    I just got an R100 yesterday, and it came with the kit lens and the 55-210 lens. I took the 210 out to the river in the back, and got the best pictures of flowers I have ever had. Then I heard a noise, and on the opposite side of the river was a young spotted white tail deer who came and started to eat some plants on the river.
    It was a religious experience. I was able to see a deer closer then I ever have in my life.
    I am hooked on photography.

    I've seen a variety of comments but truly no one is talking about how outstanding this content is. I got this in my home screen recommended and was blown away by the content, it is so fresh and fun. You've gained a new subscriber and I'm amazed you don't have more. Wildlife content on youtube is abundant but a more relaxed video like this is hard to find. I am just beginning my wildlife photography journey, I mostly do weddings and events, but this was such a blast to watch, stay encourgaed, this is amazing content.

      @@Jackinthenature, It increases the selling point . Because there is very few indepth reviews of the 22,000 lense . On another note if you mimic the roe deers bark/call they'll stop n look at you .

      @@colintraveller I understand that, it is a very rare lens that would take more time to review, although that was not the purpose of my video anyway.

    One of the best photos of wild birds I have was taken very close up, none of them were hiding or setting up a camera trap, I only have the kit lens, I got the camera to about 30 centimeters from the bird to take the photos, for this one the bird was on a branch quite high in the tree and started showing off, even spreading its wings.
    A curiosity: this is my first camera and I've had it since January, before that I used my cell phone. I managed to take the photo I mentioned 3 days after the post office delivered my camera... When people tell me I'm lucky, I think it's more likely that the "Disney princess" effect exists.

      Hi Wolfer, thanks for the comment! I honestly didn't quite understand what you're trying to tell me...I can tell from your description that these are birds that are used to human presence and that's why they let themselves get so close

    • @Jackinthenature
      @Jackinthenature  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Unfortunately, I have never used telescopes for photography, so I don't know. However, I think that with a telescope you could get even "closer" to the subject than with the 1200mm, but you should have a mount to connect the camera to it somehow...
      Please if you know more about it, let me know!
      thank you so much!

    • @orionnebula3487
      @orionnebula3487 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Jackinthenature Sure :)
      Most of the telescopes have a 1.25", 2" or the large ones 3" opening for the camera. You then only need a "T-Adapter" for your camera like Nikon, Sony, Canon from your camera to let's say 2". Sometimes you also need 2" extension tubes to get into focus. But that's basically it. 😉

    Ancora un bel video, specialmente la riprese di avifauna.
    Da utilizzatore Canon, mi sto indirizzando verso il 200-800 che su R7 (APSC) diventerebbe esso stesso 1200mm.
    D'accordo, ben altra cosa rispetto l'attrezzatura da te testata, ma è anche vero che il tutto risulta indiscutibilmente più pratico e maneggevole specie per chi, come me, fa esclusivamente caccia vagante. Insomma, il 1200 mm te lo lascio.😅
    Piuttosto, mi fa più gola il 400/2,8 quello si. .Peccato abbia un grave difetto che ti lascio immaginare. 😉
