That’s crazy. Imagine having one of these and someone assumes you have a 12 lol. I love that. I had 2 sundown Xv.2 10’s and someone thought a had an 18 in my car😂
Same thing with xv3, they made the 8” first. I think Jacob makes the 8’s first because they have always have a different style basket from 10”,12”,15”,18” Those sizes all use the same exact basket. Lots of sizes means more testing, so maybe just knock the 8” first before the main production sizes
building a conservative system for my a family member. considered doing a 1 cube net box 32hz with a JP13 for a single 8" xv4. would this pair up nice? thanks! -Wiz
I live in Houston Texas I'm disabled and I'm on a fixed income I was looking for someone to sponsor me with maybe a 10 inch sub powered box the fit between the two jump seats dimensions 12 x 12x12 it will be a blessing if I can get some help also I want to upgrade the mid-bay speakers in my do I have a 2011 Chevrolet traverse LTZ model put the Bose sound system I put a floating screen in about 5 years ago it's made by acoustic audio if you can help sponsor me with some of the equipment I will give you a very good review on the things you do on your channel I enjoy watching the things you do on your channel

I like 8 inch subs. 8" and 12", not a big fan of 10" subs. But like the "punch" of8 inch subs. And really for any vehicle an 8 inch sub is more than capable with most music and not worrying about any competitions. Especially with these Sundown X subwoofers. (I think it's funny people asking "which amp should I use for my sub? Or for my speakers?" It's the one you can afford. lol)
.75-1.0 cubic ft for ported. 0.3-0.4 sealed Jp8 will get you ~500 watts after ohm rise (impedance), I would go with jp 13 or bigger to wake that sub up a little bit
I don't doubt that those are good subs and you are trying to liquidate them to make space for your new upcoming subwoofer line. Having said that, who wants 8's when you can have 10's? Who want's 10's when you can have 12's? Perhaps some truck builds can use 8's but IMO 8's are a midrange speaker.
Good vid J, awesome subs. I also appreciated the 200 mph gel reference and wider spider rhymes!
Which ones bump better the sundown x8 v4 or the DD 2508g??
That’s crazy. Imagine having one of these and someone assumes you have a 12 lol. I love that. I had 2 sundown Xv.2 10’s and someone thought a had an 18 in my car😂
200 mph hair gell 🤣
I'd love to know how many cubic foot box, min to max, this sub can go in. Sundowns website is not clear on it
Wow, those are huge. I thought they were 12 when I first seen them.
When those d4s subs coming jp?....need 2 new 12s ....waiting patiently...
They came out with the v4 in a 8. I wonder why they didn’t come out with a X v4 everything else.

Yeah it costs around 40k to tool up 1 basket design.
I can't wait to be able to put all your stuff in my ride 02 tahoe
Holy crap i want that .that thing is Heavier then my two 12s had in 96
What amp would you recommend for just one of those subs.

What u guys recommend me I have 2 10s hx2 rockfordfosgates or two of these bad boys ????
10's all day IMO.
How big box do i need for 2 x8v3?
Safe with a 2-2.25³
How much does it cost jp?
Nice
I have 2 of these they slam like 12s
which amp do you have? and its the x8 v.4 1000w 2 ohm?
@@vlone4763 i have 4 ohm their wired to 0.5 ohm, and i had the jp23 v3 but i blew it , and now i have a taramps 3k wired to 0.5 ohm
Anything on the z8?
Yeah this guy puresesh just did a over a 150 with 2 sundown prototype z8 8s
Look up Shane's audio in Kaufman tx his son has a Ford focus with 14 8unch nemesis subs running 2500watts to them all it does hair tricks lol
🔥
Salt 1.5k can push 2 of these ?
Yes but a salt 2 or salt 3 would be more optimal. Or jp33 😊
That looks like overkill to me.

Can i have one?
glad to see pure sesh being mentioned right as video releases :)
Is the name Jacob the common name for R and D for subwoofers. Like the name Mike is synonymous to car mechanics…. lol
Looks beastly, what you guys think would have more output and bass 3 U8s or 2 X8v4s?
When are you gonna come back to oahu to come get a demo from bill?
My X8 V3 recently gave in after a year on a JP23v2 @1ohm with 32ah Headway.
Looking forward to seeing how much this new V4 can handle.

Looking for some nice door speakers for 2015 gmc crew cab . . Highs and mids . . Later a sub and any recommendations would be appreciated it . .
What is the Xmax and xmech? I keep hearing it’s has more, but what was it to begin with?
Jp 43 “ I think in 10 different colors “ nice “I THINK”
I thought you had made this already
Thanks for sharing the info.
How many cubes for a single? And would a jp8 be good enough for a single?
.75-1.0 cubic ft for ported.
0.3-0.4 sealed

Pickup trucks or limited space applications will most likely use 8s imo
lol 200mph hair gel … that’s the stuff astronauts use 😉🥸
