K & N Engine Air Filter User Review - Honda Fit (Fits years 2015-2019)

I review an after market engine air filter by K & N for my 2016 Honda fit. I go over the benefits and how it performed over the last month.

Thank you for your review! On a import car years ago of mine that had reached around 85K plus mileage, after I had the throttle body cleaned, iridium spark plugs installed, and had put in a K & N reuseable high flow air filter, even my mechanic complimented the pickup that it had gained! Knowing that I currently needed a car, my loving Sis outright gave me her 2nd car, a 2019 Honda Fit LX automatic, in excellent condition, with 31K miles on it. I plan to do the same 3 things to my Fit: have the throttle body cleaned, install recommended iridium spark plugs, and put in a K & N reuseable high-flow air filter. Your positive review was what I needed to hear!

I love it. I have 2018 Honda Fit EX. It does help with acceleration, great on highway.

I had one for a little bit. Nice to have. Takes the glare off the windshield. But it was a dust collector and needed to be vacuumed often. Not for me.

If you need a install video for a drop in filter you shouldn't be in your engine bay lol.

Are you worried about damaging the Mass airflow sensor? Supposedly the oil in the filters can get into heated element, and fry it.

I read up on that and k and n fully stand behind there product and have zero proven cases of the oil frying the sensor. Issues can arise if cleaned and oiled incorrectly.

50k miles!! Going strong 💪 might sell soon since I no longer commute to work though.
