I'm so glad you found this one, Annette! It's one of my favorites! The chickpea flour really amplifies the peanut taste in these. I make them to share with the neighbors all the time. And they stay fresh a good long while, too.
Day 5 of my Marc Matsumoto Marathon solved!😁 I've already feasted on the leftovers from Hamburg Steak and Mitarashi Dango; I'm sure I'll be ready for a wholesome afternoon snack by the time I get these baked. What a cute video! That little guy stirring in the background was my favorite!😍
@@NoRecipes One of my daughter's favorite WII games is called , "Order Up!" It's an elaborate cooking game where you work as a line cook. You start in Fast Food and work your way up to Fine Dining. The last level is a cooking battle à la Iron Chef. For a kid who won't go near the kitchen, she's been strangely obsessed with this for over a decade. She played through all the levels. She doesn't understand all the parameters of the game, like pleasing picky customers with special ingredients, but she's very good at the cooking! The writing and voice acting on this game is hilarious, but she won't let me play!🥺
Okay, I'm not sure how this one slipped under my radar. What a fun intro! I love the pixel art and chiptunes! Also, I'll have to try these cookies, I've been looking for a PB cookie that's tasty. Most of the PB cookies I've tried smell and look better than they taste, lol! It's always a plus when the ingredients are a little better for you too. 😁
TH-cam is pretty bad with notifications even if you have the bell ticked. You can try and click the bell again and it should give you a drop down that you can select "all" from, which should surface all my future videos for you. I hope you enjoyed your day off!
Well, I was thinking: "How cute! Marc Matsumoto made a Peanut Butter Cookie video!" WRONG!!! Marc MATSUMOTO'ed a Peanut Butter Cookie recipe! Easy, nutritious, gluten-free, vegan, NO butter, NO egg; but it's the tastiest Peanut Butter Cookie I've ever eaten! This cookie has the tenderest crumb thanks to the use of gluten-free flours. It melts in the mouth! The choice of chickpea flour perfectly enhances the peanut flavor; chickpeas and peanuts are both legumes. Only using Peanut Butter for shortening means that the ONLY flavor is Peanut! The rice syrup adds a lovely chew and moistness. Your recipe truly impressed this life-long baker and Cookie College Graduate!👩🍳👩🎓🍪
Hahaha, that's the general reaction to my non-Japanese videos, but before I started youtube (or even moved to Japan), my food blog was more about Western cuisines 😆
@@NoRecipes I love revisiting those posts! Your site is a gold mine of ideas. I always check there if I'm going to make anything! You always do it best.😁
Looks yummy! I gotta work out more so I can have an excuse to make them :P Those video game animations were really cool too!! I love video games too, I'm playing a lot of Animal Crossing on the switch at the moment :P
😆 you might be able to justify it as a healthier alternative to eating something else, but working out is definitely a good thing that I need to do more of myself.
I'm good thanks, and you? As for the measurements, all of my recipes have measurements. I may not mention it in the video, but if you look below the video in the description they're all listed. As for using Coconut flour it does not contain any starch so I would not recommend it. Click through to my full post on the blog for more details on the ingredients and possible substitutions.
Super fun video. 😊
Chick pea flour! Brilliant!!!
