I attended bible study about Jesus and asked some piercing questions like why did god need to manifest himself on earth and let himself be killed by the people, why does that mean people aren’t accountable for their sins, wouldn’t that make it a lot more tempting to sin? if he had his messengers to bring his message, why the need for all this vague suffering of a man made of flesh and blood? the only thing I got was weird looks and affirmation of their faith in their savior. The man giving the bible study was intrigued by my questions, because the rest would just blindly believe what he was telling them, yet none of them had an awnser, they all were just telling me in their own way how they hold onto their faith. Jazakhallah khair wa salatu wa salam, Alhamdulilah, for Allah has given us the awnsers all along. Thank you Mufti menk, I am a 21 yo revert, I make dua to never fall into the footsteps of shaiytan, I texted the person giving the bible study and he never responded. Im glad my maker has steered me clear of this blasphemy.
The fact that believers drip the tears from their red eyes while Quran is being recited or listened to already proves that Quran is the Word of God. We can take whatever Book in existence, it will never have even 0.000001% of the contentment that Quran gives.

Knowledge is the key and Inshaa Allaah make sure you are getting the right knowledge because there a lot of nonsense out there. Focus on the basics first like prayer, fasting, etc and the rest will follow. Stay close to Quran and Sunnah inshaa Allaah. I just like to hear what our ancestors spoke of. But I find it hard to accept any religion as truth. Not because I don’t believe in God. But because labeling myself as one believer or another, even calling God, God or any other rname makes no sense to me. To me all the religions speak with holes I have to fill before I can speak of devotion. Rather than one facette of truth I want the whole truth that is available to me. When one says the one thing, and a second says another thing. How can you claim to know truth, you can only believe. I appreciate devotion, but I denounce belief. I can only devote myself to something I can trust.

I prayed for answers and your video popped up, this and another one. I wanted and craved as much info as I can get and you spoke out loud, what sounded like specific answers to some questions I spoke out loud. I can’t express enough gratitude to Mufti Menk. You see, I am from Yemen who grew up in America so I was born a Muslim. I never had proper Islamic studies and my family thought me just the basics of Islam and never really educated me on Islam. I can’t read or write Arabic so I never read the Quran in Arabic but have read the English narration although it never really touched my heart as it was very difficult to understand. I was going through difficult times and was very sad and the first video I came across was the story of prophet Yusuf. This brought comfort to my heart and I have been watching this series of videos everyday ever since. It has been six months now.
Been asking Christians for some years now...how is it that the first commandment is "I am your God. You shall worship no other gods." Yet they put Jesus (pbuh) on the same level as God. They hold on to the holy Trinity explanation but it never made sense to my heart. Was raised christian...studied the Torah. Studied the bible...feared Islam. But now I am starting to change my mind. Been reading the Quran and listening to this and it makes more sense than anything.

As a muslim who doesn't know arabic but finished the quran in (Dugsi) school to memorize quran. I wasn't there long enough to learn the language of arabic in terms of understanding I can only read and write & if i'm told to write something.I can produce it which I think is a gift from allah knowing how hard the language is. I wish I could understand arabic so the Quran could speak more to me. I have a way better understanding when I watch videos like this. May allah help me from committing any sin and help me build Iman and help with salah and I hope to correct my salah to the fullest extent because I know thats the best way to Jannah.

I attended bible study about Jesus and asked some piercing questions like why did god need to manifest himself on earth and let himself be killed by the people, why does that mean people aren’t accountable for their sins, wouldn’t that make it a lot more tempting to sin? if he had his messengers to bring his message, why the need for all this vague suffering of a man made of flesh and blood? the only thing I got was weird looks and affirmation of their faith in their savior. The man giving the bible study was intrigued by my questions, because the rest would just blindly believe what he was telling them, yet none of them had an awnser, they all were just telling me in their own way how they hold onto their faith. Jazakhallah khair wa salatu wa salam, Alhamdulilah, for Allah has given us the awnsers all along. Thank you Mufti menk, I am a 21 yo revert, I make dua to never fall into the footsteps of shaiytan, I texted the person giving the bible study and he never responded. Im glad my maker has steered me clear of this blasphemy.
Only by reading the Quran in Arabic can give a clear answer to which there is truly one creator and that is Allah.
The fact that believers drip the tears from their red eyes while Quran is being recited or listened to already proves that Quran is the Word of God. We can take whatever Book in existence, it will never have even 0.000001% of the contentment that Quran gives.
Maasha Allah. I am very happy for you, you found The Path alhamdulillah. Now, learn step by step and take your time. Knowledge is the key and Inshaa Allaah make sure you are getting the right knowledge because there a lot of nonsense out there. Focus on the basics first like prayer, fasting, etc and the rest will follow. Stay close to Quran and Sunnah inshaa Allaah.
I don’t know how your situation is but make sure you find muslims close to you, a mosque and a group so you have support. I know reverts go through tough times as we meet a lot revert brothers and sisters.

Not because I don’t believe in God. But because labeling myself as one believer or another, even calling God, God or any other rname makes no sense to me.
To me all the religions speak with holes I have to fill before I can speak of devotion.
Rather than one facette of truth I want the whole truth that is available to me.

I can’t express enough gratitude to Mufti Menk. You see, I am from Yemen who grew up in America so I was born a Muslim. I never had proper Islamic studies and my family thought me just the basics of Islam and never really educated me on Islam. I can’t read or write Arabic so I never read the Quran in Arabic but have read the English narration although it never really touched my heart as it was very difficult to understand. I listened to the Quran in Arabic recite some of the verses. I am now 49 years old and my son has introduced me to brother Mufti Menk’s lectures. They have changed my life. Mark jones J Jesus said be careful from false prophets meaning there will be other people will claim to be prophets and there will be real prophets which is Mohammed the last one and maybe there were other prophets came in between them, Jesus said about a prophet will come later from Ismael (read your bible) if Jesus indeed was the last then he will not say be careful from false prophets he can just declare himself as the last prophet and anyone comes after him is an imposter but he didn’t say that but Mohammed did say he is the last prophet and anyone who says he is a prophet is an imposter which means Mohammed is the true and the last prophet

Been asking Christians for some years now...how is it that the first commandment is "I am your God. You shall worship no other gods." Yet they put Jesus (pbuh) on the same level as God. They hold on to the holy Trinity explanation but it never made sense to my heart. Was raised christian...studied the Torah. Studied the bible...feared Islam. But now I am starting to change my mind. Been reading the Quran and listening to this and it makes more sense than anything.

As a muslim who doesn't know arabic but finished the quran in (Dugsi) school to memorize quran. I wasn't there long enough to learn the language of arabic in terms of understanding I can only read and write & if i'm told to write something.I can produce it which I think is a gift from allah knowing how hard the language is. I wish I could understand arabic so the Quran could speak more to me. I have a way better understanding when I watch videos like this. May allah help me from committing any sin and help me build Iman and help with salah and I hope to correct my salah to the fullest extent because I know thats the best way to Jannah.
