    Well done. Add a piece of masking tape around the circumference of the step drill bit just above the preferred hole size to mark how deep to drill.

      Thanks Rick! Thats seems easier than checking the bit every time 😅

    Never heard of a local plastic store. Home depot sells acrylic boards.

    I live in Minneapolis and have tried searching for a local plastic fabrication company to no avail. Any tips on how to search?

    If you were to drill holes in a 24 x 36 in acrylic sheet how far from the corners would you drill the holes?

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do about 1.5" from both corners!

    Thanks for this video! Planning on following this tutorial shortly! Any substitution or tips if I don’t have a clamp? Like is it good enough if someone else holds it in place? Just trying to avoid another cost 😅

    Could you drill the acrylic with the paper off of it and it not affected at all?

    Do you happen to have a video like this for smaller holes?

    • @CarlyKeller
      @CarlyKeller  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do smaller holes with this same drill bit, just dont go as deep with it!

      @@CarlyKeller thank you, what about a flat shallow hole? I’m trying to glue a very small piece of magnet onto the surface of a thin acrylic sheet to be able to hang it on my fridge. Also, any suggestions on a clear glue to use to glue and fill a tiny hole?

    I have the hardest time finding a “plastic store”. These big name hardware stores sell the acrylic for $$ and they don’t carry the thickness of 8th inch.

      Google "plastic fabrication company near me" and hopefully will have some options near you! There are over 10 in Denver alone. Check near the industrial areas or your town
