      Yeah definitely one of the first. It was a good bike but I'm not that aggressive of an off-road Rider so anything would work for me so I sold it for a pretty high price and this is the longest I've gone without a dual sport. I prefer street riding with the xsr but I am definitely heavily considering a Yamaha xt600 from the '90s. Someone is selling a pretty clean one for $2,000 near me

      It's comfortable if you're tall and have long arms but even I put a 1 in riser spacer on it to make it even more upright. The factory position leans you over a little bit because the tank is super long

    Im having such a great time. All that i wanted nothing i didnt. I feel like im faster on this in twisties than i was on my r1. Im assuming its the wider bars giving more confidence and maybe the slightly smaller tires flicking more easily. Incredibly satisfying. I actually have a car which is heavily modified and faster than the bike but after a week on the bike i went get groceries in the car and noticed how jumpy the throttle is how stiff the suspension is all the rattles plus the anxiety of what will break next.... the bike has none of that. Nice bike man. I was thinking for months if I wanted this or the new street triple. I ended up going with the street triple but without a doubt this was my second choice. To be honest if the dealer had actually let me test ride the XSR I would have bought it but Triumph actually let me test ride the street triple so that convinced me!

      I've heard the new street triple is a little more dialed in with the suspension if you're looking for a bike you could take to the track but on the street all of the new CP3 bikes are pretty gnarly and hard to beat

    • @CraterLakey
      @CraterLakey ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheCoolestCourier Without a doubt. From what I heard from every review is the CP3 is a little torquier than the street triple. I definitely did have the track in mind as well. Not that the XSR couldn't tear it up on a track as well obviously. I wish the dealers by me would allow people to road test. The only one I know of by me that allows it is the Triumph. Definitely helps sell the bike to someone haha

    • @TheCoolestCourier
      @TheCoolestCourier  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it's still has good power even with the passenger but having a passenger on the back always heavily affects handling. Any bike under 700 lbs kind of feels like trying to have someone stand on your rear pegs on your BMX bike when you were a kid. The only bike I've ever ridden where you don't notice the passenger is a Honda Goldwing lol

    • @t3tris262
      @t3tris262 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea you will be fine, you have to really give it gas to lift the front wheel, also you can just adjust the wheelie control or put it in a lower power setting to start out in

    • @TheCoolestCourier

      If you've owned that a while and consider yourself a proficient motorcyclist then it shouldn't be a problem. Just be cautious and use the electronics before doing first gear pulls on the bike and you'll be fine. The ride modes help a lot. I find myself using ride mode 2 the most.

      I never considered the street triple but I see that many people have. It seems like people who have owned both prefer the CP3 bikes but I did consider the gsx1000s as it is a crazy value for money. But this channel I follow called Moto jitsu sold his within 2 weeks. This bike is so good looking, the video doesn't do it just. I saw one at the dealer, it looked awesome. The only issue for me is that I am a short rider, so the seating position felt a bit too aggressive, with short arms I had to lean forward more. If it wasnt for that I probably would buy this bike.
    Have you ever ridden an MT07? The torque is too much for me at low rpms from 1st - 4th gear, it makes the bike a bit jerky, does this bike feel smoother or is it too torquey at low rpms as well?

    • @TheCoolestCourier
      @TheCoolestCourier  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah it is quite a stretch to the bars. This engine is a lot smoother than the cp2 bikes. My first bike was an xsr700. But it is just as torquey at low RPMs but more manageable. All I'm going to say though is if you're not confident in managing the jerky throttle and power of an mto7. The CP3 bikes are even less manageable. They Ride perfectly but when you start banging through the gears at Red Line with the quick shifter it's a freaking missile and you better know how to brake well if you own this bike.

    • @newbierides
      @newbierides 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheCoolestCourier I'm confident managing the torquey on the CP2, but it is just too jerky at low speeds, it has too much torque at low rpms. Engine braking on an MT07 is nuts. I hear the CP3 are smoother, torquey but not as jerky at low speeds. The only thing that worries me more about this bike is the tank felt a bit too long so the reach to the bars felt a bit far for me being a small rider.

    Fantastic bike. However I’m bordeline looking to sell it cause the seat is probably the worst I’ve ever been on. Looking to do longer rides and after an hour or so my butt is gone

      I’ve been looking for one since release to test ride to make sure that’s what I want and you trying to sell your. Where you live. I had a dealer ship say they would transfer from a dealer in their network but I have to put $500 down and it’s hard if you haven’t ridden one

      Yeah it's on the more uncomfortable side but it's way better than dirt bikes. I can last a couple hours at a time comfortably.

      Yeah definitely, it's also easier to go to the gym and train legs so you have some muscle in your ass and you're not sitting on your bones lol

    Nice bike dude but you need to change that horrendous looking and hard seat. Corbin do a much better looking and more comfy seat.

      I should have rephrased too quickest thing on the road. This thing will dump all over liter bikes from 0 to 80 at a light , you can launch it much harder because of its wheelbase

      Well the asap ship has sailed. It's coming up on a year that I've owned it and I'm still too cheap to get a tail tidy

    • @Xwii610
      @Xwii610 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheCoolestCourier why? They make the bike look so much better, and they're not even that expensive(50-100). It's the first thing I change when ever I get a new bike. The stock tail fenders these days just look so ugly.

    • @TheCoolestCourier
      @TheCoolestCourier  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you can link me one that's in that price range I would definitely get it. The New Rage cycles tail tidy is $230 after tax. If it looked amazing like the xsr700 Tails Tidy then I would have got it by now but what they have for my bike is only a slight upgrade in my opinion. I didn't buy this bike for looks even though I think it's beautiful. All I wanted was the new MTO9 platform with a longer swing arm

    what is the need these people have for a phone always to bew present , leave it in your jacket pocket and turn all that shite off and be in the moment with your bike

    • @TheCoolestCourier
      @TheCoolestCourier  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree and I used to put it in my old jacket but I have two reasons. 1. It doesn't fit in my new jacket pocket, my phone is huge. And 2. I use my GPS quite frequently to navigate The Canyon roads where I live it's a huge network of roads that lead nowhere with a few that cross over through mountains and to the beach and I'm always trying to find new routes that connect to Carlsbad.
