I started collecting 4k about a year ago when Amazon had a great deal. I have at least 50-60 titles. I have many many blurays and I still collect DVD when not available on bluray.
I love how they're almost all with slip covers. they look awesome on the shelves that way. Here in Aus they hardly ever do slip covers so I prefer to take them off on the shelves. been collecting HD for 14 years, have almost 500 4ks and 1500 blu-rays
Awesome 4K COLLECTION I LOVE YOUR COLLECTIONS OF YOUR DVDS BLU RAYS AND 4KS I GOT ALL MY DVDS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER AND I GOT A FEW BLU RAYS IN ORDER AND ONLY ONE 4K
i really enjoyed this video as you have a really great collection! i want to get into 4k collecting myself and i was wondering where exactly you find most of your slips?
Great collection, what's even more impressive is that you have all the slips. I stopped buying from Best Buy online because they love sending me Slipcoverless movies... its extremely annoying
Fantastic collection. I am staying away from steelbooks now. Too expensive and most of the time the artwork is not that good. Slipcovers look good on the shelf.
I know what you mean. some steelbook art is awesome. Check out the Titans of Cult, they do some wicked steelbooks. but yeh, downside is the ridiculous prices.
Amazing 4k collection! A lot of titles i regret not picking up on release because the slipcover gets harder to find with some releases I plan to do a collection update as well soon would be cool if you could check it out also for future video ideas you can do tips on collecting or out and about videos
Need to find slips for a few good men, glory, grease, and 2001. I bought phantom thread with a slipcover at frys electronics about a year after it was released. Frys electronics sucks now though. They barely have anything, mostly arrow video titles. I doubt they sell phantom thread anymore
I prefer slips over steel primarily because of cost. In a perfect world where money was no issue, I could see myself preferring an entire collection of steelbooks, but at this point it's just not feasible. For the most part, if I own it on 4k I'll probably keep it even if I won't rewatch it personally. The goal is to have an extensive library of movies on 4k for when I build a large home theater for my kids.
I have about 20 4k releases but I only buy the movie I really like and are good transfers not all are equal I never bothered with 4k animated movies not a big enough diffrence in picture quality to justify the price
Not going to deny it. Sometimes I do just buy for collecting. However some movies that may not appeal to me, do to others and part of my goal is to have a sort of 'blockbuster' for friends/family to watch whatever they want, not just what I like.
Two things: 1: Wow, awesome great; I'm suitably envious of the size of your collection! 2: Is this really a video about a film collection, or is it about how much loose cash you have to throw at this? What I mean is, this is just another completely generic "everything Hollywood has released and the expected token foreign films, part of the US mainstream" collection; there's nothing personal about this at all. If I wanted to, I could just go through everything available on Amazon, and see the exact same films. Did you think about the choices at all? I mean, do you actually enjoy all of these films, or did you just grab everything? I look at you going through this and I have no idea who you are afterwards. I don't think I'd call this a collection, it's more of a "what US studios have released so far" I don't think there was one single release which took me by surprise here.. In your defence; with 4k being a fairly new format, only lately are some more interesting releases trickling out after the stuff the studios want us to buy; the stuff you have.. I know this is your video, your choice, your collection, etc, but you did put it out there, so this is just my two cents worth.
A Few Good Men goes under F, unless you wanna be consistent and put titles like The Lincoln Lawyer under T (they're called articles, you're welcome). Psychologists see strong correlations between fanatical collectors and early childhood trauma, which makes sense with the collection as a subconscious attempt to reassert order over a chaotic world. So when I see you collecting movies you admit to not liking or even viewing in some cases, I honestly have to wonder what awful things may have occurred to you as a boy to make you want to possess things you don't like for the pure sake of possessing them, for an illusory, always-fleeting sense of completeness. I don't begrudge you whatever safe crutches you feel you need if it's not hurting anyone else then I hope it's helping you with whatever you're dealing with. Regardless of the reality, just know how this looks to others. Are you OK?

Thanks for the comment! I subscribed to your channel, so I'll keep a look out!
@@theblureview1083 Are you going to be making new video reviews for your channel? I like what you’ve done.

Where you get your copy of man on a ledge from?
Cute cat! 😍
Great video! I assume you prefer slips over steelbooks? Do you like the look of slips better? Do you plan on keeping films you don't like?

Those Disney 4K movies are worth 200 points each. If you have Disney Movie Rewards.
I have about 20 4k releases but I only buy the movie I really like and are good transfers not all are equal I never bothered with 4k animated movies not a big enough diffrence in picture quality to justify the price
Have little care for slip covers and don’t buy fake 4K titles. ie 2K upscale
I have 38 that I know of that I am currently working on making a video of but I have more that got lost
It sounds like you couldn't be arsed buddy, and decent collection but it reaks of buying for buying sake here .

How do u pay that?? Harry Potter collection here costs 140€
I love 4K so much, I fuck it
Bill and Ted face the music

I also pride myself on all of my slipcovers on my 4K collection! None of my friends “get it” Imao
You should try to break up your Nolan box set, that would be really impressive, I think the prestige is one of the hardest slips to find
I've thought about it. I do prefer individual releases over box sets, but that would be a tough group to find!

Yes
Duh! Review some?
She asks why i have no life...
then 8K will come and we have to buy them all again lol
Seeing all these 4K’s with slipcovers and no plastic protective sleeves is giving me anxiety.
