Hello from Oregon, great collection, question. Do you save or toss your J cards from the steelbook purchases? I actually save mine in a protective case w/ the steelbook. Also, how are you with slipcovers? I find myself only looking for movies with them and it did become an issues, not to mention a little frustrating. Thank you for the review.
I do save the J cards, I just keep them in a shoebox lol. I try and always get movies with the slipcovers. It can be hard when you use Amazon but in store I try and always make sure they have them.
Was counting. Lol I got 186 of the titles. Not all the same edition. Accourding to my film collector app I have 340 individual 4K titles in 304 containers. Dome box sets and such. I got almost all Arrow 4K and Vinegar Syndrome RK up to date. All John Carpenter released in 4K and John Landis. I npticed you do not have Blade Runner? One of my all time fav movies. Tge 4K is stunning. They have really worked on the audio too. Recommend if you like that movie. Loved the Close Encounters box! 👍😎
Why did you choose this titles? Or was to no reason? I can see a few are worthy 4K transfers but did you make ur Decision on quality of transfer or movies only?
Cgi doesn't transfer to 4k so majority of your collection aren't 4k and you may as well just get on 1080p blu ray,,,much more affordable and no difference in quality
Not sure I'd say the majority of my movies have cgi, and it certainly isn't all cgi throughout the movie. 4K disks don't just have visual improvements, they also have audio improvements as well. While some bluray's come with Dolby Atmos or DTS-X, they are much more available on 4K's. And at this point, a lot of 4K's aren't that much more expensive than bluray's. But, to each is own on what they prefer to watch. I have seen bluray disks that I think look better then their 4K counterparts. I just like to have the best looking and sounding version of the movie possible. Thanks for watching!
@@StraightToBluray definitely seen blu rays that looked better than the 4k, you're right about sound improvement with atmos, also hdr is amazing , would be interested to see good cgi comparison with say Spider-Man homecoming 4k hdr vs blu ray, like to see others collections, good video man
The MCU Chronological order actually begins with Iron Man then Iron Man 2 then The Incredible Hulk because of how Iron Man 2 is set 6 months after Iron Man. Also it’s called Captain America: Civil War and not Avengers: Civil War.

I don't see any boutique blu-rays. Looks like all hollywood blockbuster films. Try collecting deeper cuts.
@@root8272 That's because most of the ones I have are not on 4K they are blu-ray which is in a separate video.
Great collection. Love the full star wars collection with all the slips. Even the rare Solo and Last Jedi slips.

Mostly they are movies I like and I want to watch them with the best picture and audio quality.

Yeah a new shelf will be needed pretty soon. I was going to buy the Resident Evil set a month ago but the price on it now is super high.

Yeah. I like how the movies look and the steelbooks are ok its just the terrible packaging they come in that I didn't like.
