I love the kelvin movies....They are so different from the original cast movies...One of the best things is the music from both movies.... Producing a different Star Trek does not mean it can't be Just as good as the original...No one will ever replace Leonard Nimoy and Bones....Great Sound track.....
@Hard-R Wars supernova threatening an entire galaxy and destruction of Vulcan visible from some moon that it doesn’t have… is superior to what exactly? Let alone emotional nonsense for dialogue and barf-inducing space fight scenes like it’s the last star wars movie

I hate the Kelvin universe everything looked crap, the phaser guns, no visible shields no phaser streams just stupid laser bullet's the whole bridge looked like an iphone store the buzzards was blue ? with the pylons looking like shampoo bottles stuck on like the Blake's 7 ship it fits nowhere in Star Trek that is why i threw my jj collection in the bin a couple of year's ago all three movie's went in the bin, no kidding and i never watch them when playing on tv channels, Joke Trek: The Shit Generation.
I'm sure JJ Abrams is very upset and shaking in his boots after reading this comment, if he hasn't died of a stroke from reading it first. Maybe work on your grammar and punctuation first mate and then you can insult. Bellend
Pulse phasers have always existed but serve much less purpose in the Prime Universe. As a matter of fact, stream phasers appear in the first 5 minutes of the first movie, as the USS Kelvin fires on the Narada. If I were to take a design guess for the movies, it's probably just that stream phasers would look messy in scenes where the Enterprise is seen firing, but for a in-universe explanation, the Kelvin timeline Starfleet probably sought to use cannons so the Enterprise (which in this universe is about the same size, if not larger, than the Enterprise-D) could fire on more targets at once with more force. I assume they just hadn't developed phaser banks like the Enterprise-D uses.
Actually, Nemesis started the short phaser bursts on hand phasers in Star Trek, not 2009. Also, I've never watched any of Blake's 7, so the frame of reference for comparison simply does not exist. Also what does " the whole bridge looked like an iphone store the buzzards was blue ?" even mean. Now did you mean the Bridge resembled an Apple Store? Though I'm not sure of your use of buzzards? Is that British slang? Or were there actual buzzards on the Bridge? Here is a far better version of your comment: "I hated the Kelvin universe, everything looked like crap. From the look of the Phasers, no visible shields, no continuous phaser beams (just stupid laser bullet-esque bursts), the whole bridge looked like an Apple Store. The Enterprise's pylons looked like shampoo bottles stuck on; it fits nowhere in Star Trek. This is why i threw away my 3 JJ Kelvin movie collection in the bin a couple of year's ago. I don't even watch them when they're playing on tv channels, Joke Trek: The Shit Generation."
Something every era of Star Trek has in common is fantastic music
Totaly agree!

There are three Kelvin timeline movies yet: Star Trek, Star Trek into darkness and Star Trek Beyond.
I completely agree with you, my friend!

In my audio room volume on full, just great, pure energy !!!!
Enterprising Young Men is brilliant. A fantastic revamp of the original theme. Added so much more to it.
This music made the movies soooo much better.

I grew up with the Kalven time line but dang strange new Worlds did me different
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Same bro
Captain Will, strange new worlds is supposed to be in the prime time line. Of it's some what threw you in a loop that's why.
👍👍🖖🏽
I can’t describe this except to say it’s crunchy and that’s the utmost compliment.
You did a great job, UndefinedOrb - really caught the best parts of the Kelvin Timeline!
Fascinating...
Indeed...
All of these Star Trek theme have their own beauty.

Epic music. Like a OTC SW. I love it
Well done. Love it
Great mix 👍
Splendid 🎶!
Magnificent!
Star Trek '09 (XI) was lit. Into Darkness was different. Ricardo Moltaban is Khan Noonien-Singh. Benedict (Strange) did well
I want this for my funeral
Yes, this is a Fresh , New take on the series. It's great and fun. Can't wait 4 the next one.
Sensacional!
Defenetly the best soundtrack a movie has ever had
Did you say it as a joke ? What about Jerry Goldsmiths scores for Star Trek etc , John Barry’s scores, John Williams scores , the list is endless!
@@Elmer-hf1je Don't forget James Horner and his score for "Stealing The Enterprise"
"Like an IRA, or some shit..." Had me laughing all day.
If I could only type out the melody.
The music is so much better than that movie deserved.
what's the kelvin timeline movies? where? I never heard of them. how do you see them?
If you are serious, this is referring to the 2009 movie and Beyond from a few years later, I am pretter sure you can find them on TH-cam for rent.
The score is way and above the major redeeming feature of the Kelvin triilogy
Oooooh, that’s a crap back handed slap if ever I heard one.
Fr the theme is wonderful ❤️
You are absolutely correct.
course for Vulcan laid in captain' Punch it
S Kelvin timeline show
Why do i feel like the people that hated these films hated that it's not like the ones they grew up with, they need to realize that times change.
That is a bit disingenuous. They don’t _have_ to like these films. And maybe think about whether they changed for the better or not.
You are generalizing. My Stepdad is 63, and grew up watching OG Trek. He LOVES the new movies, Your statement is irrelevant, Captain.
@@Dartanyoogles Ok, there are some people that hate these films for the previously mentioned reasons.
@@heintz256 And there are people who find these films unappealing for entirely unrelated reasons.
Nice music, poor movies.
I was really enjoying this until an add popped up in the middle of it. Get the adds out of the video. 🖖
@sharker76m13 lol, I don't control that. TH-cam itself does.
The soundtrack is the only thing worth of those three pieces of junk.

The second film, Into Darkness wasn't it? Anyway, that film was dreadful. I'm getting stomach pains just thinking about it.
