On a import car years ago of mine that had reached around 85K plus mileage, after I had the throttle body cleaned, iridium spark plugs installed, and had put in a K & N reuseable high flow air filter, even my mechanic complimented the pickup that it had gained! Knowing that I currently needed a car, my loving Sis outright gave me her 2nd car, a 2019 Honda Fit LX automatic, in excellent condition, with 31K miles on it. I plan to do the same 3 things to my Fit: have the throttle body cleaned, install recommended iridium spark plugs, and put in a K & N reuseable high-flow air filter. Your positive review was what I needed to hear!

I bought the "sport" one in the UK back at the end of 2018. All was well for just over 4 years. It was an okay drive. Nothing special . Bit noisy at 70 MPH (112kmh). Infotainment system was just about passable. Fuel economy was okay, and it's party trick is that it's quite spacious, with the magic seats. But at just over 4 years old, then my low pressure fuel pump went wrong. In the USA they had a recall for I'm pretty sure the same model as my one . However Honda UK seems to apparently think that my car was not affected by the major batch of faulty Denso fuel pumps. So I've got a £1200 bill spread over a few garage visits whilst the fault was trying to be found. It's really easy to find that there was a massive recall of 700,000 Honda vehicles around the age of my one about Denso low pressure fuel pump failures, but somehow I magically never got one of those, but my fuel pump has gone wrong. Honda UK are being really useless. I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy another Honda car or motorcycle EVER EVER EVER again. Things go wrong sometimes, but Honda UKs abysmal response to me has meant I can never ever trust Honda again.

RIP 2020. The CR-Vs are going to be the new fits.

Starting around 2018 or so they added thicker glass. I think replaced the tempered glass with safety glass. This reduces wind noise. Along with some extra sound insulation, reduces interior noise. Added an electronic control to the electric power steering to compensate for oversteer.

I'll bet if you had to replace that car, you'd have a real fit!

Nice video, just bought a 2020 Sport Fit want to change to K&N, one of the first things I do when I get a new car.... I have used K&N filters for over 20 years now.

I love it. I have 2018 Honda Fit EX. It does help with acceleration, great on highway.

Is it not possible to record an entire journey instead of a maximum of 5 minutes?

I have the same car 70k plus miles, the car always have a delayed acceleration takes almost a second to switch gears from reverse to drive, also when driving if you slow down and want to pick up speed again quickly feels like the transmission gets stuck on a high gear and the car simply won't respond in unexpected situations. I was never happy with this car. I wish had a manual transmission.

Nice car man

The 19 are nice, when in to test drive and buy a 19 .. ended leaving with a 13 sport. Saved 10k almost but these cars are fun to drive and spacious. I was coming from an acura tsx wagon .

I really want to get a 2018-2019 Sport model as a daily commuter for work, but I can't justify the purchase seeing that where I live (MA), the snow or a front wheel drive would not work out well.

The installation is nothing to it setting it up take 5 minutes ,what this guy have lie about is the night vision , he did not show how it looks in actual dark, he said the night vision is good , actually if you look at that electric poll you see the polls sun shadow , this means the video was shut in the evening at sundown not in dark , so night vision may be good or maybe not this video dose not prove ether way it.

Are you worried about damaging the Mass airflow sensor? Supposedly the oil in the filters can get into heated element, and fry it.

Well put together. If you need a install video for a drop in filter you shouldn't be in your engine bay lol.
