    This show isn’t advocating for the return of Moyes, nor is it promoting that we should hire either Terzic or Potter … these are the latest rumours out there

    Great show, thanks. I definitely could see the board turning to Moyes if relegation became a serious possibility. From their business perspective, retaining Prem status would override all considerations -- they would see no better certainty for that than Moyes. I would like to see Silva or Franks, but would they even come...and would they succeed under the current board?

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      It wouldn’t surprise me if Moyes was brought back for a third time but not sure it would really happen
      Frank and silva would be good options. Either way respect to Brentford and Fulham we are bigger.. more resources etc and, yes, I think either of them would do reasonably well under the current ownership. The board do spend money on players

    Unfortunately Stel until we get a goid ambitious board who can make us fulfil our potential and constantly challenge for the top 6 we.ll always be a stepping stone . My first game was 1967 , and although football was a different game then we still lacked ambition , foregoing tge chance to sign the world's best goalkeeper Gordon Banks when we could have. Some things never change

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      You will know better than I David and kind of answered your own claim
      Have we ever had really ambitious owners?
      When the biscuit baron came in we thought this is it.. but that was a false dawn
      Then kretinsky came in and again we said this is it
      Alas he’s just an investor
      I am dubious whether we would get ambitious owners any more than we have because football has become a business / a commodity in which owners want a return on their investment without having to spend too much money

    Fair enough but you coukd argue that the Brighton managers after Potter had better players to work with , who were brought in on the sound footing that Potter gave the club ...If he does ever get the west ham job time will tell if he's a success or not ...

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      Good response David but those players would have been brought in regardless of the manager
      Their system works in a way that doesn’t rely on the manager being involved in transfers

  • @davidrussell9679

    We must get rid of Lopategli now....Amorin would've been my 1st choice , now I'd like Marco Silva ,Thomas Frank or Bournemouth s manager but Sullivan won't pay the compensation. ... I know u don't agree Stel but I'd take Potter think he did well at Brighton , ,regardless of how well they are run , never had chance at Chelsea , he's very good tactically. .Terzic style of play not too good apparently

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      I’m glad Amorim didn’t come.. he clearly saw this as a stepping stone
      I’m not against potter because he failed at Chelsea. But it’s clear that Brighton have had better managers than him since he left and have elevated Brighton far higher than potter did
      Potter would fail at West Ham

    Doesn't sullivan have a veto on transfers and managers being brought in if he doesn't win the majority vote in the board room?
    Max han uses the data to get the best players to play together, but if the head coach is not using them in the right positions and right tactics then Tim needs to have a word with loppy as Tim is his boss being the sporting director

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      As for Lopetegui reporting to Steidten… good point… that’s how the process should work

    Stel, I respect your patience and endurance mate. You say u try to "back the manager /head coach". Can I ask, what exactly are u backing! Wnat he is trying to do (u said u r confused), or what he is actually doing. Imo, the position Lopetegui finds himself in (his fault or anyone else) imo, will take until mid Feb to improve if at all possible. Why, u might wonder🤔🤔. January window mate. Our midfield is just faaaar to lost, lame and frustratingly frustrated. I'm sure u must recall how long I have been repeating this comment. Good show.

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      I can see what he’s trying to do - which is more possession based football, which is fine but there needs to be an end product to that . But his tactics and formations don’t always allow for the end product to materialise.
      That’s the part that baffles me
      Use players to their strengths and, if need be, play a different and more direct style

    I think Amorin was interested in joining us ..if he wanted to spark Liverpool ,s interest, there are ways and means of doing so without needing to fly over here on a private jet and risk the wrath of Sporting Lisbon fans...Tim been underwhelming, but working with Sullivan must be taken into account...However 45m was wasted on Guillherme and Fullkrug

      Ok you said yesterday you don’t want Antonio in the team not sure if you saying that was because of football reasons but it just sounds crazy to me because he out performs the players in the team younger than him

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      @ he really doesn’t out perform other players
      He never lasts 90 minutes, he should be an impact sub at best. He only seems to have the odd half decent game every now and then. And we should not be relying on a 35 year old makeshift striker to lead our front line
      Plus.. he should be a target man and not chase balls down the flank

    • @thetrueculture7871

      Ok take your personal feelings out of it in the next game and just watch what the players do because only you and few others don’t think he does anything i heard you said many times before you don’t know why Souček always on in the team now you saying something different

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

      @@thetrueculture7871 no I’ve kept my word on Antonio for a number of years
      When he plays well I’ll praise him. But I’ve been saying for quite some time that he should not be leading the line… perhaps for at least a couple of years
      As for Soucek… again, whilst many would berate him I’ve said that Soucek deserves more credit than he gets
      I will always praise a player when they do well or criticise when they don’t do well but Antonio is inconsistent

    Don’t want Moyes back & if he did come back then surely that’s the end of Tim & the technical director of football. Moyes already proved he couldn’t work with one, so for Moyes to come back he would want total control again. The board would have to agree to Moyes & Daniel K was I believe the one who insisted on getting in a TD which could let to disruption in the boardroom. They say never go back to an old club & Moyes would be a further step backwards for us.

Watching on catch up, I knew Amorim used us for a Liverpool spot light, fairly naive of Tim, I’m really not impressed with what he & his brother have done for us, perhaps Moyes could see through the lifestyle jet selfies. I wouldn’t be upset if he was let go, a lot of appointments in the last 6 months could be let go for me. ⚒️🏰🫧
