Nice choice with Lord of the Flies, the kid acting can come off as kind of choppy but I think it actually helps the movie feel more realistic, the movie has a documentary feel to it too and has some genuinely unsettling moments
Fun video! You gotta check out War and Peace. It's one of my favorite Criterions and movies ever. I recommend watching it like you would Lord of the Rings. It's divided in 4 parts and each part is on separate discs. It also comes with a pretty cool poster.

Straw Dogs was honestly a bit disappointing when you compare it to the reputation that surrounds it. It was not that controversial. I don’t understand why it’s never on streaming services.

It's a funny and light hearted western starring Jason Robards (who was Cheyenne in Once Upon a Time in the West). By the way, I prefer James Stewart over Cary Grant as well. I don't dislike Grant but Stewart is more relatable to me. Keep up the good content.
