That doesn't work I've tried it, "it will only take a few minutes" he interrupts and won't let me finish talking.

Yep, this is nonsense. Listen, if some dude doesn't take note of what I'm saying, I bounce, never to be seen again. It's that simple. :-)

2:00 Just to clarify our terminology: I don't think many reasonable folks would claim we are the "same." The problem arises when not the same becomes exceedingly unbalanced and cruelly unequal. The fact that we are different is wonderful, and truly lovely how we actually complement each other, so that we are interdependent and mutually supportive.
I low-key despise whoever coined the phrase "war of the sexes" because I think what started out as a semi-derisive joke ultimately had the long-term effect of reframing our interactions toward combat instead of cooperation and conflict instead of communication. Clearly. 😑
In light of the historical abundance of patriarchy, slut-shaming and victim-blaming women have endured, perhaps a call to arms was needed as a wake up call, to both sides, that enough was e-fucking-nough. In that case it's possible the benefits outweigh the cost, but that is open for debate.
But we need to get back to a natural alignment. And to be honest I'm really pleased with men's progress. I don't think the majority of men are opposed to the ideals of feminism and that is a great, great step forward.

He says if a woman wants to share these things with their partner to preface it with "I want to get your opinion on something, would you watch it and give me your feedback?" This makes your man the authority. Don't tell him you think he could use this advice, it won't go over well.

I could have lived forever without John discussing doctors (assumed to be male) enjoying looking at nude female bodies of patients (chuckle chuckle). He's getting too comfortable and not minding his position and professionalism here. A wise host would have edited this out. And there are also those patients who have been violated by their doctor which of course is very traumatic. I would say, show some class John. (This from a retired R.N.)

I love John Gray, his insights are amazing and so much of what he says resonates deeply. BUT I disagree strongly with the idea of going out with a man you're not attracted to. It's neither fair to the man (to use him for "practice") or to the woman because she will eventually feel like she's 'forcing' the relationship. She will end up resenting herself and her partner and (worse) repressing her feelings of resentment out of guilt and shame. Like all repressed emotions, it will emerge in other areas of life (like cheating, addiction etc). I tried this and it backfired badly. Don't do it.

What does Dr. John Gray say about when the man you’re dating makes it a point to improve your relationship with you, but when you’re out, ogles other women? It feels so disrespectful and pushes me 100% away from him.

omg.. gettimg naked for the doctor is NOT intimate and does NOT increase my estrogen levels. So dumb. I get the point he was making about feeling safe, but that example was SO bad, repulsive even, that I stopped watching.

Yeah. I think there are people who have a biased world POV who get very educated and write books, all the while finding research that proves their predisposed POV. It’s gross.

I agree. I don’t exactly feel safe except that there is a female nurse in there too. There is a reason for a female nurse to also be in the room. Liability and the patient’s feeling of safety.

We did not come from monkeys John Gray. How do you say you believe in God and believe that He would create us from monkeys? Absurd. I have listened to your theories and most of it makes sense except that we evolved from monkeys. I pray that God will take this ignorance away from you because you are a man that has the gift of influence: With that comes the responsibility of telling the truth. Scientists explain away God through evolution but God is Science. Be blessed.

Love Dr Gray..but a lot of " off topic". Halfway through and still hasn't said HOW to talk to a man, just all the hormone info why not.
Also. The dr visit thing .CREEPIEST explanation ever .too unprofessional.
Saying you feel safe so you trust..great. that the Dr is lusting after you, ha,ha .TERRIBLE.
Get more testosterone Dr and keep to the point !!
