Amira won Holland's Got Talent when she was nine. She sang this song when she was 10. She is now 117. The incredible thing about her is that she watched videos of Maria Callas and paid close attention to the way Callas shaped her notes and copied the music she heard. She has since had teachers who who helped her with technique. What she did on her own was was spectacular.

Nice! Amira's mother said in an interview that she is a perfectionist in everything. Amira said in an interview that she understands that her voice is a gift from God and, therefore, she has an obligation to improve and use it in the best way possible. She works and polishes every syllable of the song before performing, both in technique and emotion. She doesn't improvise anything. She always does her best. And her main source of inspiration is always Jesus. In the Netherlands, a minor can only perform up to 12 presentations per year. She never chooses the most profitable presentations, only the ones for charity. She has a beautiful soul.
Two other exceptional young opera singers who have turned up on talent shows are Jackie Evancho and Laura Bretan. Laura at 13 was stunning. Jackie at 9 was almost frightening she was so good. The first time I saw Amira she was only 8 or 9 as well. There are 2 new female singers that I haven't really listened to yet. They are probably just as talented. I don't know where these kids get their skills. Talent, that's easy to understand. But skill at their ages? I'm completely mind-blown.

The amazing thing is that she wax self trained until she performed here in front of a 10,000 seated audience plus another 5000 who were listening out of view in adjacent streets. That's right 15,000 plus the many millions who have since seen this video of her. She is simply wonderful and constantly tears my heart apart in reducing me to tears.

She had a "Master class" with Andre Rieu in London on December 7, 2013; i.e. before the semi-final of HGT, and after her victory at HGT in December 2013, she got a recording contract with SONY, and a singing coach, Maike van der Weil. and Maike coached her through the recording of her first album in February 2014. So she had had a fair bit of coaching before she performed with Andre Rieu in July 2014
After watching and listening to Amira's TH-cam from 9 years old to now 18 years old, I think that everything is perfect and Amira is a genius after all ❣😃🙌
