What an amazing survivor! Whenever I see them, it's bitter sweet. You know the original owner never got their monies worth out the vehicle.... not by a long shot, but to see them basically like new still, is just so sweet.
7:58 That’s a twin-I beam suspension set up. So, the fact that that’s carried over from the F-100 to the F-150 over the decades pretty much proves just how much of a game changer that suspension set up was.
I REMEMBER BACK IN THE DAY WHEN FORD WENT TO THAT 5.8 4V HO ENGINE. THE F150 THAT I LOOKED AT, AT DON SANDERSON FORD IN GLENDALE, AZ WAS THAT EXACT SET UP RIGHT THERE. 1 YEAR LATER MY MOMS FRIEND BOUGHT ONE WITH A 302 IN IT. LARIET AND ALL. CREAM COLOR. IT DID OK. BUT THAT 351 WOULD OF HAD MORE TORQUE.
302's never belonged in trucks. Ford should have never offered it imo. The 300-6 was the far better truck engine option.... over the 302 (car engine) that is..... In a truck like this now however, it wouldn't have mattered, as it clearly wasn't used, nor would anyone use it now either (as a truck).
Great job on video and just stumbled across this and I would love to own this wish I had the money I would even trade both my 97 Ranger XLT 4x4 extended cab and my 2011 Kia Sorento ex fwd in on this thank you for bringing back memories GOD BLESS YOU and TAKE CARE
I hate the cab lights, hood ornament, and the mirrors. Other than that sweet truck. Just my preference. Now if it were a Ram I liked the Ram hood ornaments made me think of Mack trucks.

imo it doesnt get any better than an 80s box truck. i love trucks from all generations.. but my heart is with those old boxy ford and chevys
