I have a request, Can you make a video on how to do makeup for eyeglass wearers. Sometimes my eyes need a break from contacts. I’ve found myself loving my eye look & when I put my glasses on I’m in horror on the amount of eyeliner or eyeshadow I actually have on 😅! It doesn’t look right at all! Anyways great tips!They will be very handy for this Florida weather!!!

For the combination of high humidity summer heat and oily skin ( that's me) This video was so helpful!! I'm going to go back and watch it a second time, taking notes this time! Between the summer humidity, oily skin and the fact that i work in a hot kitchen, i gave up wearing makeup during the week. It would slide off in 2 minutes . These techniques worked out beautifully for me! I followed this video step by step to go to our local amusement park this 4th of July (90 degrees, hot 🥵, and humid 😅) and my makeup still looked stunning when we got home (after sweating for 10 hours). Love that you mentioned the hairspray "hack" for your eyebrows. Hair spray and a small babies toothbrush were our brow hold and spoolie back many years ago.
Im gonna say it again, Lady Gaga wore the Haus labs foundation at The Chromatica Ball. That show included 60 foot flames on stage for multiple songs. Her make up was doing just fine throughout lol make up tested for summer weather 😂😂👏🏽

I love the biore sunscreen! It feels really light on the skin. For me living in a tropical country, my summer makeup is just sunscreen, powder, and liptint. Sometimes I also do my brows, little blush, and thin eyeliner.
Does it have fragrance?

I love your tutorials...I've been applying make up for years (and years) and at 59, things have changed, but I still like to look fresh and put together. Your videos have taught me to slow down get more intentional where and I apply my products, thank you! I live in Houston and we are already experiencing all the heat and humidity.....I've moved on to tints as foundations for now...between the tint and tinted sunscreen the coverage is nice and not heavy. P.S. I bought the Naturium Multi-Peptide Moisturizer and the Bio-Lipid Restoring Body Lotion....what beautiful products!!!! I bought the Dew Glow SPF50 as well, haven't tried it yet, but so far Naturium is no joke hydration products, thank you for the introduction!!!!

There is no sign of oil at all and it looks beautiful. I have noticed a lot of the times I watched you apply foundation, that it’s left you looking very oily at times.
It’s obvious with what I’ve seen you do today, that doing all your usual normal skin prep is what is making that happen.
As today with you only using the bare minimum, your face looks perfectly airbrushed and no sigh of oil at all.
Thank you for doing this video, as I now know only to use minimum skincare to get the perfect finish.
Plus it’s a bonus knowing that it’s heat proof too. ❤❤

I have super dry, eczema skin, but even I always powder my brows before laying down any brow product because of the moisturizing skincare products I use beforehand. The challenge is keeping any makeup product from melting or dissipating when it’s hot because of the moisturizer and oils I often use. I think I will just need to simplify my skincare during the summer months. I typically use a face sunscreen from Suntegrity that is a moisturizer, spf, and primer in one and that seems to do a great job on its own when it’s hot, even my wedding makeup artist was impressed!

For hot, sweaty days I default to using Danessa Myricks color fix and Loreal Age Perfect waterproof Mascara on the eyes. I go over the color fix with a little powder of some kind. Nothing runs. Sometimes I use the Loreal Full wear concealer because its waterproof, as well.

This helps me so much. I have combo skin but I sweat so much in the summer. Its a problem for me. I will definitely be trying these tips and products. I appreciate this video so much!! Lately I've just been wearing a mixture of bliss block star tinted sunscreen and Alastin tinted mineral sunscreen mixed and I set it with setting spray then the Givenchy powder. Then I just use a small amount of the Smash box/Becca eye brightener and set that with Givenchy again. Then I use a small amount of powder bronzer and powder blush. Mac paint pot in painterly on my lids with a little bronzer in my crease. The tower 28 mascara and a lip gloss. It only takes me 15 minutes or so and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin.
But I will definitely be trying your techniques and products you recommend for combo/oily skin. I appreciate you so much for sharing your tips and secrets for makeup longevity.
