To exclude her from this conversation is not just an insult to her might but a blasphemy against all that is sacred in Azur Lane. Do you not see? Do you not understand? Foxhound’s presence alone redefines the battlefield; her sheer existence elevates the very concept of damage to an art form-a symphony of precision and power that lesser ships could only dream of emulating.

As a pasta it always hurts to remember how underwhelming they did Napoli. They did her dirty, since she's amazing WoWS (since PR shisp are collabs with WoWS), even more so than Hindenburg. Hell, to this day I still don't know why Hinden's gun si the AP UR gun when Napoli's is a larger caliber...
I can only hope we get a proper pasta UR in a banner 😭
Isn't she literally the tankiest ship in the game? Perhaps not the most appealing statistic, but she did help me clear the EX stage for the current event with all extra buffs (I had to go full turtle strat with Napoli-Eldridge-Ägir...).
Maybe not the flashiest ship, but I'll take my Italian wins where I can.
She's more of a Tank/CC carry with her insane bulk, smokescreen, torps and x2 CL guns plus ghost gun. This basically Anchorage but actually does some damage, but she is not a DPS carry herself.
Getting THE best vanguard tank in the game, that still has enough damage output to make it to A in this tier list, is being "done dirty" in your mind? Okay, sure mate, sure.
Not to mention this is actually a very accurate depiction of her WoWS performance. Were she's also insanely tanky, but with somewhat inconsistent damage, due to her reliance on secondary guns.
@ if you think her damage is inconsistent then you’re playing her wrong. She’s precise and can do well against most enemies, plus her 254mm can even citadel some big BBs.
Also as Jimmy said, AL doesnt really need tanky vanguards, it needs damage dealers. He himself said that yes Napoli’s tanky, and her smoke helps even more, but why would you pick her when you can pick Hinde and do more dmg and finish the battle earlier, thus not suffering as much dmg?
That’s why I’m saying she was done dirty. They designed everything in Napoli around survivability, which is cool, but she’s got not nearly as much damage potential…
Especially considering (and this was my point) that she’s the first pasta UR. You’d have thought we’d get something very good; look at the NP fans, they got Kron (which sadly has been powercrept), Soyuz which is still strong, and Nakhimov which is very strong.
Nobody’s gonna use Napoli in endgame battles, because one again tankyness is not what the game’s current meta revolves around, especially considering there’s better choices in every aspect she’s allegedly good at. So yes, when you see all factions have 1-2 URs that are in S tier, while we can’t even scratch the top of A tier, after years of waiting (and since I’m italian) you’re gonna be bummed
@@Banana_BOI1 Those are literally the worst large cruiser guns you can have in a tier X battle, they're only good enough because the ship itself is so damn hard to kill that it doesn't matter.

Hi Jimmy question about FU Shun. Does she use her Uniqie Aux (Fo Po Battleplan) ? Or Oxy Torp?
You can do the math on the torpedo bonus that auxiliary gives and compare it to the oxytorp. I believe in you
I am curious. For vanguard specifically Unzen or Shimakaze what fleet tech is wanted? Mostly familiar with BB and CVs for fleet tech
A little sugestion to try just for the LOLs. Full DD fleet, with the DDG girls. I'm finally working on Fu Shun and gonna try to from a fleet formation using them and another 2 DDs to see if they can clear the Mob fleets in Ch 14 and 15, as well as how good they would be in OP Siren. I'm sure they will be far from meta in this kind of scenario, but if we get another 2 DDGs, maybe for USS since they had the most of them after WW2, as far as I can remember, maybe a DDG fleet only could be honestly viable. Just a random thought I had, but it's one I've been waiting since we got An Shan and Chang Chun as DDGs, and I do hope to see more girls using missiles, they're Great vs light armour, but could be great vs heavy if the devs give us missiles with that in mind.
I don't think that's gonna clear lethal even in w14. Unicorn, Independence, 4 DDGs and three tempestas, maaaybe.
Yeah, it's just for the LOLs. Unicorn and another CV/CVL or one AA CL might clear "no problem".
I have Tai Yuan 125, Oathed and all BiS gear on her +13 and for whatever reason I just cant get her to perform in my light armor boss fleet. Sandy, Mogador, Plymouth and Saint Louis all do far more damage than she does (vs Light Armor). Almost 2x the damage in some cases.

@@graham5961 well, if you have enough AA, there's no need to go for more AA
Idk about Brest but she end up dealing more DMG than Mogador (while Mogador was equiped with her gun and DMG aux) and also more than any other cb I think the 100% efficiency on the DD slot with that much fp is really strong
