I told you I would get a speed build up and here it is! Seaview Cottage is a 4 bedroom family home on a 40x30 lot on Windenburg Island! Hope you like it and have the best weekend m'dears, see you on Monday!

This would be AMAZING! I love touring houses other places but to see ones in another country would be great, especially if we get speed builds later! But just seeing them would be cool!

I completely agree Madeleine! I would love to see how Aden recreates real-life buildings into the Sims! It's one of my favourite things to do too, I feel like any time I see a building that I love, I immediately want to build it in the Sims!

Hello Aden! Love this build so much. ❤️ What's making the table unusable outside are those rounded stone walls. I've had that problem with those objects as well, even if they were from debug. Their footprints are quite huge and cover a large area making the objects within them unusable. Hopefully this comment helps! Looking forward to all the content you'll be creating as well! ☺️

Oh maybe on your week off we could do a shell challenge or cas challenge. So we can either build in a shell you created, or using a base sim create a character for the world. The we can maybe have a video touring them. Just an idea 😇

I love the idea of filming the houses and reproducing them in the game it will be unique and so pleasurable to see it. You’re incredibly talented and I'm sure it will be perfect. I’m up visiting my gran in a place called portmahomack it’s about 5 hours north of Glasgow where I’m from and this just looks like all the houses round here 🙌🏼

Have such a lovely camping trip. I haven't watched your videos in a while (too busy with uni and just playing) but my god have I missed them! And you MUST do your idea of vlogging those beautiful homes then building them. I would die, and many of us will be stuck for a long time without travelling (I'm in Australia) so we can live vicariously through you.

Yes on the stately homes ideas! I mis going through them dearly. He little details like window locks and doorknobs and the beautiful fireplaces (good luck with those, I struggle with them a lot in sims).

Love the idea of a vlog/build series, there are some beautiful National Trust properties in the West Country. Also love love love this cottage! Ive downloaded it and plopped in on the 64x64 lot in Brindleton bay so I can build up a working farm around it.
Sign me up for some casual vlogs around a couple of historical houses!☺️All I would recommend to film or photograph for professional reasons in National Trust and English Heritage sites is to get in touch with the individual property team at the properties you want to visit. Quite often the property teams are happy to help and will recommend where best to film on their sites.Also, a lot of houses and museums have reopened since the 17th May. Only the smaller properties that are stuck for social distancing are still closed.
The vlog and build sounds like a fantastic idea as my ancestors originated in that area. Yes Yes Yes do it. I would love to build a world using all your Southern builds and put my own families in.

Devon, Cornwall & Dorset. Beautiful part of the UK. Being a Dorset girl (Poole) originally I get the Devonvibes as they are very similar. Nice little zoo around your way in Dartmoor - remember bringing my son there when he was little. I'm not a fan of zoos per se but the one there they really did look like they cared for the animals. Had a friend who worked there at the prison! Love the idea of visiting some of the stately homes and then building them in game. I have done similar with some Hungarian buildings - National museum, Déri museum, national library etc. It's great seeing familiar buildings in game.

About the cottage kitchen cabinets, I always like to pair them with the parenthood cabinets as some of the swatches match quite well to fix the fact that the smaller cabinets are just a dish rack 🙌

I love the idea of vlog then build! I always see houses and think that'd be so fun to build in the sims. Especially because imagination is needed to create an interior and maybe even family who live there

I think it's a great idea! Maybe that will even inspire someone to buy/renovate/live in these so they are no longer abandoned 💚 it's really sad seeing ruined houses (first of all somebody lived there and now the house is dying as they moved on, and second of all there's many people with no homes or cramped in tiny flats as they can't afford a better place so it's just such a waste) 💚🐈

Lovely build. I like the idea of the historic builds. You did something of the sort with your series that included the Borley Rectory (?) and a castle and an old inn. You showed the original and then built something similar. Without CC, there are many things that just cannot be reproduced. I think that would be a lot of fun. So would the Hensely on Bagley world. Love your characters. The restrictions are for those playing on their phones.
YES PLEASE! I'm still homebound because my country's govt thoroughly fucked up with COVID. I don't watch vlogs but I would love to watch yours. (But if you guys want to enjoy your holiday it's okay as well!) Just saying I would def watch it.

Realistic cottages are so difficult to build in the Sims because they have such a basic shape and derive their charm from small irregularities and details around windows and such - which are hard to imitate in the game. You, however, somehow make it work!
I think I can also help you with your table problem on the outside: If I remember correctly, the curved debug wall that you used for some reason blocks its whole footprint (a square), even though the other pieces do not. The best work around is probably enabling the grid, going to the basement level and placing the wall piece there (without placing a room), then lifting it up until it sits on the ground level. It will still have the correct outside lighting, but it may look strange in lamplight, as it's technically not on the same level as the surrounding objects. The footprint issue will not be happening then, however. Really hope that helps!

great build! reminds me of some cottages in Somerset/Devon although a lot bigger :) would also love to see some birdseye screenshots at the end for a better idea of the floorplan
