this same issue, when tape is added to the base it’s perfect fine.
@@lewisferguson8004clearly he isn't the only person. And the problem is well documented here and real. If you understand engineering at all you will know that tolerance is everything, it appears that there is a batch of shafts that are slightly out. So no, it wouldn't happen for everyone. But that doesn't mean it's not real.
You've had some bad luck! No need to post a video about it. 🤷♂
How not 🤣 it’s literally my job, but also highlighting an issue that clearly needs to be addressed not only the head of distribution identified it as a problem I did also and it was not just mine that had the issue they also confirmed this 6 out of 20 products so far have been defective so isn’t just bad luck at this point and if you was to buy one of these products you would want to know that there’s a chance you may get a defective product so yeah
