What i want is actual classes with exams and mini games. The houses common room and dorms becoming a bigger part. Curfews. Being required to sleep at night to advance the day.
And consequences for our actions. Qnd companion system. This qnd what you said would be perfect
I agree. Romantic interactions are definitely not necessary, but I'd also like to point out how big of an effect it had in the original books and films, mainly through Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Ginny. Innocent teenage romance was a big part of the story of Harry Potter, not to mention most people's middle and high school experiences in real life. As long as it's kept innocent, like running around Hogsmeade, holding hands, and going to the three broomsticks for a butterbeer together. They are 16 year olds, so that kinda relationship between the characters would be perfectly natural in my opinion. That said, if theyre going to do that, I would first want them to actually let us hang out with the core friend group (Sebastian, Natsai, Amit, and Poppy) outside of quests.
Yeah, I get it.. and yes, maybe even going to a ball dance together could be a cool activity too
I like just walking around too. A chill mode :-) Sit back, relax, just enjoy the ambience of "being there." I like that.
I would pay up to £200 for a Hogwarts Legacy DLC purely because I love this game,there’s definitely a demand for it so I don’t see why it can’t happen.

There's not gonna be any DLC. Avalanche studios said that so you fans need to stop trying to get DLC for hogwarts legacy.
Any kind of dlc for Hogwarts Legacy would be great! I love the game and I cannot get enough. But I would definitely love to see a dlc that continues Sebastian’s story. I would love to help Sebastian find a cure for his sister and they would get the happy ending that they both deserve.
I think that kinda thing should happen in the sequel, which should definitely happen within this console generation. I'd imagine we'll be able to import our saves from the original, and depending on the choices we made regarding Sebastian's story, we can continue and find the cure for Anne during our 6th and 7th years, either with Sebastian or Ominis. Because if you end up turning in Sebastian with Ominis, it's clear he feels some regrets and he's unsure if he made the right choice, so he could end up feeling that pursuing the cure in place of Sebastian is the least he could do to make it up to his former best friend.
Oh a 100% I wanna see continuation of Sebastian’s story!
I would like a quest/task where we meet someone in the great hall during a meal. We never go there. We hardly ever eat.

5:21 I just dawned on me that the reason why we usually don't spend much time in the common room or domitory is the *room of requirement* (RoR).
The RoR is the de-facto place where you prepare yourself for quests, mend your inventory etc. It becomes the main character's base and thus the common rooms can't really challenge that spot given that they are pretty empty - on the other hand in the books, the common room (/dormitories) is the base for Harry and co until they leave Hogwarts.
I definitely get why they put in the RoR, it is an iconic place in the wizarding world that allowed to provided players with many tools, but I believe that if we want to feel more part of our houses and involved into our common rooms, *the room of requirements has to go*.
(Well it could come back in another form though 😉)
You’re absolutely right! There’s a constant need to go back to ROR.. I think something similar can be done to the dorms

Only DLC I wish with all my heart would do is a morality system. Having your bad decision mean something at the end becoming a good or dark wizard. If you are out at night getting punished for it. And having the students whisper about how bad you are etc. also would be a cool idea if casting unforgivables against anyone not an enemy to get sent to Azkaban and also be less popular etc.
Edit: second choice for DLC is more side missions that fit with your house: slytherines doing mischief and griffindor given more quests to save people etc.
I would really love to see Hogwarts Legacy to be inspired by BioWare projects such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age - more interactions with friends, ability to take someone with you on the quests and more consequences for the choices you make. About Romance is a tricky part because in Dragon Age we play as an adult but here we're playing as a teen, but I think having smth really innocent wouldn't hurt.
Also old Harry Potter games had exams at the end of the year, I think it would be great to have that as well - an exam where you use only a certain group of spells or where you have to use all of them and solve puzzles.
And I definitely agree that I would love to interact with items, not just with globes. It would be so nice to just sit in a chair you conjured.
And finally, we need "new game plus" mode because I would love to try every house but the thought that I would have to find all the items again...well it's cool but a bit tiresome
Exactly! It would have to be like going to a ball together or giving a gift and going to three broomsticks together.

It is weird when I went to school I hated the GCSE exams but for Hogwarts Legacy I was honestly disapointed that we couldn't take the O.W.L exams

I think the classes could potentially be extended with companions, have a class assignment with a companion or another character we get along with, perhaps caring for a large magical beast with poppy or raising a magical plant wth Samantha

Also if we choose to be a dark wizard we can't perform a patronus charm. But we can do something else. Give some bonuses to being good and bad. So you can choose.
Edit like for example as a dark wizard we have protego diabolica whild a good wizard can have expecto patronum.

Not a DLC idea but, I hope the third game of Hogwarts Legacy ends with a simple, nostalgic touch, mirroring the conclusion of the Harry Potter series. Our character, who attended Hogwarts from Year 5 to 7, could be seen as a 117-year-old, having witnessed Dumbledore's early days. The final scene could depict the first day of Harry's journey at Hogwarts, creating a full-circle moment. And a brief cameo in the HBO show could represent our character's legacy.

Hold on I just got thought, using alohomora is not really a dramatic experience in game. Is like we don’t feel bad about braking into someone’s home using that spell.
So if there is a hogwarts legacy 2 I would want them to made us fell bad about using it.
And pomp up the reward since we are breaking and entering.

A lot of these DLC's sounded amazing but for a more modern game it felt like it was lacking a bit. I was expecting something like a Skyrim but Harry Potter. The character creation was very limited, you can't have followers like you can in Skyrim, etc.
A DLC that adds Diagon Alley would be fun too. You could visit Gringotts Bank and the Leaky Cauldron. One big thing I would like to see is either housing (like in Skyrim where you could buy a house and have it furnished) or be able to have a bedroom in the Room of Requirement. Having to sleep in bed to wait would be a good addition too. Waiting and then just sleeping on the ground is a bit awkward imo.
For spells, having your patronus would be fun. Coming across a rouge dementor somewhere in the world and being able to cast the Patronus Charm would be a great improvement to the gameplay.
I could go on and on about what they could do or what they didn't do but these are the things I would like to see most IF they come out with DLC content.
Yeah, they sort of went there with the “private house” like you could have it in room of requirement, but it would be cool if it was an actual house somewhere in one of the Hamlets and be able to put stuff there and of course sleep there too.
And yeah it would also be cool to have closets and different chests to work as storage like in Skyrim
How about the Tri Wizard Tournament? Along with the Patronis spell.
Some type of challenging competition could be cool

It’s incredible how much this game is simultaneously one of the most detailed and lively in game worlds I’ve ever experienced yet still has so much potential for expansion. Hogwarts Legacy is kinda a miracle and has really set a new bar for the single player open world rpg.

12. An animagus quest would be real fun but the process would need to be much more simplified as opposed to what it is originally, & natsi could be our teacher. This should not be simple to master it needs to be more than just a simple spell that we can instantly get in one. Specific quests involving using this ability & seeing this form of magics true potential would be amazing.
11. Multiplayer Magical Duels
This would be cool, but how would AM work? would there be AM defensive measures to block the lethal attacks? it would be fun having big chaotic battles...& seeing how the combat is allready there this is something that could be done with time...I mean there's battle arenas all ready there.
10.
Malfoy Ancestry DLC
Haven't thought much on this...would be good to have an ancestry or maybe even our own family vault or perhaps the cursed vaults.
9. Quidditch DLC
Not to bothered with this...but a mini game of some sort ( not alohamora) would have been far better. Hoping they can at least include some type of game like Gobstones, exploding snap or wizard chess or perhaps adding in Crossed wands as a continuous battle for top spot.
8. Companions & Romance DLC
Companions really should have been in from the start... its just bizarre being so alone when wandering/exploring with no company.... this is one of the biggest drawbacks of the game...I mean HP is literally about the friends you make on the way but ours in game is restricted to side/main quests.
it amazes me just how many people are put off at the mere thought of Romance yes Romance not SEX!!!!!.... don't be such prudes teens in real life mess around like rabbits all the time ( though not everyone at that age) & yes its a game so they can only do so much especially with rating & if anything if Romance was in the game I'd expect Bully/ Sims mechanics hold hands, hug, peck on the lips, cheek, cute dates, dances, give gifts etc.
7. Interactive common Rooms
To be honest I'm the same as most people barely ever in the CR because theirs nothing to do, give us reasons to be using the common room: like answering mail ( had a little thought about mail with our desk being in the ROR give it a purpose), studying ( could have an animation loop mechanic where spells progress & the loop changes when upgraded & based on what your practicing) play games, store items in a chest!!
6. Exploring the Chamber of Secrets
Again seen many doubt this lots of lore purists saying only Tom Riddle opened it, there was Corvinus Gaunt to in the mid to late 1600's he had to secure the entrance due to new plumbing.
Just because the only records of the COS being opened lay with canon does not mean there have not been other events taken place out with it exploration of the chamber would be possible. being so lore bound offers very little don't let lore get in the way of great adventure . It would be cool to have a chase scene with the basilisk or we get to explore the chamber with ominous.
5. Magical creatures & conservation
More animals are needed including much much more space for the vivarium's & give us pets!!...I can't believe how limited that was. Exploration of the Black lake would be great offers new opportunities. Having our creatures helping us in battles would be a great help ( that would have helped at the start of the game)
4. Ambience & Relaxation
I'd like this especially being able to sit & of course SLEEP IN OUR F****** DORMITORY BEDS!!!...who thought it would be a swell idea to sleep on the dirt?? . Ambience mode would lend itself really well to photo mode...I really hope Photo mode is added.
3. More depth in learning & classes
I found this really disappointing... classes were to short & lacklustre just short cutscenes glossing over everything. We're a new student & it should be a pretty integral part of the game to have in depth classes. Take inspiration from the old HP games we get spells by going through dungeons & at the end we learn the spell we're there for rather than comeplete 20 tasks that require resources we don't have money for.
2. Years 6 & 7
This seems obvious but I hope they don't go with a different era like some people want...a continuation is what we're after.
1. Azkaban story DLC
New locations would be great including the ministry of magic. I didn't like how Hufflepuff got to go azkaban a specific location ( even though there was nothing to it). Progression of the AM story line would be a big one considering there was no exploration of that other than the keepers playing moral police.

It occurs to me that Ominis would be a natural to interact with the Basilisk. Besides being Slytherin’s descendant and speaking parseltounge, he is blind. That means he can’t be killed or petrified. I can’t help but feel his blindness was a deliberate decision on the developer’s part.
@CaptainCognitive it feels intentional , I at first thought his blindness was related to inbreeding of the Gaunts.
I think a COS DLC with Ominis would be great. Maybe even provide us with a set of new dark arts spells.
I really don't like how many people are against the idea of us going in to the chamber because of what? Breaking Canon? Corvinus Gaunt covered the entrance due to the Chambers' existence being threatened in the 18th century.
Besides I think us exploring the chamber with Ominis would be a great adventure that or Gaunt Manor or why not both.
id like to see more evil morality maybe joining the ashwinders the option to help the goblin or even a complete faction system with good neutral and evil options

This might be a huge reach but you know how in prisoner of Azkaban Hermione has that locket that can go back in time. Well I want an origin of that locket & maybe that can come from either a quest or a sequel to the game. I want to see some of the main characters from Harry Potter at least once in the game so I feel time traveling would be one of the best ways to do that. Maybe even introduce a new spell & become famous for it. Like one of the spells from the movie that isn't given in the game with no origin but the origin comes from your player who refuses to tell others how he/she/they discovered it idk I'm spit balling but it might be a really cool idea with the "time locket"

Romance options make me nervous, in others games it gives people ideas with mods that are completely degrading and I wouldn't want to invite that sorta thinking for this game, it just has red flags this game doesn't need, they would have to be exceedingly tactful with how they do it, I think an Ambient mode sounds quite intriguing I'd love to see some underwater missions too, but they'd have to show some good options because I have a horrible fear of the deep, I nearly drowned when I was little and it completely traumatized me and I can't play games like Subnautica, maybe they can have lighting options, because underwater missions would be pretty cool, like exploring underwater ruins or collecting sea flaura n fauna for water spells or something like that it's only an idea tho, I really do hope we get more content for the game, because this game is incredible, me and my nephew's enjoy this game immensely

Maybe my memory has failed me (I blame BG3 if so), but a DLC to explain your characters background? Why a 5th year, why seemingly no parents, is it pure luck of the draw who can use the old magics, etc?

I would love a quidditch dlc I would play quidditch all the time
I mean all this is great but it requires a lot of efficient and good code, something which will increase the number of bugs and weird stuff in the game if done incorrectly and I must say its insanely time consuming. Like that video that came out just a few days after the release about the stuff that got cancelled/removed in the game, I believe the worked on it but ran into critical errors that caused them to remove it. Most of the things mentioned would SURELY be in the sequel I believe mostly because people at Avalanche gained a lot of knowledge and experience after releasing this game. So hopefully Hogwarts Legacy 2 would be MUCH MUCHH more lovely than this. Like just in this game you can do 4 playthroughs if you want imagine the sequel.

There were a few mentions about that, but it was more for the sequel rather than a dlc.. but yes, Ministry of Magic and London in general is a must!
Really any or most of these i would love, Then I'll finally have a "Shut up and take my money" moment. But as of right now, I'll never get over being robbed either by a bug or glitch of my haunted hogsmeade quest. I was extremely sad and pissed that it wasn't working for me.

What about a mission that lets you explore another house common room?
What about Hogwarts is on lock-down because of Ranroks forces/poachers/whatever. you and a friend have to sneak out past teachers & Prefects to get out and stop them somehow?
In the next game I would like to see benefits of actually picking a house. e.g. higher attack, but lower base defence for slitherins, more plant capacity & plant damage for hufflepuffs etc... I'm sure the devs could run with this idea

Champions is an online free to play game im almost 100% sure it was confirmed to be so. WB making this game online only with no singleplayer is so predictable. I want a full premium experience with singleplayer and offline play just like World cup on ps2 was. Not this live service garbage they are trying to push in our faces now..🙄
There is no dlc and i don't think there will be, they are already late on the last port. Game is dead, get used to it, we probably have better chances and hopes of getting Hogwarts legacy 2 in a couple years.
