A vlog on what future Jed might look like: channel goals/direction, content wishlist, personal growth aspirations, etc. Basically what do you hope to accomplish, do differently, continue to elevate, or even things you hope never change (that you don’t mind sharing with us of course lol)
Final thoughts: I really like how the vlog footage is interspaced with more "cinematic" elements. It's very fun and refreshing. Especially like how the footage is graded.
Jed’s such an underrated creator. There’s no doubt he’s gonna take off soon Also, I was wondering if there’s any tips for people who don’t feel like college is for them but also don’t know where to start in terms of their video career? Thanks and God bless
I went to a 4 yr university for film, so I might not be the best person to answer this question but I have met people who didn’t go the college route. It all depends on what kind of video work you want to get into. If that’s weddings, commercials for small businesses etc. you’ll have to start out doing it for free until you have enough content to prove your worth. If it’s film that’s more difficult but there are sites like: “My First Job in Film” that may be a good place to start, but sadly it’s often all about who you know. TH-cam wise starting with niche content like @jedcal and his software engineering and building an audience before switching to more vlog based content seems to be the best way, but succeeding in that is still very difficult 😂
Would be fun to see you (and roommates if they’re willing) go for a week without eating out, including coffee and matcha, and get your reflections on it afterwards.
as a filipino living in ph, I always dreamt about moving to nyc someday. I’m still a senior in high school but watching your vlogs motivate me to study hard and move there
your ad inclusions always make my day bc they’re so fun, creative, and unexpected LOL. your editing and footage is getting better and better, eight mins went by in the blink of an eye, as usual :’)
I love these kinds of what I spend in a day videos- it’s so cool to see what we prioritize in our spending especially with the different jobs we have :D
People I'm really curious, how can Jedcal afford to live like this with this rent? I'm becoming Software Engineer too, but salaries are usually like 5000 - 7000$ per month mostly so idk if sponsorship + his job is main income, but it is expensive af and I don't know HOW THE FCK people pay this rent at 25 years olds (in my country programming salaries are 1500 - 3000$ (machine learning is 3000).
Wow Jed I'm so glad u moved to the house because that's how i found out about u and started watching ur videos, ur vibe is so refreshing and comfort to watch idk can't describe it but keep going, I'll be heeeere
I like how you broke down gym cost to daily rate - it makes more sense why it’s worth the expenditure especially since you go everyday and also use it instead of wework. By the same token, your shirt being the cost of 10 chipotle bowls 😂😭
DAMN 202 a DAY🤯 aye I like the vids though, first time watching one of your vids, and it feels just like Kelly & Luke’s style, so it’s a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me💪🏽
I totally enjoyed this video Jed🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽 the footages, cinematic film experience is 💯 engaging and worth watching the video till end! Nice one 👍🏼 keep it up!
282 dollars that is 22,807 Indian rupees. If you have a decent lifestyle that's 2 weeks worth of good food , good clothes and a good living situation in India. It's simply fascinating to me.
This was fun to watch and made me happy and sad at the same time. I'm 25 yr old who moved to US (NYC) few months ago and and I feel like a loser cause I am a broke intl student who cannot afford anything right now hahaha
$3,400 for that room is actually expensive even for NYC standards. I pay $3,000 for a 450 Sft studio in one of the newer buildings in LIC with in unit W/D
I wonder about this for TH-camrs a lot..it’s always what I spend in day, but what about monthly expenses - specifically health insurance and/or 401k/Roth IRAs?

a vlog about cafe hopping or exploring filipino food restaurants in nyc would be cool!!
What do u think about the tourist spots in ny and rate it
Your fave food spots in NYC or fave photograph spots (like rooftops, parks, etc). Best books you’ve read?

"you're spending more than you need probably" that's the line. But whatever makes you happy is all that matters.
“dude thats a pacsun graphic” got me laughing because i too tend to spend around the same amount as you did on a shirt as well 🥲
Would be fun to see you (and roommates if they’re willing) go for a week without eating out, including coffee and matcha, and get your reflections on it afterwards.
Jed's video style is honestly so high end. He definitely takes his time in editing. It's always well put together.
Seems like you know how to prioritize important tasks in your life and know how to budget wisely. Keep up the good work. May God bless you.

I don't think he works in tech / engineering at all?????? I think he dropped that to be a full time youtuber
Maybe its just a feeling but i think you're never depressed and i hope you are always like this...

Exactly that's unreal bruh, thats like around 7 lakh rupees per month but kudos to Jed to be able to manage all of this stuff
Omg that sounds really amazing to get all that.
It’s almost 17k in Ph Peso. That’s like a common minimum wage earner’s salary for a month.
thats why you dont compare PPP, dumb comparison
It's actually salary of most of indians...
hearing the rent cost hurt my soul, but experiences matter !!!
