As a New Yorker from The Bronx, I have to be very cautious how much I spend in the city. It all depends on the week, going in person to work, and how much I go outside to be honest. Thank you for being transparent. You do spend a reasonable amount. It’s still a lot, but welcome to NYC, especially in the tourist areas🥲!
Also, the monthly metro card covers unlimited train rides for the month. I think you did a good job with the spending for the week. Great vid as always man!
Hello from London . NYC is on the pricier side I just came back from a trip. Food prices are significantly higher but I still loved the city. Keep up the vids.
Just stumbled upon this video and it was great! One thing I noticed is an apartment outside the view of your window and realized you live literally a block away from me! We even shop at the same target 😂 I’m not sure if you’ve done a neighborhood tour so I’ll keep the area to myself. If you have though, I’m always looking for new places to check out!
You have romanticized NY in a way how I pictured growing up LOL...I just did not get this or that feeling when I visited. But now I want to visit again.
Bro we need to get you to the spots lol you still got the tourist feel... need to get that NY sauce you a new yorker now my guy lol great video though reminds me of home
Wow, $4000 in monthly expenses plus $5000 in rent = $108k per year. If I was working remotely I would move to the countryside but you obviously love NY.
For sushi 🍱 that is expensive but typical. In Atlanta, you get two more pieces for 17.00 🤷🏽♀️. First thing I thought was “why is sushi so expensive? there’s nothing expensive in it.” 🤦🏽♀️
I don't even want to calculate how much I spend daily, weekly, monthly or yearly... I might cry Bay Area living and born and raised! I miss the days when $20 got you a whole meal, sandwich at the mom & pop store, chips, juice and the 2 for a $1.00 candies mannn take me back 90s 😅
Sup Gyasi! I'm a Mechanical engineer from Sweden! I truly love the New York area and I'd really like to move there in the near future. Do you have any recommendations on jobs or even where to start looking to be able to find something so that I can make the move to the states? Keep up your good work!!

Hey youtube subscriber here. I was just wondering if you could give me tips or pointers going into tech I am 18 years old, in Scotland 🏴 and I will be starting university in September studying computer science. Do you have any tips in general for that specific first 1-2 years while studying that area? Also down the line I want to transition into cyber security. My main goals are to get really good in that cyber area, and to earn lots and lots of money. Would you have any tips for me so I can get ahead of the field, or achieve these goals the early as possible. Many thanks, aaron
I’m just coming to the end of my cs degree in the UK and finishing the top of my course. If I could do one thing different, I’d apply for a summer internship for the summer between year 1 and 2. The FAANG internships open around 12 months before you’d be due to start, i.e. if you wanted to apply for one for summer 2024, you’d have to apply this summer. Other than that, master your main procedural programming and object oriented programming modules in first year and that will set you up well. Bonus: if you have a placement year, apply for a company you’d like to work at as a graduate because they’ll probably give you a grad offer. You got this mate 👊
@@samross8060 hey Sam thanks for the tips How would I go about applying for these internships For those companies ? Also what’s the reason you regretted not doing the FAANG internships ? What pros would it have brought to you ?
The branded TH-cam we want. Although I never know what to say about the social infrastructure for African American s in stem and pathways that are sustainable for them throughout their lifespan. Like I had to look and it seems like not enough. Like from my limited understanding of web2 and web3 like in the med space where are the doctors, pharmacist, conglomerates for black Americans. I found i believe jasmine green md or phd. And that took years. And also dr. Dorothy e. Roberts. But even as i navigate mental health space it’s difficult to find mental health professional s who are African American.
I think u need to six figures salary and no loans, to live comfortably with that spending. Otherwise u’ll need to make compromises (probably on food) someday so u don’t feel any financial stress.
Exactly, there are so many ways he can spend less. For example, stop going to that expensive coffee shop and make his own damn gourmet coffee from a keurig machine! 🙄 Why is he spending so much on food?!! Imagine if he had children?!! He is living a luxury life, sushi is not a meal necessity smh 🤦🏽♀️ I wonder if he has a retirement pension plan or invests in the stock mart? Just wasteful mindless spending, especially since he works from home. Half those simple meals like quesadillas he can make at home ! He can save thousands of dollars & eventually have enough of a down payment for a condo in Queens or Long Island, NY instead of spending so much money to live in the city. Just crazy ! By the way I am 60 years old born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Long Island ny the past 27 years. So I know for a fact he can spend a lot less if he budgets his money better and makes some of his meals at home! The rents all over New York including in the suburbs is ridiculous, but he can use his funds more efficiently by saving & buying a condo, especially since he has a remote job! Smh 🤦🏽♀️
I like that you have the discipline to keep everything clean and sleek. Makes you more organized and productive.

Major side eye lol
I had to PAUSE at @9:37! $50.51 for Wendy’s?! I’m so curious as to what your order was. That part had me floooored!
Ubereats is insane it inflates all the menu prices and the service fees are wild
The Wendy's uber eats comment had me crying.. I know the feeling too well
Why go to Target like 3 different times in one week.. Just go one and get everything you need at the same time
Would be a fun place to visit. Hell no i aint paying no damn 5000 a month for rent though. That is a couple mortgage payments in other states.
Life in NY is so expensive. With that kind of money, you would live like a KING in South Africa.
This is how I wanna be when I’m 27 I’m 21 rn
Cooking is good and enjoying yourself out is fine. The Ubereats DoorDash and taking Ubers is way too much. 50.51 dollars for Wendy’s 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
That Buffalo Vegan dip is what we bought the other day in Cali 🤮
Where did you get the hidden hoodie from? Can you link their online store, please?
Inflation hit me hard $7 for a carton of eggs water is $30 gas is $60 i can only afford sale bread but the funny this it’s organic shxt wonder why
How did Café kitsune allow u to use your laptop? I used it and they told me I had to close it as it’s a laptop free Café
