I bought an 2006 X3 in 2022 with 140k miles on it, drove it for 2 years on multiple 500+ mile trips and put 35k miles on it, and only had to replace the thermostat housing. I’d still be driving it if someone hadn’t crashed into me and totaled it. Also I did the thermostat housing myself and have no mechanical background. They’re incredibly easy cars to work on
I reconstructed the bmw x3 e83 engine it blew up , then put a new motor in and blew up again today , no error codes , best oil , 10k km oil change always. Bad Luck
Same! I miss my lexus! I had the same one and I had the car version before that the is300. Man 2 of my favorite cars ever. And I've had about 12 or 15 in my lifespan
This list is very flawed because most of the vehicles mentioned have known expensive flaws that would not make them reliable. BMW x3 has timing chain issues. The Acura has suspension issues. The Kia has engine problem issues. The Mazda cx9 has a water pump behind timing chain issues. All of them require thousands of dollars for repairs and the problems can come back. Only the Toyota's and Honda's products are reliable from this list. The Subaru may be ok but most parts are expensive just to maintain the vehicle.
YOU have to take into account-- where it's from-- you do NOT want one that spent most of it's time in states where the snow is removed with SALT.... that will rust a frame underneath out in NO TIME. FAR too expensive in repairing frame-- even if it IS possible.
Did he just rank a Saturn Outlook that has the infamous GM 3.6L motor??? The list that starts with a BMW X3. This list just lost all credibility. There are some good SUVs on here, but an Outlook, seriously?!?! Jeez…
It's hard to take this seriously when you start with a BMW. However, from personal experience, it's Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura. Subaru is expensive to repair, Mazda is worth a look but, the rest is CRAP!
Regarding the Kia …. I have to say that the particular model that has the 16 petrol engine will suffer a total engine failure at about 150.000km. They have a flaw with their pistons and they will destroy your engine. They will consume a lot of oil. If you’re lucky you will get it cheap with just oil piston rings. But the inevitable will happen.
Rx350 lexus is the best choice over Honda do to transmission will last fpr as long as you service it every 60,000 miles 4 qts ATF look on dip stick for your brand and also change filter that means dropping the pan people Okey and oil changes full synthetic oils 5000mile changes that's it later
I assure you by personal experience the 2011 Kia sportage is RELIABLE as they come. My kia sportage has 312,000 miles and is still running perfectly. And everything still works except for the fog lights. It was manufactured in Korea, too. They definitely this one, right?
Can I just add that repairs and maintenance on luxury makes like BMW Lexus Acura and Infiniti are much more expensive. I have owned a Lexus and a MB, no more!
2010 foresters have had head gasket issues. Including mine with 81k miles and 16 oil changes during those miles driven. Subaru service told me I did not drive the vehicle enough in the 11 years of ownership. Really? Are you serious? You meticulously take care of a car that is in better than excellent condition inside and out and are rewarded nothing but a $3400 repair bill. Shameful.
Ant Nissan or Infiniti is an unreliable money pit especially due to the Jatco CVT transmission, the worst in the market. Only the Altima is worse. What a shame, since when they were Datsun, they were outstanding vehicles. BEWARE!!!
A 14 year old beemer has rarely been a wise choice for a used car.
EXPENSIVE PARTS AND REPAIRS FOR SURE!

Well your personal experience, a data point of 1, sure disproves the overall data then right?
buying an old cheap BMW is just asking for trouble. Pick the Rav4 or CRV
The old body style CRV is my favorite!!
I reconstructed the bmw x3 e83 engine it blew up , then put a new motor in and blew up again today , no error codes , best oil , 10k km oil change always. Bad Luck
@@13grams x3 has engine defects up to F25 2015 facelift. Not worth repairing anything older, it will just blow again. B code engines are good
💯 I would never buy a bmw lol!
Or even Mazda and Subaru are very good
I have a 2009 RX350. Never thought i wanted a Lexus till i had one, love it
Do you think the Rx330 is also a good SUV?
yes i do@@lexydgreat
@@lexydgreatYes, it's one of the most reliable vehicles you can buy. Change the oil and they will last 300,000+ miles.

@@lexydgreatmy coworker had one of these cars it had over 180,000 miles the only thing he did to the car was regular maintenance. Amazing car
Good luck getting RAV4, Subaru, Acura or RX350 for under $ 10,000.
BMW and reliability don't mix. In fact, I don't think the word reliability exist in German.
I totally agree with u... luxury and very smooth driving but not Liable..
They made the most reliable cars few years ago, i think reliable exist in germany, more than usa
Bavarian Money Waster
…
Sadly the West has ruined that country as well.
Kia spotage 2011 - How can the seat be hard.... But offer a comfortable experience?
I have an 09 infiniti fx50S with 287k miles on it, and it's still running strong so I'd say it's rather reliable.
Good to know. There's a used one near me I was thinking of picking up
terrible advice, starting off a video like this with a bmw has to be some form of satire

You lost all credibility at BMW
It is at the bottom of the list though..😅

I just got a 2010 Forester, love it.

Damn you can't just go by JD Power, they have been known to take a payment.
One other note: isn’t JD Power a marketing company? It’s not like they are consumer reports or something.

He says RDX but its showing a MDX, kinda confusing
No way BMW or Saturn (GM) both unreliable
My pick is the 2010 Acura RDX as the best choice..
Have pics of a MDX.
2007 4Runner Sport Edition is my choice
For under $10K😳
I pick a used Lexus SUV :)😊
Toyota Land cruiser
Under $10K lol
That is a super highlander!
Is the orange SUV in the thumbnail just a render or a real car?

My aunt had a forester that I borrowed for a trip, fucking loved thst thing!
I can cruise at 80 mph on the HWY and feels like nothing. It is while.
any but BMW ( Break My Wallet)
What about USA Ford Edge??

Is mitsubishi asx ok?
I have a 2019 Kia Sportage and it's luxurious you have apple car play and Android auto
Tell me about the Lincoln Nautilus please. Does anyone out there have one?
The deals are out there I bought a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 57000 original miles very clean for $7,000
Crv is the best
Tell you right now, don't buy a Saturn Outlook. They're GM products, same as the Acadia... terrible.
I saw a crash test on the Kia and it folded up like someone stepping on a coke can so you're wrong on the true safety of it
Why does he sound like a youtube robot?
A bought a used 525 bmw and was trash don’t buy a bmw used save your $ go Toyo or Honda
Used car? You cant go wrong with the japanese.
I have a2010 rav4 dependable but ride is not good
Showing a MDX while talking about the RDX-This is where I stop watching...
They put an olde BMW on this list???? Only a fool would by that money pit. Nothing but expensive problems every few months.
I miss my lexus rx350.. waahhhh😢
I was told BMW washing dollar junk
It's.
Lexus.
X3 ? Who says that?
I would definitely leave the Saturn alone.. engine is terrible and it’s very expensive
Wow-lost credibility with their #10 pick....
How the hello did BMW garbage is on this list...sponsored?
Im off.. Starting with bmw only means this vid is just bs
bmw lol..enjoy those maint costs kia you got to be joking should have said small suv's or car suv's
