This song is an anthem! When I listened to it, it reminded me of how I stood up to the bullies when I was a kid and wouldn’t let them make me feel I was less than I was. I have learned not everyone will like you or relate to you, but I love this song and how I reminded myself that I’m not strange or crazy for what I endured, but that I learned from it and that I will stand up for those who go through that. No one should ever be bullied for being themselves. Be unique and be who you are! Dave appreciate you man!! 🤟🤟
This whole Amaryllis album is fantastic. Not as good as Leave A Whisper (imo) but still damn good. If I think about it, I think you would like My Name, Adrenaline, and maybe even Unity 🤘
He wrote this after the girl Amanda I think she killed herself after she was bullied so much. Brent himself was bullied and he stood up and fought them when he was in school. Brent thinks if you are bullied to stand up and fight back.
