I actually got a chance to meet Brent Smith. Such a humble guy like me and my wife lived in his hometown and ran into him at a mall and he is living proof of fame not changing who you are or your moral standards
yes! i met the whole band a few years ago and they were all so humble and amazing. brent asked if he could hug everyone one by one! of course before covid lol. ive met quite a few bands and they were the nicest
I saw a live performance & he changed the song set to include his favorite song.
I’ve seen them perform in Knox twice now, first time it was his mom’s birthday and we all sang happy birthday to her during the concert. Seems like the nicest guy in the world.

So I'm way late to the party (love the reactions tho), but here are a couple of ABSOLUTE GEMS by Shinedown that nobody remembers as their first pick, and which you haven't reacted to yet.
1. "Movie credits" songs:
- I'm Alive (from Avengers Assemble 2012)
- Her Name Is Alice (from Alice in Wonderland 2010)
These are two absolute bangers that 75% of even their own fanbase haven't heard/didn't know it was them. There are zero reactions on TH-cam as well, which is a shame.
2. "Sweet" ones
- Dysfunctional You (from the latest album, released about a month ago)
- Amaryllis
- Call me
3. "Hard-rock" ones
- Cut the cord

Honestly this song hits me in the feels on a different level now. One guy that bullied me through my childhood into high school came in one day a few years later when I was working checkout at the local dollar store. He came through my line and realized who I was and proceeded to apologize to me for everything he had done for me and started tearing up in the process. I had forgiven him years ago though, as I didn't have the energy to hold any hate in my heart towards him. Not even a month after he died from something heart condition I believe, and maybe he knew his time was limited and wanted to try to right some wrongs but just know that you're forgiven man. It's all water under the bridge, and I hope wherever you are, you're happier and at peace 💕.

I was bullied in High School, so i started taking Martial Arts classes. One Sunday I went to class, and low and behold, one of the bullies had started the class as a new pupil, so you can imagine, my eyes lit up, and lets just say, he never bullied me again after that class. In fact, when one of his accomplice tried to pick on me again in school and I stood up to him, the other guy jumped in-between us because he's seen what I was capable of - now looking back, whether that was because he was afraid of what I could do to said bully, maybe, but it was a good moment and I wasn't bullied again at High School

This was the first Shinedown song I’ve heard and I’ve liked them ever since
I was bullied. Had to put my hands on a couple of em...never in a full on fight but I let them know I wasn't someone they could do that to and I wasn't gonna stand for it. Ended up getting a ride home with one of em one of the last days of high school

Good talk on how to ''deal with being bullied''. It's not okay that it's happening, but the only reaction that seems to stop it makes you the bad person. If you aren't a bully-type person yourself you have no idea what goes too far and what is still accepted. The most important thing like you said is that you mustn't let it define you. One aggressive or bad action doesn't make you a bad person, especially if you are a kind and caring person the rest of the time. The people who care about you will know that and support and forgive you.
Great reaction you are right. I was bullied too when I was in school dealing with bullies hard to deal with them but later on in life though I realized that if it wouldn't been for bullies I wouldn't be stronger dealing with azzholes. I love my enemies despite how they treat me. Now I'm older dealing with azzholes or two at work used to it laugh through it I get payed to put up with it after shift over go home enjoy my time off home is my peaceful place to relax:)
