Your joy is contagious. You fellas really crack me up! I am looking forward to seeing what treasures you find NOW (it's November 4th as I write this). Have a blast!😺
I was already excited when I saw this video posted RIGHT AFTER getting home from my final B&N run for the sale. Then to see you all jamming out to "tick, tick... BOOM!"! My life is complete now:)
Straw Dogs was honestly a bit disappointing when you compare it to the reputation that surrounds it. It was not that controversial. I don’t understand why it’s never on streaming services.
Nice choice with Lord of the Flies, the kid acting can come off as kind of choppy but I think it actually helps the movie feel more realistic, the movie has a documentary feel to it too and has some genuinely unsettling moments
Fun video! You gotta check out War and Peace. It's one of my favorite Criterions and movies ever. I recommend watching it like you would Lord of the Rings. It's divided in 4 parts and each part is on separate discs. It also comes with a pretty cool poster.
@@maplestreetmovies she’s in the US version. Haven’t seen that one yet. The criterion one was made in Russia, in response to the one with Audrey Hepburn. Russians wanted to be taken seriously with their cinema. It’s a masterpiece, but it is very heavy and dark like the book
Fun video. If you're looking for any Sam Peckinpah films to watch check out The Ballad of Cable of Hogue. It's a funny and light hearted western starring Jason Robards (who was Cheyenne in Once Upon a Time in the West). By the way, I prefer James Stewart over Cary Grant as well. I don't dislike Grant but Stewart is more relatable to me. Keep up the good content.
@@maplestreetmovies I thought you looked about my height lol. Finishing up watching Anatomy Of A Murder which I picked up the other day. Really good movie if you haven't seen it yet.
This was a blast from beginning to end! Glad to see all these faces together and with some good pickups too!
Haha thank you Nathan!!
Who’s that beautiful handsome dude with the criterion logo t-shirt??? 👀👀👀
?
Your comedic editing style is hilarious. I love it!
Lol thank you!
Great great hauls by all three of you guys! I laughed out loud at the handshake freeze frame with the Full House theme song played behind it 😂
HAHAHA thanks Dawson!!

Glad to see you back in the haul season with some guests! Great pickups all in all. Would love to hear your thoughts on M when you get to finish it.
Thanks Bill! Absolutely, I plan to watch it soon!

I’ve since watched it and completely agree. I think the main 3 kids did the best, but everyone else was not great 😂
It looks like you have the whole criterion section of the store to yourself. There’s nobody around
Great picks here ^_^ also that first shot in the beginning cracked me up 😆
*Bernardo gets 16 titles*

Doesn’t it have Audrey Hepburn too? Or is that a different version?

This is the best haul video I have ever seen.

M is an amazing German movie classic. I actually bought it on B&N last week.
Lots of pickups! Great vid gang!
Oh man! I gotta join one of these Criterion Sales in Barnes & Noble
Absolutely man!! Then I won’t look so tall 😂 in fact, I’ll look short 😂😂
@@maplestreetmovies Hahaha. Dude, I went to Barnes & Noble once and it was unbelievable
@@BrandoCritic it’s my fav store 😂
Limelight is a masterpiece. I'd actaully say it's Chaplins best film
