Mate, honestly, among all the youtubers reviewing boats on here...I really appreciate the additional info you provide, especially the financial aspects. Makes real-life considerations so much easier. and then there is the added comedy value. I just wish you would put out more vids, or include different type of boats as well, or maybe the occasional powercat. Thank you for the video!
OMG!! Who would have thought viewers would be interested in Cost Analysis!! Let's hope this becomes a new trend. Great Tour info and some beautiful & functional Yacht Options..
Another informative tour james of a stunning pearl 62, which is in absolutely incredible condition, with plenty of extras included. The new sound system is perfect and the boat is a lovely example of quality kept in tip top condition by the present owner james.
Remarkable boat for just 62 feet. Not sure about some of the woodwork, a little too 'farmhouse chic' for my liking but I'm sure I'd find an option to my own liking.
Oh JB, you’re an absolute gem. Love your videos mate. What a character! You should be on the telly! Your’s is my new favourite channel. From, “Oi, get the fenders in!”, to your wonderful socks! If I am ever going to spend my lump sum on a boat, I’m coming to you mate. My beautiful wife will probably come too but she’ll be armed and dangerous - my pension isn’t that big! What a horrible life you have, swanning about on boats like this! How do you sleep at night. Seriously though, what a great life. I’m very jealous. The information you provide is a great insight into boat ownership. Nobody does it better. Isn’t that a Bond-movie song...? Suits you, sir. Best wishes, from the Giant’s Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland. 😄👍☘️
Nice boat James and a great presentation as always. I do feel that the side running structural beams spoil the visibility on both sides .The cockpit seating is old fashioned as most new boats have the seating facing the sea with a clear view ..Not having a helm door access is a big no no for me .. I am a big fan of Pearl 95 though .. Over all I think Pearl is definitely trying hard to compete with the other manufacturers in terms of interiors and space utilisation ..
Hi James 👋 I must be honest..... I usually go to bed with you 😂 and watch on the big telly upstairs!!! Only problem with this, no "buttons" on the screen. So I've not been able to subscribe ( tech isn't my thing 🤦♂️) However..... today this video came up as a suggestion on my phone. 😊 I'm now subscribed and look forward to many more of your fantastic and informative videos 👍 So please keep them coming and for the 'dreamers' like me, please include as many sea trials as possible 🙏 Its amazing to see these beautiful boats either hooning across the sea or at anchor in a picturesque bay 🛥💕 Thank you once again for your amazing channel All the best Russ
I have to say, of all things that struck me about the boat the interior doors were my favorite part. Lovely yacht, I am sure the new owner will be very pleased.
You have a very unique way to present a boat (strange... but interesting). I like it. One thing I noticed.... and I think I've heard this from another popular British TH-camr, so maybe it's a regional thing.... is you said the mast/radar was "color-coded". I think of wiring or lines painted on a floor as "color-coded," as in different colors are for different things. The mast and radar are "color matched," as in they are painted to match other areas of the boat. It's OK.... calling a single bathroom a "heads" (plural) is more annoying, and I've learned to live with that 😂.
Yeah....we knew those socks were fair game. As for the Pearl, I thought she looked a treat. Absolutely gobs of room and full of light. However, you demo'd a way to use floss I've never seen before.
Seriously James..... that's the worst shout window yet! The Caribbean 27 fly (Aussie stalwart classic) has a better shout window than that...... hilarious. I do hope there's a washer/dryer on board for those socks and that towel...... :) Cheers S
James, I'm not sure the header picture was the best one; looked like you had a double helping of beans for breakfast. Lovely anchorage. It is a nice boat, but my pocket money wont cover it I'm afraid. Bilge pump running on the port side?. Being a hot day, do you think you were getting a subtle hint, ie : sock odour as you were lowered into the water on the platform. Terrible, the colour could have run, stained the Flexi Teak.
@@Boatscouk It's an easy 35 - 40hrs I do it all the time haha. Keep up the good work. I loved that Sunseeker Superhawk 50 you did with the triple motors. What I would do to be kicking off rooster tails in that on a summers day.
How can you say the boat isn't fun? It has a garage which carries toys, which equals fun. It has 4 cabins and sleeps 8, maybe 10 people if you use that dining table as a bed, but still...8 people is fun, a barbecue amd fridge on the flybridge..fun. good sized galley so that's fun. Carries a good sized tender instead of a dinky flappy tender and that's fun. It may not be a boat you hoon around on, but you cruise in comfort and safety and that is fun.
I think you forgot to disable the terrain avoidance feature on your 'broom'. That's why it wouldn't fly through the bridge. Just not the same since Higwart's started buying their brooms from Kazakhstan.
Great video, lovely boat and honesty re the costs etc. Would have liked to know if the twin beds can move or not (im not a boat user yet but am certain only 1 room needs to be twin). I'm sure the age group of owners would not have small kids, more likely to be young adults with partners. I never understand why many boats have so many twin rooms. Anyway, great to see you, nice surprise, look forward to the next one.
Absolutely top notch again , thank you for the informative video , lm going to give you a call if my numbers 🎉pop up tomorrows 😂as l reckon l need it as a tender to the mother craft ow and one of those broom sticks 😅
so now we know. if you want to run/own a boat like this you need a net income of at least half a mill per annum or have a net worth of around 4 million plus say 250k per annum income. so for me im about 3.99 mill off the networth and 190k per annum of the income. BALLS!!!!
James!!! Have you learned nothing yet??!! Unfortunately it is an irreversible truth - a ‘fact of life’ if you will…. that; if you wear socks much above the ankle with shorts (and are not German) you WILL be punished in this life and/or the next. Take your dunking as a warning and make amends!! (Cheers for the great vid BTW).

Lovely to see you back James's lottery ticket bought. Let hope. 😂

Ah thanks Russ. Another sea test coming this week - super special on Friday 🥳

Yes fair point on thumbnail . Love wet socks 😂
this is a fanastic boat, fanastic video, love the fact you are brave and say how much it costs to run.
🙏
Love your videos, I agree with you, no need to open every bloody cupboard on a tour! I'll e-mail you as soon as I win that euro millions! 🤣

Brand new as well !

It’s good fun but it’s a big cruiser so it’s not max fun - no cruiser is (for handling) 😍

The Silver Fox
😂
Can you show how seakeeper works
Yes I will add to next weeks video
@Boatscouk look forward to seeing that cheers
Pearl look interesting for a first boat. I'll be watching them a little more closely, maybe dip my toe in the water like you ;-)
😂
Why is the yacht listing to port ?
Because of me probably 😂
How much did it cost new
About £2m I think
How do they make it so expensive???
Hand built - low numbers
Absolutely top notch again , thank you for the informative video , lm going to give you a call if my numbers 🎉pop up tomorrows 😂as l reckon l need it as a tender to the mother craft ow and one of those broom sticks 😅

Sweaty Potter 😂
😂😂😂 gold !
Comedy 10/10.😅
😆
if someone told me the berth price was 18500. i would ask them to lay of the drugs.and then trow them in the sea 😂😂
so now we know. if you want to run/own a boat like this you need a net income of at least half a mill per annum or have a net worth of around 4 million plus say 250k per annum income.

Yes buts it’s priceless really 😉
Does Pearl pass the discount of being built in China to the customer?
Unfortunately no door at helm or window that opens is just a bad design it should always be function over design … so that’s a big no no
I am sure it’s an option

Terrible boat design no side door no practical window shout or otherwise boats that size are supposed to practical not inconvenient
