    My husband and I are in our late 60s. We've been homebound due to really low temperature and ice outside. We've been doing a variety of your videos most every day. We feel we're stronger than when we were walking for more minutes (but more slowly) outside. Thanks so much for your wonderful contribution to our health and happier days.

    I decided to challenge myself by doing both Mom's and April's 1 Mile Walks (1 each morning and afternoon), and truly pushed it with both. Whenever possible, whenever the arms weren't engaged, I made sure to raise them to intensify the cardio benefit, backed by increasing the speed of the exercises and walking. Aiko's ever-elusive hotdog seems to be her inspiration which is infectious. Now I'm wondering how a HUGE one will challenge the toilet paper routine. Loved being in on the fun you both had. Aiko met the challenge with a smile on her face the entire time! Thank you, April, for your imaginative and never stale routines...Anastasia

    I found your channel and my husband and it have been doing some 25 minute workouts for the last few days. We are going to make time to do one every day! We’re 56 and 58. I told his parents about it, because they’re 83 and 85 and his dad has had some falls over the last 6 months due to balance and leg weakness. I sent them the TH-cam link and they started with a walking workout yesterday. They loved it! I am so happy that you do this with your mom. It really made a difference in my in-laws starting this program. They can relate. Thank you, thank you! We love you you two. Your mom is so adorable!

    I just found your videos. I am 61, over weight and have joint issues. I tried a walking club after work, but I have no energy for it. I started using different videos for different body strengthening and cardio. This one has me feeling sore, but good. It is the start of my day, so I had enough energy. Thank you for these videos.

    Thank you so much for this video. It was very easy exercise but I sweat so good and it’s my period week now so I was not able to do hard workouts but this workout was amazing. I also love the reminders you say to the cute old lady. It was so good to hear that “go with my own bodies pace” because I’m overweight and it can be very hard for me to do so quick exercises.     Day 2 of my personal challenge to do workouts I haven't tried before. I tried this one for the first time Thursday morning (Feb. 1, 2024) and took your advice to ramp it up with light weights. I used 3-pound dumbbells to make it a strength/cardio combination workout. I couldn't quite meet April's pace, but I did get in just about exactly a mile by the end of the workout (including cooldown) and got nice and dewy!

    I'm 43, but so out of shape after 9 kids. Even beginner workouts, I'm unable to do. But when I saw your mom, I knew I could do this. I didn't have to pause on this video, I was even able to make a few steps harder. I am sweating but it feels good. My lungs never gave out. Mom is so funny. God bless her. I've subscribed.

    I am trying to get back into regular exercise and so grateful for this video! The perfect amount of time, easy on my knees, no getting on the ground, and the best part is that April shows us her pace which makes it EASY to ramp this up to a more intermediate level which is my preferred pace even if the exercises themselves are gentle. Being able to choose April pace or Mom pace is super helpful! Would love to see this more! I do miss Mochi but my cat was also sleeping while I was exercising so I get it lol. Thanks for this great new video and happy new year! I hope you had lots of fun Japanese new year treats. I certainly ate my fill of sweet red bean treats and various tskuemono so I am ready to work off these extra pounds I gained over the holidays!

    3/6/24: I’ve been doing yes2next videos for two months now. First time for this workout, and I really like it. I raise my arms over my head to get more cardio. I also reallly like the “Charleston,” so I usually substitute that for one of the exercises. Then I can think about Donna Reed and Jimmy Stewart dancing in the gym. Aiko kept me working out till the end, because I wasn’t going to stop if Aiko was going strong. Thanks, April and Aiko!

    Thanks for this walking workout at home. It’s so enjoyable to do here in Montreal these days when there it is so cold and snow and there is always a risk of fall outside. I always love the short 30 seconds varied workout. Will do the same tomorrow ❤❤

    I just completed this one mile walk. What fun! Now, I have a bit of a cold coming on and it is not always easy for me to get in my steps with the tiredness from Osteoarthritis but I pushed on through it. So far with general movement and doing this video I have 3467 steps, 1.32 miles and 52 minutes. Thanks so much for this latest video April and Aiko. Also I enjoy the comedy. 👩‍🦯🤾‍♀🌭

    Just getting back to exercising after a too long lapse. This was a good start, except by the time it was done my hip bursitis was quite sore. Also, for me, even though I followed everything it was only .92 mikes!

    Mom and you sure have a great relationship - unique in many households. So CHEERS! Oh dear, 😁😁😁 Mochi is sleeping on the job!!! Anyway another great exercised planned by you for us - the seniors. Even catto here are all seniors 😉 We enjoy the count on distance. Got ourselves a digital timer/pedometer/kcal counter but (ha! ha!) apparently it's too high-tech for seniors to clear & reset the count. Or could we have gotten a lemon? The info brochure is so tiny - and we just gave up despite the magnifier!!! Thumbs up as always.
