[Part 34] Sword of Heaven & Earth - Ch24. The Game Wants Me to Warp Skip

- Sword of Heaven & Earth (often abbreviated as SoHaE/SOHAE), is an FE7J hack by 38%. This is a [complete] hack released in Japan in 2016, taking place in the world of Elibe. Meant to be thought of as a parallel universe using Elibe as a backdrop, this game follows the story of Saya as she starts out her journey in Sacae. The hack has a very traditional FE feel to it, and I'm excited to show this off and preserve through this LP.

We're in the endgame now. LTC strats abound when Tsagaan and Gim are stuck doing everything.
We take on the Black Dragon. Normally the Paladin Morph from chapter 13 would return alongside Tsas, but because you warpskipped neither of them loaded in. Roy shows up alongside Dayan, confirming that the Sacae route is canon in this hack. While Roy handles Zephiel and Idenn while we take care of Ninazu. We end up taking a detour to mess with Bern at a smaller fort if we decide to go to 24x.
At the very least, we get Tsas at the end, since she's supposed to appear in the upper-left corner. Finally, a solid prepromote. She's got a unique focus on Swords instead of Bows, but she can use both just fine. And she's still pretty mad at us for killing her father, but there are very clearly more pressing matters at hand than some personal beef. The rest of the hack will detail our efforts to crush Ninazu, so by God, best of luck.

@@nadnap I would hope she did, since she didn't die in this map. If not triggering her showing up results in you not recruiting her, I've never tried it so I wouldn't know.
Either way, that sucks, man. She's a decent unit.
Lol I am almost positive she didn't join unless I haven't noticed she was in my preps screen. Going to check next time i pick up the hack
That'd be quite the oversight if warpskipping prevented her from joining. FEBuilder says she's supposed to join if that cutscene with her and Saya talking plays, but it's an old hack, I wouldn't be surprised if something weird happened because of it.
I mean it's Gim and Tsagaan vs the Black Dragons and basically facing a Zephiel with relatively weak units plus a swarm of enemies with a variety of weapons, how is it supposed to be fair?
These lategame bosses are extremely beefy.
Better to be warp skipped than killed in battle, eh, Black Dragon?
So this is basically a soft lock if you don’t have a warp staff?
Beating Gilling by breaking his weapons and/or pinning him could work, too, but it won't be fun. Stay tuned for similar strats in a few days...
