Now that Nimoy is dead I finally realize, I need some more of this stuff. Not the just okay action Star Trek Movies in cinema, but this hole inside star trek universe feeling, which made me study computer sciene and physics and makes me enjoy dreaming every day about, if there is more than just this fucked up world. Plz give us back some inspiration. I could need some right now. RIP

"For that one fraction of a second, you were open to options you have never considered. *That* is the exploration that awaits you; not mapping stars and studying nebula, but charting the unknown possibilities of existence." - Q
Trek made me want to become a scientist, I understood that everything in this universe is perfectly logical, and that witch isn't is just another undiscovered country for us to go in boldly.
Goodbye Mr Nimoy, thank you for bringing " Mr Spock " to us, try as they might they will never replace you. My life was enriched by your portrayal of Spock, and now they are just happy memories that I will keep in my mind. I stand to applaud you for the joy you brought to all of your fan's
Mine too, it is one of the most inspiring pieces of music I know. The First Contact theme makes people want to go forward in hopes of a brighter tomorrow, exploring New Frontiers and to boldly go where no one has gone before to use Churchill's words, to find "bright lit sunny uplands"
As I'm sitting here listing to this glorious music blasting through my hi-fi, my mind is taking me through some wonderful memories - all of them wonderful! Thank-you so much for sharing this with us all. We have so much to be grateful for with 50 years of Star Trek which unlike other science fiction pointed a way to a better humanity. What a fabulous vision Gene Roddenberry had. He used the medium of tv to communicate difficult concepts that could not be discussed otherwise, but did so in a format that also brought a great deal of enjoyment at the same time! This music reminds me of all we have to be grateful for and I thank the poster for it.
May my children grow up to be kinder and wiser than I am. May the world they create be more peaceful, and more accepting than the one I live in. May the future they walk towards be brighter than today.
I love almost everything about star trek enterprise. The ship looked great, the setting was fantastic, the potential was there for a fantastic show. I just wish more episodes delivered on that potential.
There were many fine episodes of Enterprise but i think they were kind of running out of ideas with Star Trek being on the air continually since 1987. I also think Voyager was a hit and miss series. TNG and DS9 was where it peaked for me.
Wonderful! I flew to Las Vegas years ago to visit the Star Trek Experience. It was life altering! Amazing! The First Contact theme was played at most of the exhibits. It remains in my mind as a milepost in my life. Star Trek has always meant hope, courage, ethics and human potential to me. Thank you for this. Inspiring!
I saw a news video on Facebook today of poor people in Haiti eating cookies made of sun baked clay-dirt and I followed it up by listening to this suite… tears are welling in my eyes… to know that we have the technology, will and spirit to make the world a better place, to help and uplift the rest of mankind with the vision of Star Trek….. Its time we enact the principles of StarFleet here now on Earth… there are many who need us now….. MAKE IT SO
the younger generation who was born after the year 2000 may say we don't need Trek... but I say that we do. Now... more then ever... with half the world becoming embroiled in ugly vicious wars and with more refugees on Earth now then at any tim since the end of the second world war... we need the hope that Trek brings.... I know I do.
After reading the comments in the recent NASA videos on the Mars and Juno missions I must whole heartedly agree with you. We've lost that sense of wonder, of our calling to higher and greater things. To lose our way like that means that we're capable of drifting in any direction. And based on so much of the commentary I've read disparaging the work of the real space program, it seems that we can't wait for extinction. If we can't recapture that dream, that hope, well then we don't deserve the stars.
Never forget when they were filming Star Trek IV at the Monterey Aquarium...Leonard Nimoy, directing, heard something funny and was belly laughing and looked up right at me. Whoa...
Since I was a boy I watched this series, and many episodes over and over again and again. I have found solace and challenge in these tales which are a modern day mythos for the souls journey. Thank you for these wonderful musical journies.
I don't get why people always say that Star Wars music is better than Star Trek music. Trek music moves me to tears. Just listening to the First Contact theme and the music from Broken Bow stirs a passion in me like none other. I love Star Trek
Star Trek IS more moving, more engaging, on a much higher level. I love all the Star Trek theme songs. Especially First Contact, and of course Archer's Theme as well!
Wow. The segue from the brief DS9 theme to Archer's theme left me feeling a bit... wow.. A bit teary for this time in the morning. Incredibly well done, absolutely incredibly done :).
Some music goes to the deepest reaches of our hearts, our spirits. Just a reflection of being made in God's image. We're a reflection of His creative handiworks.
That picture is perfect.. I stared at it for ages.. The symbolism is perfect... The dawn of our future; a hopeful dream... I hope we make it. One day.....
Very nicely done! Thank you for posting this wonderful music. It expresses a view of what we can become, once we see past national borders and ethnic differences. Every poem ever written, every love that has been loved, every story of our species has occurred here on this little blue marble. Gene Roddenberry gave us a view of humanity at its best: curious, persistent, resilient, passionate, ethical, compassionate, beautiful.
That was awesome! Thanks for the upload! Can't wait for see part two and beyond of the Star Trek Mega Suite in preparation for the 45th anniversary of "Star Trek", happening in 2011! Season's greetings! Live long and prosper!
We can only hope to see this world in the future wether we see it in a new life or heaven it will bcome a reality. I hold on to that belief with all of my heart.
Thank you, Tyrannicus, for the excellent merger of all the Star Trek theme songs into one beautiful, meaningful, awe-inspiring composition. The orchestral arrangements are second to none. Thoroughly enjoyed it, ESPECIALLY listening to this much appreciated arrangement and wonderful music thru my new Sennheiser 560 S headphones.
You known even with all the great suites you've made recently, I really think this is one of your two best (the other being 3). Maybe once these are all done you can come back and give Enterprise a little more love?
3:30 ..I am sad JJ.Abrams killed Star Trek by pulling it down to the level of a transformers movie. Star Trek was about arts, philosophy and what it is that makes us human. May videos like this be a constant reminder to us Trekkies that there will allways be a place in our minds where we can still boldly go where no man has gone before, where a vision is stronger than our petty wars and conflicts - THIS will allways be my Star Trek.
The music from Enterprise blends really nicely into the Kelvin-timeline music. I can almost imagine it like a subtle vision of the future for Starfleet and the Federation going on from Archer's time. (Even if those movies are on a different timeline and aren't the best).
I'm a big orchestra fan so I would LOVE to see Alexander Courage, Jerry Goldsmith, Dennis McCarthy and Michael Giacchino in the same studio and see what they come up with. It would be EPIC.
Fantastic, a hopeful future. We may have all been born on Earth but our future is among the stars. We can't keep all the eggs in one basket so we must explore.
@thetardis2012 Actually all the music is sourced from real audio tracks, either official or demo releases by Dennis McCarthy. I only used Mixcraft to transition between tracks and occasionally change the tempo or pitch of the tracks.

Didn't realize how much I enjoyed (and miss) Enterprise 'til I heard the theme.

They should of done better on CGI but cant blame the time period :)
Really only downside I can think of is the fact they never got a 5th season, with aNX Refit (it’s a beauty) and the Enterprise J (not a beauty)
