Dedicated mid level invasion build.
Vigor gouge status effect using Antspur rapier, Pulley Crossbow and sudoku weapon art, bleed and scarlet rot go well together.
Absolutely fair and balanced and if you cannot grasp sarcasm well, not my problem.
Bleed is pretty decent uh.

Hoarfrost stomp, the bleed spin weapon, moonveil , rotten breath, I see nothing else lately.
The worst part of Hoarfrost stomp is that there are many times the effect is invisible. So I'll see a dude stomp, and I'm just passively taking damage and frostbite :/

@@epsorks They said "step" as in the weapon art. You can put it on any normal weapon and it's ridiculously overpowered on a lot of them.
Ironically, as bleed is a flat amount + max HP%, bleed can technically discourage vigor leveling, as it technically will hurt less on lower vigor characters than it will high vigor.
Yea bleed is disgustingly powerful. In pvp all you see is dudes running with double katanas. Dex weapons basically deal the same dmg as Str weapons, but they are faster and there is not much commitment to an attack + bleed
That and even if they avoid the hit, they can still get clipped by the status build-up. With how easy it is to one hit status people in ER combined with straight-up broken statuses like Madness I'm amazed that old bug is still a thing.

A good way to (partially) fix bleed would be make it similar to frostbite and give the player a debuff that prevents them from getting bled again when it's active, so people are not bled multiple times in 5 seconds, but fromsoft is never going to do that. (At least not again, R.I.P DS2)

Try sleep into that frenzy incantation that grabs players. Its a guarantee 1 shot i think.
Edit: only on some testing so not verified fully. If you have over 100 poise i think you can take smaller weapons hit and still grab a player without using sleep

If you use Seppuku on your right hand weapon, and left-hand the crossbow all bolts will have bleed buildup. It may be patched in the future, but right now it's a thing. I imagine bleed bolts stack with it.

What starting class did you use to get those stats at level 50? And are you using radagons soreseal or scarseal?
Imagine invading people at level 50 with end game weapons, bleed meta, and saying they should level vigor for balance lol

i have +4 somber weapons and + 6 smithing stone weapons on my lv 50 invader- should i go higher? should i go + 8 on smithing stone weapons?
Your +4 somber is good, but it's important to remember that somber weapons go to +10 while normal smithing stone weapons go all the way to +25. For that reason, each somber upgrade counts as 2.5 smithing stones, which means you'd actually be safe leveling to +10 on your smithers.

There are bleed arrows but as long as your seppuku buff is active even normal ammunitions will cause bleed
did you play into ng+ to get 2 of those rapiers? also a little more time to read the ring slots would have been great at the end, thanks for the build tho it will prolly be nerfed

@@ohlookitsethan Not really true. Bleed is overtuned in general, and as shown in the video, the range of dragon magic is pretty ridiculous. But nothing quite as obnoxious as moonveil and hoarfrost though.
Isn’t Soreseal only optimal for sub 40 vigor? The damage negation debuff is too large for the diminishing returns on health investment

is level 50 liurnia your favourite place to invade? Just wondering what level to aim for with my invader character. Seems like a pretty fun area for it. Invading caria manor with all those giant hands sounds deliciously evil.
I have a character at level 50 +3 somber equipment and Caria Manor is actually where I get invasions the most and quickest usually. I'm running fury burst and a concealing veil so I usually get the high ground and try to snipe people from the top. I still like Raya Lucaria academy a little more overall because its sometimes hard to find the host at Caria Manor.

Yea that garden with tons of spider hands is basically a graveyard for the hosts. Just keep interrupting the phantoms and the handy bois will finish the job for you.

I have a dumb question, why do the enemies ignore you? Just wondering since I faintly remember that it was a thing in darksouls 3 (pvp specifically) but I'm not exactly sure if elden ring has that feature.

@@KegTamashii Jup its on by default. I play a lot of coop with my friends (dont like pvp because the meta is weird at the moment) and one of the giant dragons completely ignored the invader
@@andrewipprecht6458 yeah the meta (and the pvp hackers that can potentially fuck with the victims progress at best and at worst can cause someone to get banned for no reason) are some of my top reasons why I refrain from pvp.

I imagine people aren't putting as much into vigor because of how weapon upgrades work. You really have to invest into those offense stats to deal efficient damage since one upgrade doesn't really do shit beyond adding 1 extra point to your damage. If you can avoid getting hit, its just kind of the way to go :/
I made a build that is at lvl 39 while my vigor is at least 25, and invaders (I will admit, they're all just twinks) are stomping me while I barely tickle them since I sacrificed damage for health, and currently it doesn't seem to be paying off. Maybe I did something wrong though, idk
Scaling on lower upgrade weapons in the first half of the game is so awful that the correct thing to do is pretty much the opposite. Level vigor first because that's ALWAYS useful, then at the higher levels when scaling starts to become worth it you can invest more into damage stats.
So you're telling me that upgrading your weapon doesn't add substantial damage? Yeah, you're playing a different game then. If you want to do a lower level build, you just need base str/dex stats to use the weapon, and put everything else on vigor/mind/endurance, depending on what kind of build it is. Upgrading your weapon is everything in this game.
You finding mid level invasions more fun than your later level invasions?
Well they are easier... I find best pvp is going solo using tongue to get invaders into your world. That way you pvp entirely with other people who want to pvp. Bullying PvE players gets boring.

speaking of leveling vigor, these players with 400-500 hp have to have like 8-15 vigor. they literally aren't leveling it at all lmfao.
Basically, poise needs to be heavily nerfed for smaller, quicker weapons. Or give heavy armor hefty strength reqs, idk

Those are the type of people that cry the game is unfair.
and this is why pvp its going to be boring if people dont take the hint and play it at higher level than before, at level 50 most people dont have the damage to make significant damage to you with 43 vigor and now it scales till 80, and each level gives you defense, so 80 vigor 80 end and the rest to the of the build unchanged and at level 120-130 you simply cannot be killed, spam states and techniches and you win if the other guy doesnt have the same vigor as you, if the pvp scene remains at 120 everyone will play the same builds, because playing anything else than pure vigor would be ineffective in pvp.
i feel like at lvl 160~200 would be conductive of a more vaired meta, at level 120 meta its vigor, everything else you put on the requirements of your weapon of choice and your choice of spells, usually they overlap
120 with 45 vig working great for me , the higher you go the less build variety and larger health pools you have , for invasions 1vx etc 120 is best , for dedicated 1v1 dueling then 150+
You're insane. First off, the vigor hardcap is 60, not 80, and if you think 60 is going to be "meta" for lower levels, you're mistaken. Making a build for pvp means you HAVE to sacrifice something to use the weapons/spells/armor you want. How can you even say that "lvl 160~200 would be conductive of a more vaired meta" if at 125 you can ALREADY have 60 vigor + a lot of damage? At level 160-200 it's not even a build anymore, you're just a jack of all trades. That DS2 mentality is going to kill pvp in this game, I swear.
