Here is a cheeky speed build as part of Let's Build THE WORLDS, Brindleton Bay. I decided on building some apartments that are in a converted mine. We'll furnish these in Let's Builds and then I'll get it on the Sims 4 Gallery. ENJOY!

I honestly can’t wait to see what sims you end up making for the apartments. And unlike council block we can call these apartments without correcting ourselfs to flats 😂

I really wish there was a way to build actual apartments and set spaces for the units so you didn’t have to worry about other sims coming into your space or worry about the sim count. Hotels or resorts would be a lot of fun too, I hope we eventually get a pack like that.

I love your thought process with making the connective corridors look less permanent! That’s actually an important part of the historic preservation standards in the city I work for. We want to be sure that if someone in the future wants to “undo” the modern adaptations that they can do so easily and that the contributing (ie key/important) features aren’t permanently impacted by the alterations.
My first thought was throwing it back to the council block days! So excited to see the sims that are going to live here!
I love this concept with half speed build and half let’s build the world with cas thrown in.
when you said that they maybe have a little weapon behid the desk to bonk anyone that tries to nick a biscuit i couldnt stop laughing 🤣
I love the carpark, just that one planter box tree is kinda blocking the grey car 😅. Would love to live in a place like this. Your build and decor style is so nice, Aden. I am currently in that sims lull where you don't want to play at all but with lovely builds like this, Harrie & Felix's new pack, and I suppooooose the official packs as well, I am tempted to boot my game up again. Stay cool!

Gorgeous! You're honestly the absolute best at creating a fusion of "old, a little dilapidated and now repurposed" with "modern, sleek and minimal, but still warm". You keep the character of the "original" building and change it and add to it respectfully and always with the new purpose of the building in mind. I love everything about this so far and can't wait to see the sims you want to move in here and how you give their apartments personalities! It's also refreshing to see someone use objects so beautifully that I hardly even look at. I could never build like you.
I loved to envision blue with his own personal fan might need to get one for my dogs

So happy you uploaded this speedbuild ahead of schedule!! Also would love to see another mining cottage build like 1-3 Penny Lane in Windenburg to tie in some lore/history from when this copper mine was active! Super into the idea of lore crossover between the worlds!!!
This is gorgeous. I completely agree with you about loving the look of really industrial spaces with a lot of plants. I can’t wait to meet the characters you plan on moving in. I wish I could live there

Even during WW2, Cornwall had a lot of tin mines on the go, my grandfather worked in one for the war effort.

Haha, love your: ignore this, ignore that. But you still keep it in and I think that's very important. Just letting us be a part of your progress and seeing that it's okay to always try different things and see what works out and what doesn't. Not only in the Sims but in general, especially in a world that somehow likes to strive for perfectionism... and why am I getting so deep? 😂

I feel you on the weather being too damn hot in Britain right now, because of course I chose this week (and next week) to go on holiday to Britain.... I'm tired 24/7 because of this heat and honestly it's kinda ruining what is supposed to be a relaxing holiday with hikes and cultural experiences... Bloody global warming 😒

Just had a thought for your mic, have you tried using the Nvidia Broadcast software?! I believe the new Elgato update also has the same things embedded in where there is audio things you can stick on to help remove sound in the background etc
i love this and honestly wish i lived here myself!!! i noticed that one of the cars (the silver one) looks like it might be blocked in by the potted tree that's behind it. obviously this doesn't actually matter b/c Sims but regardless :)
South Wales produced the most in the world in the late 18th c also!
