@@michal8625 No one said low end for a beginner. But yeah, if you want a good quality student guitar you're looking at around $500-$600. So the $800 isn't far off. Plus the guitar market has objectively increased in price altogether and they're all not "entry level price" whatever that is. Sure you can buy a $100 guitar but that doesn't mean it's built well, stays in tune and intonates down the whole neck. $3k is a waste of money for a guitar unless you're loaded with money. You can get the same great quality from the $600-$1k range

As self employed people, you guys need to set up an IRA and you should have an investment portfolio and make monthly contributions. You shouldn't be living hand to mouth. You didn't mention how much that apartment you're living in costs but I imagine, it's quite expensive. You TH-cam guys that live in the Apple universe also spend a huge amount of money always getting the latest and greatest but Apple is an addiction. You get suckered into constantly upgrading. In the meantime, I can run a 10 year old PC and it's more than fast enough to do advanced editing because all I have to do is just replace a graphics card now and again and it's all good.
