Very cool, love the sound it gives off! very very nice and broad sounding. That sample with the processing gives me driving into the big city vibes on a vacation on a perfect sunny day.
I support this channel and will continue to. The information provided on the Akai MPC standalone and how to actually use it with the plug ins it comes with; has postured me with the confidence to actually put my stuff out, because I know it will sound good. Thank you sir. Please keep teaching.
Wow this is a gem indeed you learn something new everyday lol. This is great content and concepts my you have here Conan! I appreciate you explaining the various ways it could be used,I’m all about using the tools I have. I work 90%in standalone so this is knowledge!🙏🏾
The lens pops mate, it ads some classy flavour to your visuals. Not that we need it of course. Your content speaks for itself but no doubt it will help your channel along. Keep chugging, good luck and thanks so much for sharing and teaching ✌🏼
Yesss! Always curious how professionals get depth that's pleasing to the ear. You don't hear much about it. Haven't heard of much at all on youtube university 😅i
I have been trying to get better with that upfront sound in standalone of course I have more options in controller mode with the computer but this helps a lot. That sample you played was 🔥 too lol
REMEMBER ALL CAPS WHEN YOU SPELL THE MAN NAME. RIP Dumile… Great video Conan! Really interesting and loads learned. The idea of using this on percs was interesting. Going to try that!
I wasn’t gonna comment until you mentioned the lens… is that just LOG footage? It’s so flat… it could look so much nicer. Still looks good. Not trying to attack you or anything.
Hey mate, I guess it’s subjective. It’s slog3 CST to DWG, colour graded, then DWG to Rec709. I used a Kodak film emulation with a bleach bypass in Dehancer. It’s supposed to be quite flat. I like that lower contrast flat look, emulating films from the late 70s, early 80s. I’m not a fan of sharp hdr colorful TicToc style personally, but it’s nice that you actually noticed lol. 🙏🏼
Haha it’s a good question. I think it’s subjective. I personally think you don’t need analog summing to get depth and dimension. Others would disagree.
Pure skill and knowledge, thank you Conan for sharing with us
You’re welcome mate

@@TheCratesMotel I know man. Massive loss to hip-hop. No-one comes close to rapping like he did. At least his music lives on.

And dont oversell the method, hats off mate
🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you for watching brother
Made it sound fuller 💪🏽💪🏽
Yes that’s a good description in my opinion
Great work around! I need to use mid-side eq more. I wonder if they'll ever make a mid-side EQ or visual parametric EQ for the MPC
It’s been requested many times. We can live in hope haha

Word!!! Great technique to use in the MPC. I had never thought of doing it like this. Briliant thank you. Love the lens.

Is true you can only get truth depth and dimension through analog summing? Or is that meth to sell more gear?
