The players looked out of sorts to be honest, and I disagree with Bowen playing through the middle. He performed better and scored more and set up others cutting in from the wing.

Before the game, I was like you in thinking that if we can get nine points from the remaining 2024 games then we'll have done well. I was also of the mindset that this match would give us the first three points that we need. However, I'm now struggling to see where we are going to pick up nine points from the Wolves (h), Bournemouth (a), Brighton (h), Southampton (a), Liverpool (h) games.

I’m taking longer to calm down lately than ever before watching WH, Lopetegui has depressed me more than Moyes ever did, and that’s saying something. Besides everything you said, which was spot on, my thoughts about Kudus and his performance are simple, he’s had his natural attacking intent coached out of him. There were glimpses of his ability but so many times in this game he literally stopped and passed backwards rather than what we are used to, going on a run, taking and beating numerous players, which might have a positive outcome, or he gets fouled, but nothing, it’s gone. I’ve noticed similar with Bowen, under Moyes his focus was taking a shot and it paid off with his goal tally, under Lopetegui he’s constantly looking up, making a pass, which from our score lines don’t always come off. RVN is no tactical genius, he knew to just sit back and wait for our defence to be passed the highway line, and under two minutes it happens and we do nothing about it.

I know that we haven’t got a decent striker but I don’t think Lopetegui understands the opposition, does he do any homework on them ?

I’ll be amazed if the board release Lopetegui. Purely on the pocession and chances created. His team selection & formation was a major problem again, the fella doesn’t know his best side yet but playing a poor side like Leicester in the way we did is a major problem going forward. The manager available with no buy out is Potter so if there is a change he undoubtedly will be another major decision from the board after what reportedly happened with Amorin. Lipstick is clueless, but Steidten has gifted him a load of dross. I have zero confidence in Sullivan replacing Lop with a decent manager. It's going to be a fight to stay up whatever happens. I wouldn't be surprised if Sullivan sits on his hands.

If you watch carefully we very, very rarely pass the ball in the yard of space in front of our players. It’s always to the player or behind him so we have to stop moving forward and gather the ball. That’s what makes us so slow in our build up. Why playing 5 across the middle, designed to protect the fkn defence and go a goal down inside 1-1/2 mins? Out of all of our problems it's the striker issue that's the main one for me, even if Fullkrug is fit and firing we need to sign a quality striker in January because if Fullkrug gets injured again we cannot go to Antonio or Ings as back up, that would be fatal.
