In Islam, it is known that there are night prayers... where prayers are performed when most people are fast asleep... but there are those who choose to wake up in the middle of the night and pray, praying to Allah.... Usually people who are pious, who pray diligently at night... radiate from the look on their face, their actions and also their words (full of meaning) and are charismatic
There's a hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Allaah created Adam sixty cubits tall, then mankind kept getting shorter until now.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3326; Muslim, 2841). Some scholars said that each generation, humans get smaller, until the what we have now. I guess, Allah make us smaller because the early human beings have much more space on the earth, there were much less population. Now imagine 8 billions people with the size of 60 cubits tall, how big must our houses be? There won't be enough land 😅. But this is just my guess. So take it with a grain of salt.

We don't have much info about Idris AS. There is a narration indicates that Idris was raised by angels to a place off the earth, studied new knowledge, came down to earth to teach humanity that new knowledge. That happened several times. Thats how he managed to learn and teach humanity writing, farming, building, making cloths...etc. only Allah knows the truth.
It's a good idea to get the general knowledge of prophets and the messengers of Allah, once you know the basics it will get much easier for you to understand the in depth details of these prophets and the message of Allah, otherwise it remains confusing for some, asking questions like why are there so many religions and why are there so many God's and why the Idle worship and the monotheistic religions. At least you will know the answers to most of these questions and you will remain clear of confusion. And that will help you alot understand the details in depth, inshallah. The shrinking of humankind ends at the time of our Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the evidence for that in the Sunnah is the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Allāh created Adam sixty cubits tall, then mankind kept getting shorter until now.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3326; Muslim, 2841).

Regarding your question about the reason why we are downsizing and our life span is decreasing, yesterday I heard a nice explanation from a Muslim Sheikh who said that this is a mercy from Allah. Imagine with this vast technology and weapons that we have now, if we are huge, people would have made so much corruption on earth. Also, if we could live for 1000 years, many people would follow their desires for hundreds of years and forget repentance until they reach 800 or 900 years, then they would come close to Allah which will cause so much chaos in the society.
“Allah created Adam and he was sixty cubits tall. Then He said, ‘Go and greet those angels and listen to how they greet you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your progeny.’ He said, ‘Al-salamu ‘alaykum (Peace be upon you).’ They said, ‘Al-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah).’ So they added the words ‘wa rahmat Allah.’ And everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam. People kept on growing smaller until now.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 3336; Muslim, 7092) According to a version narrated by Muslim: “Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam who was sixty cubits tall. People kept growing smaller until now.” With regard to the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “People kept growing smaller until now,” al-Hafiz ibn Hajar said in Fath al-Bari (6/367): “This means that in every generation people grew shorter than the previous generation, and continued to grow shorter until the time of this ummah, then they stayed like that.”

U know, that part about the statues of Idles, is happening today in Christianity, that is why we shouldn't have statues in Churches cuz it leads to idle worshiping; An Irish woman who is now a Muslim, testified that when she was a Catholic, she used to go to her Church & kneel before the Statues of Mother Mary & Saint Peter & pray to them for blessings & favors etc.
The Length of Adam has been discussed many times among muslim scholars, the best answer I've heard and it has been adopted by many Muslims is that Adam was taller and different form that the Earthly Adam, the second best answer is that Arabs used to exaggerate to mean he was very tall but not abnormally tall. Myself I see these two answers are very logical since there is no mention of it in the Quran.
Friday بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. ١ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ 1 Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah the Sovereign, the Holy, the Almighty, the Wise. ٢ هُوَ الَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولًا مِنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ 2 It is He who sent among the unlettered a messenger from themselves; reciting His revelations to them, and purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom; although they were in obvious error before that. ٣ وَآخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ 3 And others from them, who have not yet joined them. He is the Glorious, the Wise. ٤ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ 4 That is Allah's grace, which He grants to whomever He wills. Allah is Possessor of limitless grace. ٥ مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرَاةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا ۚ بِئْسَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ 5 The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah, but then failed to uphold it, is like the donkey carrying works of literature. Miserable is the example of the people who denounce Allah's revelations. Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. ٦ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ هَادُوا إِنْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ لِلَّهِ مِنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 6 Say, "O you who follow Judaism; if you claim to be the chosen of Allah, to the exclusion of the rest of mankind, then wish for death if you are sincere." ٧ وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُ أَبَدًا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ 7 But they will not wish for it, ever, due to what their hands have advanced. Allah knows well the wrongdoers. ٨ قُلْ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ الَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مُلَاقِيكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 8 Say, "The death from which you flee will catch up with you; then you will be returned to the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will inform you of what you used to do." ٩ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 9 O you who believe! When the call is made for prayer on Congregation Day, hasten to the remembrance of Allah, and drop all business. That is better for you, if you only knew. ١٠ فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ 10 Then, when the prayer is concluded, disperse through the land, and seek Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, so that you may prosper. ١١ وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا ۚ قُلْ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ 11 Yet whenever they come across some business, or some entertainment, they scramble towards it, and leave you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than entertainment and business; and Allah is the Best of providers."
I have an example . But Allah knows better. Allah tells us to observe his creation like Pygmy hippos 🦛 and hippos and Pygmy elephant 🐘 and the elephant it has to do with ecosystem if it can support the population and size at that time the human population was low in numbers so the ecosystem supported the longevity and size and in time the population expanded and the ecosystem couldn’t support their masses size and number so gradually human diminish in size and in lifespan and grow in number to accommodate the ecosystem. If you look even closer, for example, ants 🐜 where are greater numbers, but they have a short lifespan eight months, and when the creation gets larger in size like elephant their lifespan gets longer approximately 60 to 80 years, but lower in population, ( with some exception). The big are you are the longer you live the lower the population as long as the ecosystem stable. The smaller you are shorter lifespan higher the population as long as the ecosystem is stable.
27 meters is 60 cubits. We were all giants, it's dormant now in our genes. As we increased in the world, God made us smaller. I'm guessing back in the day, you had to be powerful to survive on an earth without the softness of our current civilisation.
One narration says that Adam AS was so tall that he was distrubed by clouds so he made a dua for shortening in height so by generation people got shorter.
Quran 12:3 : We relate unto you (Muhammad SAW) the best of stories through Our Revelations unto you, of this Quran. And before this (i.e. before the coming of Divine Inspiration to you), you were among those who knew nothing about it (the Quran).
The Backbiter بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. ١ وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ 1 Woe to every slanderer backbiter. ٢ الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ 2 Who gathers wealth and counts it over. ٣ يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ 3 Thinking that his wealth has made him immortal. ٤ كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ 4 By no means. He will be thrown into the Crusher. ٥ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ 5 And what will make you realize what the Crusher is? ٦ نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ 6 Allah's kindled Fire. ٧ الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ 7 That laps to the hearts. ٨ إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ 8 It closes in on them. ٩ فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ 9 In extended columns.
This is just my view and I don’t know the answer but I think maybe in those times the first people needed to be extra tall so they could be stronger to cope with the untouched world and harsh conditions.Also there were less people and they could walk further distance so it was probably more necessary for them to be bigger than we are now.
Gathering بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. ١ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 1 Everything in the heavens and the earth praises Allah. To Him belongs the Kingdom, and to Him all praise is due, and He is Able to do all things. ٢ هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنْكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنْكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ 2 It is He who created you. Some of you are unbelievers, and some of you are believers. And Allah perceives what you do. ٣ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ 3 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He designed you, and designed you well, and to Him is the final return. ٤ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 4 He knows everything in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you reveal. And Allah knows what is within the hearts. ٥ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 5 Has the news not reached you, of those who disbelieved before? They tasted the ill consequences of their conduct, and a painful torment awaits them. ٦ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كَانَتْ تَأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا وَتَوَلَّوْا ۚ وَاسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ 6 That is because their messengers came to them with clear explanations, but they said, "Are human beings going to guide us?" So they disbelieved and turned away. But Allah is in no need. Allah is Independent and Praiseworthy. ٧ زَعَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنْ لَنْ يُبْعَثُوا ۚ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ 7 Those who disbelieve claim that they will not be resurrected. Say, "Yes indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected; then you will be informed of everything you did; and that is easy for Allah." ٨ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْنَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ 8 So believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the Light which We sent down. Allah is Aware of everything you do. ٩ يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ 9 The Day when He gathers you for the Day of Gathering-that is the Day of Mutual Exchange. Whoever believes in Allah and acts with integrity, He will remit his misdeeds, and will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme achievement. ١٠ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ 10 But as for those who disbelieve and denounce Our revelations-these are the inmates of the Fire, dwelling therein forever; and what a miserable fate! ١١ مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ 11 No disaster occurs except by Allah's leave. Whoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart. Allah is Aware of everything. ١٢ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ 12 So obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away-it is only incumbent on Our Messenger to deliver the clear message. ١٣ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ 13 Allah, there is no god but He; and in Allah let the believers put their trust. ١٤ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَادِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ ۚ وَإِنْ تَعْفُوا وَتَصْفَحُوا وَتَغْفِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 14 O you who believe! Among your spouses and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon, and overlook, and forgive-Allah is Forgiver and Merciful. ١٥ إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ 15 Your possessions and your children are a test, but with Allah is a splendid reward. ١٦ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَأَنْفِقُوا خَيْرًا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ 16 So be conscious of Allah as much as you can, and listen, and obey, and give for your own good. He who is protected from his stinginess-these are the prosperous. ١٧ إِنْ تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ 17 If you lend Allah a good loan, He will multiply it for you, and will forgive you. Allah is Appreciative and Forbearing. ١٨ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ 18 The Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, the Almighty, the Wise.

We don't have much info about Idris AS. There is a narration indicates that Idris was raised by angels to a place off the earth, studied new knowledge, came down to earth to teach humanity that new knowledge. That happened several times. Thats how he managed to learn and teach humanity writing, farming, building, making cloths...etc. only Allah knows the truth.

The shrinking of humankind ends at the time of our Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the evidence for that in the Sunnah is the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Allāh created Adam sixty cubits tall, then mankind kept getting shorter until now.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3326; Muslim, 2841).

Regarding your question about the reason why we are downsizing and our life span is decreasing, yesterday I heard a nice explanation from a Muslim Sheikh who said that this is a mercy from Allah. Imagine with this vast technology and weapons that we have now, if we are huge, people would have made so much corruption on earth. Also, if we could live for 1000 years, many people would follow their desires for hundreds of years and forget repentance until they reach 800 or 900 years, then they would come close to Allah which will cause so much chaos in the society.
“Allah created Adam and he was sixty cubits tall. Then He said, ‘Go and greet those angels and listen to how they greet you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your progeny.’ He said, ‘Al-salamu ‘alaykum (Peace be upon you).’ They said, ‘Al-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah).’ So they added the words ‘wa rahmat Allah.’ And everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam. People kept on growing smaller until now.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 3336; Muslim, 7092)
According to a version narrated by Muslim: “Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam who was sixty cubits tall. People kept growing smaller until now.”
With regard to the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “People kept growing smaller until now,” al-Hafiz ibn Hajar said in Fath al-Bari (6/367): “This means that in every generation people grew shorter than the previous generation, and continued to grow shorter until the time of this ummah, then they stayed like that.”

The Length of Adam has been discussed many times among muslim scholars, the best answer I've heard and it has been adopted by many Muslims is that Adam was taller and different form that the Earthly Adam, the second best answer is that Arabs used to exaggerate to mean he was very tall but not abnormally tall. Myself I see these two answers are very logical since there is no mention of it in the Quran.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
1 Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah the Sovereign, the Holy, the Almighty, the Wise.
٢ هُوَ الَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولًا مِنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
2 It is He who sent among the unlettered a messenger from themselves; reciting His revelations to them, and purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom; although they were in obvious error before that.
٣ وَآخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
3 And others from them, who have not yet joined them. He is the Glorious, the Wise.
٤ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
4 That is Allah's grace, which He grants to whomever He wills. Allah is Possessor of limitless grace.
٥ مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرَاةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا ۚ بِئْسَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
5 The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah, but then failed to uphold it, is like the donkey carrying works of literature. Miserable is the example of the people who denounce Allah's revelations. Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
٦ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ هَادُوا إِنْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ لِلَّهِ مِنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
6 Say, "O you who follow Judaism; if you claim to be the chosen of Allah, to the exclusion of the rest of mankind, then wish for death if you are sincere."
٧ وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُ أَبَدًا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ
7 But they will not wish for it, ever, due to what their hands have advanced. Allah knows well the wrongdoers.
٨ قُلْ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ الَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مُلَاقِيكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
8 Say, "The death from which you flee will catch up with you; then you will be returned to the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
٩ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
9 O you who believe! When the call is made for prayer on Congregation Day, hasten to the remembrance of Allah, and drop all business. That is better for you, if you only knew.
١٠ فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
10 Then, when the prayer is concluded, disperse through the land, and seek Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, so that you may prosper.
١١ وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا ۚ قُلْ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
11 Yet whenever they come across some business, or some entertainment, they scramble towards it, and leave you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than entertainment and business; and Allah is the Best of providers."
All Prophets can see and communicate with angels especially Angel Jibrail (Gabriel). Allah knows best.❤

Allah tells us to observe his creation like Pygmy hippos 🦛 and hippos and Pygmy elephant 🐘 and the elephant it has to do with ecosystem if it can support the population and size at that time the human population was low in numbers so the ecosystem supported the longevity and size and in time the population expanded and the ecosystem couldn’t support their masses size and number so gradually human diminish in size and in lifespan and grow in number to accommodate the ecosystem.
If you look even closer, for example, ants 🐜 where are greater numbers, but they have a short lifespan eight months, and when the creation gets larger in size like elephant their lifespan gets longer approximately 60 to 80 years, but lower in population, ( with some exception).
The big are you are the longer you live the lower the population as long as the ecosystem stable.
The smaller you are shorter lifespan higher the population as long as the ecosystem is stable.
No it's normal to make movies about any prophets as long it's accurate and the faces of the prophets is not shown

27 meters is 60 cubits. We were all giants, it's dormant now in our genes. As we increased in the world, God made us smaller. I'm guessing back in the day, you had to be powerful to survive on an earth without the softness of our current civilisation.
One narration says that Adam AS was so tall that he was distrubed by clouds so he made a dua for shortening in height so by generation people got shorter.

: We relate unto you (Muhammad SAW) the best of stories through Our Revelations unto you, of this Quran. And before this (i.e. before the coming of Divine Inspiration to you), you were among those who knew nothing about it (the Quran).

The Backbiter
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ
1 Woe to every slanderer backbiter.
٢ الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
2 Who gathers wealth and counts it over.
٣ يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
3 Thinking that his wealth has made him immortal.
٤ كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
4 By no means. He will be thrown into the Crusher.
٥ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
5 And what will make you realize what the Crusher is?
٦ نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
6 Allah's kindled Fire.
٧ الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
7 That laps to the hearts.
٨ إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ
8 It closes in on them.
٩ فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ
9 In extended columns.
This is just my view and I don’t know the answer but I think maybe in those times the first people needed to be extra tall so they could be stronger to cope with the untouched world and harsh conditions.Also there were less people and they could walk further distance so it was probably more necessary for them to be bigger than we are now.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
١ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
1 Everything in the heavens and the earth praises Allah. To Him belongs the Kingdom, and to Him all praise is due, and He is Able to do all things.
٢ هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنْكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنْكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
2 It is He who created you. Some of you are unbelievers, and some of you are believers. And Allah perceives what you do.
٣ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
3 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He designed you, and designed you well, and to Him is the final return.
٤ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
4 He knows everything in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you reveal. And Allah knows what is within the hearts.
٥ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
5 Has the news not reached you, of those who disbelieved before? They tasted the ill consequences of their conduct, and a painful torment awaits them.
٦ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كَانَتْ تَأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا وَتَوَلَّوْا ۚ وَاسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
6 That is because their messengers came to them with clear explanations, but they said, "Are human beings going to guide us?" So they disbelieved and turned away. But Allah is in no need. Allah is Independent and Praiseworthy.
٧ زَعَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنْ لَنْ يُبْعَثُوا ۚ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
7 Those who disbelieve claim that they will not be resurrected. Say, "Yes indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected; then you will be informed of everything you did; and that is easy for Allah."
٨ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْنَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
8 So believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the Light which We sent down. Allah is Aware of everything you do.
٩ يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
9 The Day when He gathers you for the Day of Gathering-that is the Day of Mutual Exchange. Whoever believes in Allah and acts with integrity, He will remit his misdeeds, and will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme achievement.
١٠ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
10 But as for those who disbelieve and denounce Our revelations-these are the inmates of the Fire, dwelling therein forever; and what a miserable fate!
١١ مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
11 No disaster occurs except by Allah's leave. Whoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart. Allah is Aware of everything.
١٢ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
12 So obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away-it is only incumbent on Our Messenger to deliver the clear message.
١٣ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
13 Allah, there is no god but He; and in Allah let the believers put their trust.
١٤ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَادِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ ۚ وَإِنْ تَعْفُوا وَتَصْفَحُوا وَتَغْفِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
14 O you who believe! Among your spouses and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon, and overlook, and forgive-Allah is Forgiver and Merciful.
١٥ إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
15 Your possessions and your children are a test, but with Allah is a splendid reward.
١٦ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَأَنْفِقُوا خَيْرًا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
16 So be conscious of Allah as much as you can, and listen, and obey, and give for your own good. He who is protected from his stinginess-these are the prosperous.
١٧ إِنْ تُقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
17 If you lend Allah a good loan, He will multiply it for you, and will forgive you. Allah is Appreciative and Forbearing.
١٨ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
18 The Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, the Almighty, the Wise.
