You don't need 3 stars to move to the next license challenge. These challenges are done pretty lazy I hope this isn't the final product.

If starfield can give us mods on console then they can definitely give us a mod menu built by them.

It hasn't ruined s*** people shouldn't be allowed to do or use things that they have no experience or ability to use it's like for example in my repair shop right now I have a 2001 Honda CBR 1100 XX super Blackbird it's not as crazy as my r1 but you know what that's a lot of bike and the owner he doesn't really ride motorcycles it's just something that he bought from one of his customers so you know what it's not something that he should ride just because he has access to it he shouldn't have access to it he shouldn't have a 1 liter bike when he's never even written a dirt bike does 125cc how you going to ride 1100 cc motorcycle if you're playing a racing game even though it's a racing game I mean it's a simulator so of course you would expect them to make it so that certain vehicles that require a certain amount of skill or control would be locked behind requirements such as licensing so that you can prove that you're able to manipulate the controls of this vehicle in a proper way that you're not going to just crash and die of course it's a video game so I get what you're saying you'd rather be able to drive whatever you want but I do like the fact that you need to have a certain license in order to drive the fun s***so it's kind of like it's behind a certain level of accomplishment

So controller players can basically play like 5 cars and goodbye. Well done kunos. I litelarly never played AC online because I can't compete with people who have wheels but at least I could drive f1 cars as much as I wanted in practice.

need level 1, so honestly not that much work. But yeah, would be great to have single player experience and multiplayer seperated

i dont understand why you just dont move on with the 2 stars, u dont need 3 stars u can get all the licenses with 1 star and move on and then come back to them when u feel like it

Genuinely getting tired of people who don't understand what Early Access actually is. The game isn't out for another 6-7 months. Enjoy having it early, enjoy it basically being half price, but understand the trade-off is that you're basically cheap labor in terms of testing for those privileges.

I really enjoy the fact you have to prove yourself to drive the crazy cars. (Should be like that irl) it’s gives a progression system. Who’s gonna sit there and go lap after lap without anything to achieve? Only the die hard racers and most of those guys are on iracing. This gives a forza feel with realistic physics. If y’all just wanna drive any car you want there’s forza, regular assetto, etc. this is going to change car games for the better

I like the addition of licenses. SportsCar license was easy but after that theres a lot of replay value. If they make it a little harder in theory it'll make the open world and online races better. I had 280k after getting my supercar license lol

Waited for a long time for this game. bought a new moza r9 combo and upgraded it just for this.. but im getting more and more pissed off each time i play and thats not the feeling i want when im playing games.. kinda upset

They'll probably release the tools for creating/exporting mesh files at some point. I'm sure kn5 files weren't meant to be editted intiially either. I don't see the problem personally. The KsEditor wasn't exactly perfect either, so maybe they have something nice soon.

No mods, no purchase. Hence why I've not jumped on the early access bandwagon. I'm not going to be used like a cash cow and buy all my content like all the other developers have done to us. However, just think about how AC was at the start. We had weather added and night and day and the devs said that they couldn't add that as the engine wasn't able to do it. Modders have an amazing knack of just doing the impossible. Project Cars wasn't moddable, nor was AMS2, but they eventually had mods and some of them were mint.

It seems to me that EVO is, first and foremost, designed to make money from console sales. Kunos is using PC players to fund, develop and test version 1.0. Smart move for them but not necessarily for us. I don't think it will be a replacement for AC1. I'm sure smart people will be able to make mods but distributing them will be controlled. Whether Kunos will be able to control everybody remains to be seen.

The game is in EARLY ACCESS. OBVIOUSLY they arent gonna let mods in now.

The games already cracked so even if they don't have proper support people can mod it. It's not like GTA 5 has any mod support but it's still modded, that to with script extenders and rockstar hates that. More importantly there was a post on reddit that talk about unpacking the content file and getting the game to run unpacked so there is that, I just checked the tools git repo, will try it out later today. If you can run the game unpacked then Kunos can't moderate who mods what, it's just that their official store will platform paid mods. Also if Kunos was gonna get into trouble for mods, they can still get screwed for AC mods.

Yes i will still play evo, the tyre models and physics are spot on. I cant go back to a slippery assetto corsa, im chasing realistic handling considering i drive an M4 at the track in real life.

You said it yourself at 6:20 ... They have said they will support mods, many times. They have said that they will be making mod tools available to the public after Early Access. All the files are in a different format because it's a new engine, old assetto corsa is infamous for massive bloated mod files because everything is stored uncompressed. Getting decent load times especially on console means moving to a more efficient custom format. So much doom and gloom just because there isn't mod support from day 1 of the early access. If they didn't want to allow modding, they wouldn't have confirmed allowing it dozens of times in interviews.

Or maybe they are just restricting it for now as they are still going through development and it is still currently an early release. After they are 100% done with the game then hopefully they will unrestrict it and make it available to mod

i have like 2-3 hours of play time in ac evo and the game just dosent feel like its supposed to, running the game on ultra on triple screen and the graphics are gliching the passenger mirror is black the drivers mirror is completely pixelated but the pit crew is animated really good. when you set the rain the water drops on winsheild, its like someone drew straight lines. and overall experiance is just bad and 32 euros is just not worth it for now.

I bought it , and I dont regret it.Even in early access this game is so good , and when the game is done , its going to be even better then GT7.
