This guys story is hilarious. He goes insane, gets a gun attached where his head should be, and gives himself the equivalent to a 10 year olds Xbox gamertag.
Two notes: First, James Cobb was not replaced by the Lonely Wizard. He was replaced by the Pike Mage, who's true name is revealed as Amber in the ARG. Second, the Mycologists, similarly to Rebecha, The Woodcarver, and The Bone Lord, are not anyone's minions. They can be associated with Leshy due to their wilderness theming, just as the Bone Lord can be associated with Grimora, but they are still an independent force in the game.
Quick errata, James wasn't just put through the smelter, his head got put into Melter where it still resides which we can see from the times where James interrupts Melters dialogue
Huh this is interesting. This also kinda makes wonder if the Ouroboros card is more unique in some capacity as it doesn’t die when the game changes as others wise the stats would increase. Also going off how resilient the card was I wouldn’t be surprised if it survived along side the Lonely Wizard.
Considering the symbolism of the Ouroboros is cycles, it could possibly represent a cycle within the game’s story like how whoever gets exposed to the old data is inevitably driven to ruin.
So you know how Ourobot is a refresh symbol (🔄) in Act III? Well in order to make that clearer, the devs made Ouroboi stop eating his tale. Now even if it wasn't intended to relate to the deletion at the end of Act III, in my head canon Ouroboros was giving us a prophecy. I believe Ouroboros is very unique, but I don't think it lasted past deletion. It didn't last because it required a cycle to subsist, and Grimora ended the cycle.
Love that you updated this so quickly, but just one thing to note here: Pike Mage's name is revealed. It's Amber, and that she's the ruby mage taking Jame's place. Other wise, hell yeah, thanks for always staying so on top of the Daniel Mullins verse. I wouldnt have known about any of the Hex concections without you :)
Wow, great video. One thing, I'm pretty sure the new ruby mage Amber (Pike Mage) was the one who replaced James Cobb. I think Lonely Wizard was already there.
i like to think this much investment in this character so far removed from the game itself might make him a teaser for a future game, he could be involved as a protagonist or antagonist, or just tie into the next games plot somehow.
I have a question for inscription fanatics out there : is there a good resource that explains ALL about inscriptions story ? That would link up the arg to the in game secrets to whatever is known from other Daniel Mullins games ? That would give somewhat proper explanation for the old data, the creation and events around gamefuna, the creation of inscription, the karnoffel code, and how this ties with WW2, as well as how "real life" events in this world are tied to what we see in game ? It seems that the community has all the answers and yet after checking all inscription explanation videos I still feel like I'm missing 90% of the answers. Where are they goddamnit?
From the description: And lastly if you want to know how all this information was discovered, you’ll have to wait till Flemmonade makes his video on it
Also in inscription all scribes have someone looking for data po3 has the dredger and etc what do you think are the roles for the other henchmen when it comes to the old data, each scribe since one of henchmen of each scribe to find old data

I dont think the Woodcarver is Independent, she mentions being Leshy's "puppet"
@@accentillia8116That is in reference to the fact that she was used in Leshy's game. She is not his subordinate.
who r his puppets tho
@@benismann Prospector, Angler, and Trapper/Trader (I think the trader personality is more neutral but maybe not)
i saw it as soemthing liek the trader having a part time job being the trapper with leshy, but mostly shes got her own little buisness set up
I really hope we see Plasma Jimmy again in a future game!

definitely play the hex if you haven't already, it's REALLY good.

I wouldn’t say it answers everything, but I made a video on how all the ARG’s and stories from Daniel’s other games connect

Each Scrybe only has one of their henchmen looking for the OLD_DATA. The other ones don't have any role related to it.
No, it's just Angler for Leshy, Goobert for Magnificus, Dredger for P03, and Kaycee for Grimora as the DATA finders.
