And off course her daughter, Wendi....Wendi started all of this and Charlie ended it. Donna and Harvey were definitely involved as well. B/c Charlie also had conversations with Harvey about the murder.

Sarah did a great job laying the facts out for the jury. I feel like Raus bomb is working for the state. He seems to be throwing Charlie, his own client, under the bus with every statement he makes. Not that Charlie is innocent by any means...the defense so far is totally absurd.

Katie was used like a Pawn as well as the other men in Katie's life. Charlie saw her vulnerability and used her and them. They are GUILTY TOO, but if not for Charlie and his Despicable family, Dan would not have been murdered in cold blood nor would these other 3 players even have known how to access Dan to do so. Imo, the money was paid the following day because the victim didn´t die instantly. They coldly waited until Dan Markel´s confirmed death to pay.
Miss Dugan is awesome. A calm, sharp, unflappable courtroom presence just like Miss Georgia Cappleman. They buried Charlie and his smug condescending attitude. Great trial and hopefully Donna and her little Actress (Wendi) both are tried and convicted and spend the rest of their lives behind bars. Dan and his parents deserve full justice!

A woman would’ve noticed a car following them, it’s ingrained in us for survival. If a car takes the same three turns as I do, I’m paying attention. Im not saying something will happen but I’m paying attention and planning. I think men need to start thinking this way too. Better safe than sorry. RIP Dan.

The prosecutor's opening statement shed a light on this case for me; she did an outstanding job in her opening statement.
Law enforcement (investigation) deserves a lot of credit for breaking this case.

I have been following this interesting case for sometime now. Yes, for sure Prof. Dan Markel deserves justice. And it's very evident the whole Adelson family is involved. But thinking about Charles Adelson for a moment...he went so far for this sister...not for himself..what he did is definitely wrong but not selfish...something makes me think he is antihero

I think she did a very precise and organized opening statements. Lots of players and stuff has been going on almost 10 years now. Alpt to fit in in 52 minutes without the jury getting confused
On what are you basing your opinion?
Unimpressive opening by the State. The case screams for visuals to show the jury right away - a cast of characters chart with names and pictures and a timeline. Select juicy wiretapped quotes from Charlie and his mom and Katy. Jurors now expect to see and hear things, not just be told about them. C minus at best. I am ten minutes in and she has not pointed to much less emphasized a single action by Charlie. It's not a soap opera about the divorce. What relevance is it that Wendi changed the kids' names to Adelson? That would be her name thereafter, and it's awkward for kids to names different than their mother. Prosecutor keeps talking about him having "looked into hiring a hitman," but I think the evidence will show he just said "I could have hired a hitman, but a TV was cheaper." It's a critically important distinction.
You expecting Tom Cruise and Demi Moore to deliver the opening statement? This is reality, not Hollywood. She did a great job. Clear, concise presentation of facts and a simple narrative for jurors to follow. What more do you need?
