- .308 strikes again!
I know we have better options for coyotes but when I go out to areas that have a strong presence of pigs that's usually my got to cartridge, and as you can see it takes care of the yotes!
If you know the size of a coyotes head you know its not that big of a target at that distance with a thermal.

*a.amantine* Bravo well done, thank-you sir for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Thanks for watching the vid and stay awesome
That thermal is crazy…but that rig is what dreams are made of ❤
That rifle is a dream that came true!
With a TH-cam platform plagued by disingenuous creators that just love to to showboat what they have and are just all around fake, I say thank you for being yourself Anthony and not letting the sponsor ships / affiliates get to your head and always being humble man.
I’m going through a rough time in my life with cancer and chemo that has taken me away from predator hunting something I love with all my heart.
Watching your videos getting chemo treatments 6 hrs a day has helped man. I know this sounds sappy but I just wanted to say thank you, it’s crazy how something you do can help people in different ways. I know the editing and getting content and making time can be hard sometimes.
Thanks buddy for the hours of entertainment and keeping my mind off alot of things.
Epic shot! Appreciate your prelude to the action, I find it very nice that you tell the background story to your video.
I’m glad you appreciate that, I have a hard time delivering the content without a damn story or a breakdown of the gear……
That combo is Legit! Great job TK
It’s hard to walk away from it
Dude, a hell of a hunter and a shooter. Rare combo, my man.
I appreciate that 🤝
Love your content, Sir. KEEP. IT. COMING LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Let’s go!
I absolutely love your content brother
I’m glad you’re enjoying it
Great video!
NICE WORK!! PIP came in clutch. I wouldn’t be able to take the shot without it. Impressive, big props. Time to get out of here before I spend $$ 😆😆
Love your content!! Real dude doing real shit! Keep it coming 🤘🏼
Thank you
Spaghetti’d his meatball 🎯 great shot
Hell yeah brother 👏👏
Great shot man!🤘
Thanks
Dang, that’s some mighty fine shoot’n Tex.
Outstanding!!!
Thanks
In the Noodle Bowl!!!
That is a beautiful rifle.
Hands down one of my favorites
You one bad dude 😎💯
What a shot!
That’s a clean ass shot 😳😎🤙
How are you liking the Hydrogen? Im looking to add a precision can to my collection.
Yessir ❤
Damn that was fire!
Thanks bud
Nice!!
Of course the hardest part after making that shot is to loo at your mates with the "I MEANT TO DO THAT" look on your face.
Would you recommend the hydrogen L over the hyperion?
L all the way
Reach out and TOUCH!
Nice 👍🏻
Hell yeah- that's how it's done!!
I’m trying bud 🫡
Just came across your channel and love your content!! Keep up the great filming! I’m starting to build my first thermal rig for coyote hunting. I’d love to know why you prefer bolt rifles over AR rifles for coyotes. Most of the content I see online says bolt guns are at a disadvantage over AR rifles for night hunting, looks like you love your bolt rifle tho. I’m leaning towards a bolt action.
There’s a magazine on eBay with you on the cover from back in your track days
Legit shot!
Thanks man
Outfreakingstanding !!!
Yessssiiifr
dang... nice shot
Thanks
“Two coyotes playing grab ass” 😂
😂
Man what a great shot. On my RH50 v2 I can hold the zoom button down and it brings up the PIP without using the menu. Not sure about the Rh50R though.
In the video you can see exactly how turned it on 😂
Thinking about getting into night hunting. Whats the best bang for your buck thermal in your opinion?
Didn't take you long to send it once the decision was made! Gun just have a hell of a trigger...
I have a bunch of those at my house in sanctuary hills…
What bullet are you shooting in that 308?
It’s not factory
@@TxKiller 300 yards holding just over I didn’t figure it was, what bullet are you running
@@Zwashmusic86 Makers bullet, getting 3141fps with a 16” barrel, gonna push for 3200….
And just to think that back during the Civil War to even be considered for a sniper /aka, SHARPSHOOTER you had to consistently hit a target no bigger then a pie plate at approximately 200 yards with open sights and standing freehand...
Modern technology is a thing of beauty 😅
Are you still shooting Grind Hard Ammunition 308?
No
@@TxKiller well what you shooting now?

Do you remember Rick and the cow incident lol??
Night night! Ammo?
Why do so many thermals always have such a low base magnification? I get wanting good field of view but I also like to see my target in better detail. I'm poor so I can't afford thermal anyway but shit even 4 or 5x base magnification seems more useful to me than 2x with digital zoom. In your video I can barely see what that is on 2x other than a hot animal shaped object and clearly you can't either since you turned on the picture in picture mode so you can see the target and cross hairs better. If I were out in a field I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference between a German shepherd and a coyote with just 2x magnification at 300 yards even with 6x digital zoom. My rifle scope is 2-12 because I like the 2x for field of view but when I shoot I am pretty much NEVER going to shoot on 2x. It's always 6x or higher because I have a finer aiming point.
What you see on video is nothing like what I see through the scope, plus I used the PIP for my shot placement. The hybrid75 is one of my favorites for yote hunting with the 4x base and 75mm lens, but it’s to much mag for the close stuff. This night I wasn’t planning on going for a far shot but this optic is still very capable of going the distance if you do your part. I was really expecting pigs in an area we hunt and we’re usually 50yds away 😅
@bghiggy because tunnel vision field of view sucks my brother! Haha. My 1st thermal was a 4x base. Horrible decision for under 100 yd hunting. Get a 640 core 1x, 1.5x, or if you must 2x on the base mag. You will not be sorry. Semper Fi!
@@hsing4903 I don't shoot under 100 yards typically lol.
dang... lol
